After a year, I had hoped this establishment would get it together. Unfortunately, after a year of being a patron, I believe yesterday was the very last time I will be eating at this particular Panera. The tomato mozzarella Panini was so incredibly salty that it was inedible, bread was completely soggy and it was sloppily made. It is very hit and miss here, you never know what you're going to get. Stopped by here tonight for the first time in a while since their prices have gone up so much. Decided to treat myself after work to a pepperoni flatbread, there's nothing complex about this order. Just a standard pepperoni flatbread and a soda. Had the feeling to check over it before I left but I've gotten it countless times before, how could they mess it up? Drive all the way home to discover it's smothered in sausage and other meats. Thought I'd just pick them off and have it since I'm starving and it should be salvageable. Wrong, they put so many all over the top and under the cheese. Don't know if the crew tonight just thought they'd be funny and mess it up on purpose, cause there's no way you can accidentally do this, but it's really ridiculous. Couldn't even drive back there to have them remake it since they were closed by the time I got home. There goes $18 down the drain, and idc if I'm being prissy. If I wanted a sausage smothered flatbread, which I wouldn't have gotten because I do not like sausage, I would've asked for it. I feel like there should be some form of compensation because charging people nearly $20 for an overcooked flatbread pizza just to have it made wrong is ridiculous. read more

UGH! I love Panera but they are definitely still working out the kinks at this one. Which is okay...since they are new. I went twice in one week, once inside and once through the drive through. First Visit: A. They have gotten way more expensive. B. Obnoxious employee in back demanding everyone to do things for her... I didn't enjoy hearing her yell for more baguettes or that someone needed to make her the soup to fill the order. Not good ambiance.The curry shrimp salad and pesto veggie soup were good but cost a total of $11! and the salad was tiny. Second Visit: 1. Drive-thru took YEARS. 2. Asked for baguette... didn't get it - which is my favorite thing ever 3. Sandwich was sooooo poorly made. I got a classic panini which had 2 tomatoes, 1 sun-dried tomato and literally 2 pieces of greens. Slapped together and definitely did't have all components. I like the food at panera ....we go there all the time ... theyre turkey chilli is wonderful...but my last experience was not pleasant. We ordered our food at 8.45 pm by the time we got it and i was ready to enjoy my meal with my family ..this staff member come to our table saying ,we will be closing the dinning room in 5 min but the drive thru is open til 10 pm ...ok wtf ...the staff should let the customers know that the store is closing at 9 pm when ordering that late ..we would of taking the food home....i think management should look into this issue...my point if this location is open til 9 pm and your asking guest to leave by 8:55pm the emplyees working the counter should give you the heads up ....not very welcoming move ..... read more

So disappointed! Opened not long ago and we've been excited to come here. We went through the drive thru. My husband ordered a pasta (I think tortellini Alfredo), but they were out. We each ordered a Mozzarella Tomato sandwich, and they were also outta the bread. We almost said nevermind but tried their other bread. I also ordered broccoli cheddar soup. We got home - and there was almost no mozzarella on our sandwiches! No joke, one half of mine had the tiniest amount. I was so unhappy, and it was so expensive, we drove back and returned them. The manager refunded it, but didn't even ask why we were returning them! Couldn't believe it. The soup was delicious, but the baguette (comes w soup) had been ripped off instead of cut off. Gave the illusion I was eating off someone else's baguette and that they probably used their hands to rip it off. Ugh. Couldn't eat it. Won't be back to this location. read more

Good tasting food, but the prices are very high for the amount of food you receive and the lack of service. No one waits on tables and you have to serve yourself by waiting in line to order and you pickup your food when a buzzer dongle that you hold goes off. This place kind of has a fancy cafeteria feel to it (ugh!) At the prices they are charging, I would rather go to a full service restaurant and get full service, larger food portions, be entertained by large screen TV's, and pay less money. The price range list in yelp says "under $10" - This is only true if your ordering one or two items and no drink. Who does that! The guy taking my order told me that the pick two items ordering prices runs from $8 to $14. They do include a free sour dough roll. The value for your money ratio is very low at this place. Went to Panera for the first time in a long time and decided to go through the drive thru since I had my 2 year old and am 8 months pregnant. The lady at the drive thru helped me figure out what I had wanted (i forgot what it was, but knew what was on it) the drive thru was very quick and the ladies at the window were very nice. I was in and out quickly and on my way home (about 10-15 min away) I got home and didnt eat my sandwich right away, but when I sat down to eat it it was still hot and it tasted perfect. My daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese and chips as well. I loved this sandwich so much I have thought about it for 24 hours straight and went and got another one from a closer location and was sadly disappointed. I live in Santa Rosa and will be making the trip to Rohnert Park to order my food there instead of from the one 5 minutes from my home. read more

Had a terrible customer service experience there with a hostess/cashier names Elisa. She was rude, unprofessional and the worst customer service ever. When I told her I was leaving because of it, she said, "Ok, fine, then, Bye!" I was so offended that I did not make a purchase and I called the manager and told her. My experience with this Panera location is that it is a class act. I've come on busy weekdays, but I always manage to get a seat by the fire. I mean, how many restaurants in Rohnert Park have cozy, crackling fireplaces in the dining area? My food was ready quickly and my order has always been accurate. Today the manager even came to my table and cleared my plate! The people who take orders at the front are friendly and efficient too. They even convinced me to get a loyalty account and they always remind me to have my little keychain card ready when I order. Everything was thrown in the bag, pieces of bread randomly scattered in. My mac and cheese was open . Love Panera but this location has some issues. They run out of bread as a side dish leaving you with chips as your only side dish option. They have rows of bread for sale on the rack but for some reason they won't cut that up to serve with soup. You have to buy their bread at an additional cost and then you can have it as a side. Also poor customer service from another staff member who made it very clear that she was "on her break" and I would have to go to the register for assistance. read more

