I just cannot justify $14 for lettuce and bread. Giving up on Paneras. My wife and daughter did enjoy their meals. It just seems that I am cursed and it has become a running joke. I actually at down today to count how many Panera Bread locations I have been to; and thus far 10. Apart from one back home in Pittsburgh, I enjoyed this one enough that we came back the next day ! We were staying in Temecula for the day and came here for breakfast. I got my favorite cinnamon crunch bagel ! There was a new girl getting trained and she was super nice as was her trainer. They were really patient and spent time taking my order. I choose PB over Starbucks to support them and loved the ambience as well. With the rise in cost overall $17 for coffee and 2 pastries you would think they do all possible to provide great service to their customer. Electric outlets are covered now so you can work from their locations anymore and the service has not been the same anymore. Let me preface this by saying "people suck". We placed an order to be delivered via the Panera app this evening after a long, arduous day because, let's face it, none of us were about to cook or drive to pick anything up. That is the beauty of delivery, after all. We received a phone call stating our order had been taken by some opportunistic heathen with absolutely no regard for common decency. The employee on the phone assured us they were remaking our order and would send it our way as quickly as humanly possible. Shortly after, our food had arrived. Unfortunately, it was missing a few items and a couple were wrong, so we got back in touch with the restaurant. They apologetically refunded the items that were missing and incorrect and explained that, in the rush to get our food out promptly, since humans are fundamentally susceptible to error, mistakes were made. They took responsibility for their part and were beyond willing to make things right, and although one in our party went without dinner, that is all we really expect from customer service. Panera Bread you should be ashamed of yourself for selling this "group" size chicken noodle soup for $28. I was expecting something much bigger. Since it said it came with 4 baguettes I assumed it was 4 servings. It barely fed myself (just a small cup), my 5yr old, and my 2yr old. It was mostly broth. This was ridiculous for that price. I am really disappointed. I would of been better off ordering two bowl size servings. It would of probably been about the same and cheaper. If you are thinking about ordering the group size, you are better off getting chicken noodle soup from Vons deli, same size for almost a third of the price! read more

Went to Panera Bread across from Costco here in Temecula and ordered their Broccoli Cheddar soup and two chicken cordon blue stacked toasted sandwiches baguette. The soups I must admit were great, however, the sandwiches only had some chicken with some kind of soggy white sauce. It had nothing else, no lettuce, no tomatoes, no other kind of greens nor cheese. I asked they remove the Black Forest Ham since this past Friday was a no meat eating day. With that, the cost of my sandwich was $14.89. I bought two of them (for family) and based on the picture advertised it looked good! When I got home to my surprise the sandwich was practically empty of everything OR anything that was advertised including barely any chicken.....AT ALL. I am truly disappointed at Panera Bread cheating customers on take out. This place is "cheap" in serving appropriately what is advertised! It is in appropriate cheating customers. I'm not surprised Panera Bread would do this sort cheating behind the counter on their sandwich servings. read more

Scary! The bacon on my take out sandwich was RAW!! Cold & uncooked. As if that wasn't bad enough, the tomatoes were past their prime & mealy. Had to pull them off the sandwich as well as the bacon. Sliced apple appeared to have been sliced during morning prep as it too was inedible & brown this evening. I even asked that the apple be fresh as I had this problem more than once in the past. I have a member subscription, so I go to Panera often to get coffee. They have great salad selections. I got Cobb salad today. The dressing is so yummy. Service is good always at counter and curb side pick up. The membership is free for me for over a year. I think it is a great system as a business to keep giving me a free membership, so I stop by for free coffee and spend some money for bread and more sometimes. read more

Perfect lunch for four at an affordable price. The broccoli cheddar soup was very tasty and was a nice compliment to the Caesar salad. The turkey avocado, bacon sandwich was a winner piled high with ingredients. My only disappointment was the lack of meat in the steak and cheddar sandwich. I've been going to Panera for years and am super excited to have a brand new one opening near me in the French Valley area. But I am giving this location a bad review due to lack of service. I came here late Saturday afternoon to grab a late lunch. This location does not take cash and I knew that because there is a sign on the door. When I went in, it was not busy and there was only 1 group ahead of me placing an order for about 4 people. After the group had placed their order and were getting ready to pay, the customer asked what some new pairings were that are like the Pick 2 but that have no options and you must get it the way it's offered but it is cheaper, so the customer changed her order all over again. I had already been waiting a while because one of the girls in their group didn't know what to order and it took her time to figure it out, but no big deal as I was not in a rush. Then finally they're going to pay and the cash register has an issue with the customer's phone number and it's not accepting it. So the cashier calls over the manager to help her out, which he does at another register, but now the cashier has to re-enter the entire order again to get the phone number to be accepted. I know for a fact that cashier had seen me standing there waiting and she could have asked her manager to please ring me up, but she didn't. She just ignored me. Now granted, I could have used the kiosk, but I had questions. When I heard the cashier tell the customer she was going to have to re-ring her whole order, I walked out and left. I went somewhere else to get my late lunch. So disappointing that this cashier could have done something and didn't. Hopefully the new location in French Valley will be more focused on providing great service. read more

Food was so great! However one of the workers was so rude to me! They said my order was ready and handed me my food and my drink, however when I got to my table I noticed my drink was wrong. So I had gone back up there and politely asked the younger man that he handed me the wrong drink and he said he would remake mine. Watch out when you get a drink at this Panera. There are fruit flies all around the drink bar, and into the seating areas. That means every time you are drinking something from there, you are drinking fruit fly flavored drinks. Theyknow about it,how could theynot, because I saw an employee at the fruit drinks swatting them away. And do nothing about it. Wow. We are equal to third world standards at this place, it's in violation of the health code, and if an inspecter sees these fruit flies all around the place, they will either be shut down until they clean up or they will be fined. Customer service sucks! It doesn't matter if you order prior they give away your cookies and refuse to fix their mistake or offer a refund. Instead they force you to substitute for a different kind or entirely don't make another fresh batch. So you are out of luck on a refund and out of luck on what you want. Stopped to grab a bite at the end of a drive home from Mammoth Lakes. Had not been at a Panera's for a long time. I was not dissatisfied, I ordered a beef and cheddar sandwich. They use some horse radish sauce with gave it a nice taste. My wife got a half turkey sandwich with a salad. She was very pleased with both oft hem. It came with a baguette. Since indoor dining was closed for covid we couldn't eat inside. But there was a nice outdoor eating area for us to enjoy. The staffed were very friendly and accommodating. The self-order kiosks are pretty helpful if u know what u want & u don't feel like talking to anyone I ended up getting the pick 2 : corn chowder soup (very good!) & the Mac & cheese with salsa & avocado (very good as well!)
