While the foods were decent, the price was kind of steep for a sandwich shop. For 2 meals, my sister paid close to $30. As far as the service goes, they need to plan the dessert pick up better. They gave me a slip and informed me that whenever I'm ready for it, just grab any one of them and give them the slip. THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST GIVEN ME MY DESSERT FROM THE BEGINNING!!! I waited well over 15 mins standing in front of the dessert show case. Sure they were busy with folks ordering from the menu. At least acknowledge me and let me know you will be right with me. They all avoided eye contacts with me. One of the employee grabbed a cookie and avoided me immediately when I tried to flag her down with my little dessert slip. I finally stepped in and asked if I may have my dessert bc I've been waiting for a while. Of course the rude gal responded by saying, " what do you want?" Like I am a huge inconvenient to her. I have a problem with employees speaking in poor manner to a customer. What she should have said was, "I apologize about the long wait, what may I get for you." Just a suggestion to management, give dessert as they are ordering it, otherwise do not up sell it. I felt bad for this other man who was waiting for his cookie to give to his son, while his wife and newborn stood there wondering why is it taking so long. I am torn how to review this restaurant- I've read the previous reviews and will agree- it is a BUSY location, especially during the lunch hour rush. Long lines and all the tables are filled. With that being said, I have ordered from here on two separate occassions (to-go) and I received my food fairly quickly with no issues. With that being said, my bread (both times) was pretty hard, it seems they are using day old bread. Not fresh at all. Secondly, I ordered the Turkey BLT (both times) and the first time, it was super good! The second time, it seemed like a completely different sandwich with loads of mayo (yuck) and regular store-bought sandwich bread, not the thick ciabatta. The restaurant definitely needs a clean-up, tables are dirty. read more

Unless you are doing an online order, don't bother. They seem to prioritize their online orders over any other order. I wish I were exaggerating when I say I waited for 30 minutes and saw over 60 online orders filled but only 5 take out orders. Even those eating in had to wait for 20+ minutes. I order through panera for work a lot, and every time is easy and satisfactory ! They deliver on time, never have made a mistake on an order (and we do large orders), and they are always super friendly. I usually interact with the catering lady who is on top of her game and super friendly and helpful! When I go to pick up orders the place looks really clean and orderly . I have never eating IN this location so i cant speak to a few things. My business is very happy with this panera and have no intentions of going/ordering from other places. read more

Food is OK, service is nice. I don't "get" the requests for tips for the staff who stand at a cash register, tap a key to put my order in, and take my money. This is my second time to Panera ever, both at this one, and the people are so nice and the food is soooooo good! The chose two deal seemed reasonably priced but out total seemed a bit high. Maybe that's just us, I'm not sure, but the food was well worth it! It was jammed packed at 1 pm on a workweek day so it took us a bit to get out food. However the food is good though, I don't suggest getting the iced green tea. It just tastes weird. But other than that, it's great, the food is pretty good and I will definitely be returning! read more

I work right across the street from this location. I go to panera almost everyday, it's an addiction to me now. I either get a chipotle chicken panini, French onion soup, or pasta primavera which is my favorite. It's always delicious and never messed up. The green tea is so wonderful that I crave it all the time. If they sold gallons of it I would buy it. The staff is super friendly and always are smiling... Except sometimes in the morning but I feel you morning people, if we were open that early id be dead. anyways I love panera and this location never disappoints!! read more

I absolutely love the atmosphere in Panera Bread =) The interior decorations and artwork is awesome!! And the food is soo yummy!! Kinda pricey to go on a regular basis, but really good! My favorite so far is the Turkey Artichoke Panini =) Delicious!! If you havent been to Panera Bread youre missing out! I love eating at panera. The food is simple and tasty and I always leave full. That being said I've been to many of this chains locations and this SouthCenter location has by far the best service I've yet encountered. From the lady at the counter being helpful as well as friendly despite the rush, to the gentleman who kindly cleared our plates for us. I was amazed at the level of teamwork that I saw to make this location run smoothly. I most certainly look forward to coming back to this location again. read more

Although the food may be delicious the service and friendliness of the staff is so horrible other than two woman one named Kiona and the other named Wesley, and a man named Miguel those three are my absolute favorite and make my visit bearable or else I probably wouldn't go, and that's why I gave them only 2 stars. If I didn't like their food so much they would have gotten 1 star. I am a very frequent regular customer and I get dirty looks, hear whispers everytime I turn my back. When you order your food make sure you have absolutely everything you will need for your food put in right then or else if you were to ask them for it when you are picking up your order prepare yourself for huffing and puffing and unfriendly service that will truely make you feel uncomfortable to the point where if you check your order and they forgot something that you DID ask for when you originally placed your order and the teller forgot to put it in you don't even want to ask and if you do you hear this "you didn't order that" when you DID and for a regular you would think they would want to be as accommodating as possible and if you are a new customer you won't want to come back. So in my opinion they either need to make it mandatory to smile or hire actual friendly people that are people persons and enjoy what they are doing or at least know how to fake it. Terrible service! I ordered a chicken avocado melt, waited 15 minutes; sandwich came out without any avocado. I brought it back to the counter and was told they're out of avocado. The cashier offered no apology, but asked if I wanted a different sandwich. While I was waiting for the second sandwich another customer sitting next to me got her order for same chicken avocado melt sandwich with lots of avocado. I went back to counter and asked to speak with manager. She came out and repeated that they're out of avocado. Still no apology. Why didn't they tell me they were out of avocado earlier and not even have the courtesy to apologize for wasting my time?! I asked for my money back including tip and left. read more