My team was in the area for a game and put in our order at 1:30pm the day of in hopes that they would have our food ready by 7:30. Because we were planning on grabbing the food and rushing to the airport, we had little time to lose. We show up at 7:50 ready to grab and go and none of our to go orders are ready. The place was almost empty and workers were standing doing nothing. They had 6 hours to prepare our food knowing we were crammed for time. Not only did they inconvience us by making us have to wait and get airport food, they lost a large order for 20 hungry athletes. An established chain like Panera should have more pride in their service and better organization for orders made well in advance. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by Panera Bread in Rohnert Park. The location isn't the easiest to find and access but the restaurant is large and light and has free wifi. I was able to get a vegetarian southwest corn chowder - delicious and a piece of nice bread and my friend got a steak and arugula sandwich with chips and we both had drinks. I love that the food is served on proper plates and real cutlery - I just hate the waste of plastic and paper cutlery. The place was clean, someone else busses your table for you (yeah!) and all in all I would return for another meal. It is a bit pricey but it is a great option for eating half healthy in Rohnert Park. Also, someone posted that it is closed - it isn't! The Petaluma panera bread apparently is, but Rohnert Park is not! read more

Yummy but here's an idea - during lunch rush (12 o'clock sharp) on a very rainy day - maybe have an employee who can make change working at the register during drive through? Just an idea. And maybe that person could get the order correct - isn't it kinda her job to double check it?And, I know I'm really asking for too much but maybe that person could not be totally disrespectful to her co-workers? We waited in drive thru forever, ok it was lunch and raining, I get it. When it was our turn, the girl at the counter had to ask 2 different people if the change ($.29) was correct. Yes, 1 quarter and 4 pennies. My 6 year old could have done it faster. The register even told her the amount - she just had to pull out the change. Ridiculous. I was ok to chalk it up to just a bad math moment but... She handed me my food and said thank you (as in thank you come again). I asked if my whole order was there - she said "probably not". Ok...little help here my change-challenged friend? She asked her co-worker for the missing cookie which he handed to her. I told her I ordered two which she turned to her co-worker and didn't say a word to him - just snapped her fingers at him to give her another. Really? Wow. It wasn't like either of them were talking to somebody. I wish I would have gotten her name because she is one reason I won't be going back for awhile. Disrespectful all around. I ordered soup in a bread bowl (and two cookies for my kids). The soup was in a container, the bread had the top cut off but wasn't scooped out. When I got home, I had to scoop out the bowl. It was kinda like ordering broccoli cheese soup and getting some broccoli, cheese and milk all separately. Ok sure they couldn't have put the soup in the bread bowl - it would have been mushy but how about scooping out the guts and putting them in a bag? I also didn't need the extra chunk of bread - hi, I just got a big bread bowl. Oh yeah, a spoon would have been nice too. For $11 - pretty amazingly bad experience. One good unrelated to this visit note - a couple weeks ago I went inside which was pretty and surprisingly roomy. Come on Panera - pull it together. I really like Panera's food and when I saw one open close to me with a drive thru (I have two small kids) I was like, oh hell yeah BUT it always takes FOREVER. Like 15-20mins to go through s drive thru? Get it together! On my last visit I waited 20mins, no exaggeration, and got home with two hungry and screaming kids with my order messed up. Big fan of Panera.... but not the one in Rohnert Park. Went there yesterday on Sunday and we really got the looser shift at 1:30 PM Not really busy we had 1 person in front of us. It took the one cashier girl very very long to get the Order and a loaf of bread. 6 people standing in the kitchen doing nothing and a manager walking around with a coffee cup and having lots of fun with other employees. After we hit the 15 minute mark we left and drove to Panera Santa Rosa where they have excellent service and we sure like the food. read more

We were not impressed. I had a bowl of onion soup and 1/2 turkey avocado club and a small soda. My girlfriend had the cup of onion soup and a half asiago steak sandwich and a small soda. The soup was tasty although a bit salty. My sandwich was tasty but grilled only on one side and quite small (even for a 1/2.). My girlfriend's sandwich was thrown together with a minuscule amount of meat and not enough horseradish sauce to keep the sandwich from being dry as a bone. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and I was given a sandwich with lettuce and tomato on soggy white bread with literally 1 tablespoon worth of chicken salad! $7.50 for this?! On top of that, my wife ordered a toasted asiago bagel and was given a regular one. The employees here are either stupid or just don't care. I really enjoy this place. The service is good--occasionally, I encounter a server who's brusque, but most of the people who work here are really sweet and thoughtful. I get a bowl of soup with french baguette for $5.50... which to me, is way inexpensive. What I especially like is that it's quiet, and I can always sit at a booth with my computer. Much less distracting environment than a Starbucks, and the coffee is good here. They'll leave you alone, too... so you can sit and work, read, whatever for a few hours, no questions asked. (I've arrive at about 4:00, and stay until 6:00 or so.) The muzak coming through the stereo system is pretty awful! Still, I'd recommend this spot whether you're on your own or with a friend. read more
