Nothing in life is free. Wrong! Panera bread is actually offering unlimited FREE coffee all summer long. You can get any size, any flavor once up to every two hours, with unlimited refills while you're in the café. While you take advantage of their coffee deal you'll probably give them a little revenue and pair your coffee with one of their bagels, sweet treats or sandwiches. The menu has plenty of options to choose from. Panera Bread Company is an American chain store bakery-café fast casual restaurants with over 2,000 locations providing an incredible consumer value offer. To activate the offer, you need to sign up for MyPanera+ Coffee. The unlimited drip coffee program is usually ~$9 per month, but Panara is waiving their coffee program membership fees until September 7. There are several options for their free freshly brewed coffee including; light roast, dark roast, Columbian decaf, and hazelnut. I had an iced coffee today and now I'm looking forward to my next visit. Salute!

I stopped in for a bagel My Everything Bagel was good. It was toasted and salty, and with the cream cheese I included made for a good small breakfast. The bagel is not a tough boiled NY bagel but is more bread style. The cream cheese came in a couple of small containers where I could better control how much to use, which for me was all of it. A real knife was included on my tray, much better than trying to use a plastic knife to do the spreading. Many of the reviews mentioned a lack of cleanliness. I made it a point to look around and thought the place was relatively clean. It was still early but I thought they were off to a good start for the day. I suspect I'm in a small minority, but I find ordering at a Panera not as obvious as other places. I arrived where no manned register was open, and no customer was waiting to order. Where do I stand? When one register freed up I was not called over, the order taker instead kind of just walked around like there was something else she needed to do other than take my order. I guess she couldn't figure it out, and finally called me over a minute or so later. This Panera also had signs pointing to kiosks as another option for do it yourself service. I should embrace technology. Pick up was at another counter, typical for Panera's. I went there and waited, it was not at all busy, and the bagel was ready and placed on the counter in just a minute or two. Even though I had to give my name when I ordered, it was not used when the order was completed. Is that my order? Obviously yes, just say my name when you set the order down please.

The food was consistently good at this location; however, the restaurant was quite messy and the layout was not ideal when busy.

They raised their prices and reduced their portions. Better places now in the area. Won't be going back.

You can find something on this menu that you're going to love. Bread is fresh and so are the deli meats and all the toppings from green pepper to banana peppers to lettuce, tomato and spicy oil and vinegar dressing you'll put together a perfect sandwich. We had two different ones the Italian with the hot capicola, which was perfectly spicy and loaded with meats. The second sandwich was a ham, cheese and salami with lettuce, banana peppers, tomato, onion, all the fixings and that hit the spot too. We had two 8 inch subs and nothing was left. We also had chips on the side And that added to making the sandwich a perfect lunch combo. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because parking is extremely limited and in the back. If you don't know this deli, you wouldn't know where parking is but if you drive around the back, you'll see a very small parking lot and an entry into the deli. Staff is friendly and super helpful if you're not sure what to get. The place was crowded at lunchtime on a weekday with plenty of regulars, they know a good thing when they taste it. I'm looking forward to coming back into town to try something different since the menu was so vast it just means I have to come back again and again.

I started with the avocado sliders, which were so flavorful! And, as always, I got my favorite Thai chicken salad. The rice noodles that top it give it that extra kick. The portion is always huge. I took some with me. There is inside and outside seating. They have some outside tables under trees, which keep it tolerable even on a hot day. I sat at the bar and chatted up the bartender. One of the waitstaff recognized me. So nice! I highly recommend visiting here!

It's also located in the oldest building along US 41 between Venice and Tampa, built in 1923 and once home to the first bank and post office in Sarasota County. Definitely a fun bit of history you don't expect with your meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with shaded outdoor seating and a cozy, bright indoor dining room. While they offer plenty of gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, I went for the classic corned beef Reuben on marble rye with a side of organic, gluten-free mac and cheese. Both were excellent, and the clear dietary labels on the menu were a nice touch. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're looking for great food with healthy options.