Words cannot describe how SLOW the workers are here! I've came here three different times and each time it was just a terrible experience. The first time was me and my mom came here for coffee around noon and it took 15 minutes for them to give us our coffee. They didn't put whip cream on top and there was caramel sauce all over my cup, disgusting! We went there during a peak time so I understood why it took so long but the other two times I was here, there was no exception for the wait time. The next time I came here with my friend and we waited 30 minutes for 2 caramel lattes in a mug. 30 MINUTES!!!! The lady gives us our drinks and in to go cups even though we specified to put them in mugs and we waited another 10 minutes for her to bring out. She apologizes and explains how they ran out of coffee beans so that's why it took so long to bring out. When she brings me my drink, there is about an inch of room in the mug so I got less for what I paid for. And lastly the 3rd time I came here, I placed a mobile order for 8 am because I had to get straight to work and wanted a quick bite. I get there at 8 and my food was not ready and had to wait an additional ten minutes for them to prepare (and they were moving so slow too.) I really love panera bread but this location seriously needs to work on their customer service and reducing customer wait time. I'm done with going to this location unless they decide to hire some people that can do their job fast and efficiently. read more

This Panera Bread is located near Southcenter, in the shopping plaza by Nordstrom Rack and Kohl's. After trying unsuccessfully to get into the IHOP in the same plaza, which was insanely packed, we decided to try Panera instead. They have a breakfast menu, but said they were no longer serving breakfast, even though it was barely 11 on a Saturday morning. That was disappointing. I knew this wasn't McDonald's (because of the prices for one thing) so I thought breakfast might still be doable. Sooooo... on to the other food options since breakfast was not being served. I got a Chipotle Chicken sandwich. It's on toasted French bread with the grill marks, and had bacon and melted cheese along with the chicken, which definitely had a bite to it. It was a pretty yummy sandwich, although certainly a little on the smaller side. Not cheap either at almost $8. We also got a Cinnamon Roll and Pecan Roll to satisfy the sweet tooth. I would have liked them to be warmed. They were OK, just OK. What this place does have going for it is the atmosphere. It's relaxing with really nice quiet music. The coffee is excellent. They do need to do a better job of bussing the tables more promptly. Several of the ones I wanted to sit at were dirty, and they weren't being cleaned anywhere as quickly as they should have been considering the customer volume. So all in all, OK. But I am not sure I would go back. read more

After reading a bad review about another Panera in the area, we went to this one on the way to the Airport. We came at the busiest of times, but they were well-staffed and everyone was clearly working hard. The young cashier was wonderful. We did have to wait a while for our food, but in all honesty, if they had more help they'd be tripping over each other. And the Manager apologized for the wait. Really, if we went to another restaurant we'd have to wait too, so no big deal. The lunch was fantastic, just what we've come to think of Panera. read more

This site needs some serious customer service coaching. Went to the restaurant to get dinner for my grandchildren. My grandson loves their bread bowl. Even though it was hot outside he wanted the bread bowl with chicken noodle soup. Now, it should have been obvious that it's the bread bowl that he mainly wanted. After paying for the order and waiting for my take-out I was advised that they had no bread bowls and could give him some bread to eat with the soup. When I said "no" that would not do I was advised that I would have to speak to the manager if I wanted a refund. I said OK but I didn't know what I had done that required me to speak with the manager. The manager took her sweet time about coming out of the office. I already had a disappointed child on my hands and Panera's staff made a "not good" situation worse. Danielle, the manager wanted to put the refund on a card and I advised her that I had paid in cash and would like cash back. I gave her my receipt which she took and went to the back. She returned, went to the cash register, and gave me and shorted me on the refund. I told her that it seemed that I was being treated badly because they did not have what I ordered. So long story short - if you order at this Panera and they do not have what you want they must expect you to just take what they want to give you. read more

I like Panera, but not this location. It's messy and lacks in customer service and employee knowledge compared to other Panera locations I have visited (I prefer Redmond and Kent Station to this one, hands down). The employees are young and often not trained. I got a to-go order last week and they literally put the sides of bread in the bag, on the bottom, not wrapped or anything. Just plain bread, that was hard and stale. That's definitely not sanitary and we had to throw them away. read more

Normally I love spending time at Panera but this location is simply filthy. Dirty carpet, dirty booths, dirty tables, dirty walls, dirty windows. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Gouges in the walls, ripped carpeting, damaged tables, ripped seat cushions, and ugh, the bathrooms are horrible! Like a bus station bathroom, really. For its age, it's really in bad shape. I will not be returning ... I felt like I couldn't touch anything at all in the store, and it made me wonder what the kitchen condition was, really! Although the food was good, the place was extremely busy and appeared short staffed. The woman that took my order, Abby seemed to be extremely stressed out from the very beginning because of the line of customers waiting to order. So stressed to the point that she was actually unprofessionally sweating excessively through her grey blouse.
