This was our first visit to the Panera Bread location in Prosper, TX. This is a new location within a new shopping complex and it features Panera's new building design. We really liked the new kiosk ordering process that lets us to order things fast. Their menu has undergone some changes and I found the udon/noodle options to be a good addition. The one problem with this location is the slow service and it took ~20mins for our food to arrive. The tomato soup/caprese sandwich was very tasty but the edamame soba bowl was horrible and lacked any flavor. If Panera is going to add Asian flavors to its menu, it also needs to season them well. The slow service and the lackluster noodle bowl was really disappointing. read more

Placed an order to pick up in the drive through. One of my orders was supposed to have rice but they were " all out", then they tried to give me someone else's order. After 20 min I got my order and my bowl didn't contain chicken and I paid for it. Very disappointed! read more

Beware if you pay cash you won't be provided a receipt and no order will show up on drive thru screen. Long story short I'm pretty sure staff here is putting that cash in there pockets and when you come back with an incorrect order they simply avoid you or turn you away. read more

This Panera used to be great but recently the warm grain Baja bowls my mom and I always get have been smaller and smaller and today, I was even more upset because I noticed my avocado had a piece of skin still on it... $11 is way too much for this type of service. read more

Will not order again. My husband and I were both sick with the flu. We ordered two chicken noodle soups to be delivered. When our order arrived it was 2 cups of tomato soup. I called to let them know we got the wrong order. The manager said oh great so I'm sure I am going to be getting another call and proceeded to blame the delivery driver. I quickly let her know the receipt on the bag was correct but the order was filled incorrectly. She said we don't deliver so there is nothing I can do. Been here twice and the food is average but the biggest issues are the cost for the portions and the place is always dirty - tables and floors. With the restauarant empty close to 7 p.m. there were 5 people in the kitchen and it took 30 minutes to get a chicken salad sandwhich!! Not acceptable for Panera! It has now been 15 min. Since I ordered Mac and Cheese. Yes we have now had to clear.our own plates and bowls. We placed our first or at 6:26 p.m. It is now 7:46 and we are asking for our Mac & Cheese to go. This location is hit and miss. Sometimes my experience is superb: good food, friendly service, pleasant decor and atmosphere; others times: I wait 25 minutes in a short drive thru line - only to be told they need to substitute the meat in my sandwich because they failed to prepare enough. I placed an online order late morning for a curbside pickup for 5:45pm. I called when I would be there early and I as told sure we can have it ready for 5:15. I arrived on time and did the online arrival spot notification. After waiting 15min I called and was assured my order would be brought out shortly. Another 15min later finally I receive my food with a "here you go, have a good day" and she walked away. Once I got home, I was missing 3 yogurt parfaits at 4.79 each replaced with 4 gogurt packets. I love Panera but this was my first time to this location. Whole experience was so disappointing!! I usually eat at your establishment twice a week however this evening I was highly disappointed in my greek salad. It was stuffed with way too much lettuce and not enough of everything else a typical Greek salad would come with. I was finished with only a few bites and the pictured attached shows all of the lettuce left over. I literally had about 4 strips of grilled chicken, 2 olives and only a few tomatoes. I came here and ordered 6 bagels, nothing else. There were no other customers at that time and there was a lady came after me. For some reason, she got her orders first even though the screen said my order was ready. The staff there didn't seem to be working. They kept chatting until I came to the pick up section then prepared my order. They even got wrong items for my order which until late that day I checked and realized it was wrong. My wife loves Panera. I wad out and she wanted their French onion soup in a bread bowl and full baguette to go. I was in the drive-thru for probably 45 minutes, mind you it was 2 in the afternoon. After the wait I pull up and see that my order is bagged and ready to go. I verify 2 or 3 times asking if the baguette was in there and she confirmed. I asked, "how is that possible, it's like 2 feet long?" Her response was something to the effect of, "oh, you want a whole one!?". I respond, "yes, that's what I said at time of order". At this time she tries to give me the baguette they ate slicing for to-go orders, and asks if this is alright because if I want a full new one it would be awhile. As soon as she is finished saying this another employee is behind her with a fresh, wrapped (the other one wasn't) baguette. Good! Let me check my order before I leave the window. -- here's where it gets good I ask where is the soup? She responds, "in the bread bowl!". I go digging again and see that she dumped the soup into the bread bowl, wrapped it in waxed paper and put it in the bottom of the bag. I told her that the soup *usually* comes in a cup and you add it to the bowl once home. To that she replies, "yeah that's probably a better idea, huh? I'm a cashier, I shouldn't be back here." I hand the mushy mess back to her and politely ask for a new bread bowl and side of soup. I got it fairly fast considering we're now going on a 55 minute drive-thru wait time. What a relief to be out of there, I will continue to travel further to get better service, when this one is literally a mile down the road. read more

Walked in to order at the counter. I ordered a Cinnamon Crunch bagel and was then told to sit down. 10 minutes go by and we go to check to see the status of our order (2 bagels) and was told that the Cinnamon Crunch bagel was just sold and given to someone in the drive through. My order was definitely placed first. Clearly there are no open channels of communication at this location between the front of shop order takers and those at the back in the drive through. I see the reviews of this location are very low. I also know this is low due to challenges of opening this location in Prosper where folks can sometimes be less forgiving and also opened during the start of the pandemic. I've been back a few times in the last month or two to give them another go. Let's face it Panera isn't "gourmet" dining but they work great for something outside of the burger world and mexican food. The last 4 times I've been here I've had done in service, call in order and drive through. Each of them a success. Food was as expected quality for Panera Bread, staff was friendly and service was quick and without error. If you tried these guys prior and had a bad go around I'd encourage to give them a second or even third shot. They are working through all their problems so it seems and I'm happy to see it. They are right around the corner from me so I'd like to keep them close!!! read more

The new GM Josh is doing a great job trying to turn this location around! I had a bad experience here about a month ago with a morning pickup. I didn't leave a review but I did send a message via email when they requested a survey. Once Josh found out he immediately offered to refund and purchase us a new meal. The food is better than it has been in the past, and the kitchen staff is so much better. We will definitely continue to be a patron to this establishment. I had my mask on when I came in, only had it off because I had my smoothie.
