Theses guys suck . Take you 2 months for a bulk adam pick up and maybe you will get your trash picked up.

We have been with this company for over two years now and they have been very good at our trash pick up. The price is very reasonable and the guys do a great job when they empty the cans, they place them back where they were at with the lid down, not just thrown back. The ladies in the office are always very nice and friendly and help out the best way they can. I highly recommend this company. read more

I switched service to this company cause of price. But after switching they started with the nit picking. Everything must be inside 2 trash cans. If its a heavy bag on the ground they won't touch it. If you have bulk items they only pick up bulk items once a month..I never had any limits on how many trash cans or bags I was allowed to put out with there competition nor had any issues if I stacked bags on the ground. If I need bulk items picked up by there competition I just call and its picked up on that trash day not a month later. They don't even supply trash cans like they use to they want you to pay fpr them now. And there price is almost the same as there competitors now. So what's the benefits of staying with this company. Ohh and to add if your late on a payment theres no communication by this company they just let your trash sit there. This company needs to do better by there customers. read more

The people that work here are nice but that is all. We have been using them for two years and our trash is consistently picked up a day or two later than what is scheduled. It sits out in front of our house and is embarrassing having our neighbors stare at the trash or smell the stink bc we have birds. I honestly would not care if they were late and communicated with us. They even tried a little and had everyone sign up for a notification system to alert ppl when they are late but it's been months and they haven't alerted us and are still late. I would rather pay a higher price than have to deal with trash that is unpredictable on pick up it's so frustrating seeing my neighbors trash who uses apple valley be consistently picked up but ours sits out for days. While we would love to support you we are thinking about changing it is getting pretty ridiculous. I really think you all should raise prices and hire more reliable ppl if you can't meet demand bc you are upsetting a lot of ppl who want to support you. You also need to notify your customers bc it is not fair to us to let our trash sit on the curb for days or weeks not knowing when your gonna pick up. If you're looking for a cheap trash service these guys are the ones. Office staff is friendly! Service is ok not consistent. Had most of my rentals through them but have been canceling over the past few months. A bit frustrated with several promises of refunds due to billing errors and never receive the refunds due to me! Not sure I would recommend unless you have tons of time to waste to constantly call them for either missed services or billing issues! They are quick to bill you but you never get the money owed to you if you're billed in error! read more

Horrible company. They tout they are cheaper, and they are. But you give up service. They miss a lot of people in my neighborhood week by week. And if you quit their service you won't get a refund. Take a look at the BBB and you will see how crooked they are. The phone person is nice, but is just full of excuses when you call. The best one for me was they didn't pick up my garbage because there was loose garbage. Not so, there was a 95 gallon linner in it. Overall, they just don't care and are really lazy. All they care about is slamming Apple Valley Waste. They have sent us surveys asking their custimers to slam APV. I just paid for a new month so I have to stay with them to get my money's worth. Their service and communication are very poor. In the first several weeks of service, they missed two pick up and picked up at 5:10a on another day. I was assured by one of the administrative assistants that I could use my own can instead of their huge one. It was placed where they want it to but was told by another admin assistant that I didn't have a can out there. Yet it was exactly where we agreed it to be. It's obvious that they do not have effective communication within their small office. In my opinion, they have very poor customer service and internal communication. I just heard the Panhandle Dumpster guys outside and I realized I hadn't taken the trash out. I ran outside and took my trash to the end of the driveway. They were already passed me. But when they saw me come out with my can, they came right back and took my trash. I apologized for taking it out late. The man gave me a sincere "no problem sir" and wished me a good day. We switched from the "other" company to panhandle dumpsters and I have to say I have not regretted it at all. They are communicative, and responsive. We even had to get a dumpster for a project we had at our home I called them and we had our dumpster within two days. The rolloff team was phenomenal they placed the dumpster exactly where I needed it it was convenient and easy to set up. I called them today to have the dumpster picked up and they are making arrangements to have it picked up as soon as possible. The driver who delivered the dumpster was extremely courteous and professional when he contacted me in regards to where the dumpster needed to be placed I was at work and wasn't able to be home at the time of delivery he did exactly what we needed him to do I would definitely use again. read more

I have had a good experience with this company. They respond quickly to messages and emails and provide discounts for Seniors and also if you pay for the entire year. The large yellow trash can comes in handy. They did miss pick up one time but when I messaged them they got it the next day. I really wish I could give them 0 stars. Let me start by saying when I first joined in 2020, they were wonderful. Since we moved from Inwood to Gerrardstown, our service has basically came nonexistent. They come when they want to. I let them know our trash can haf been hit by a car, asked if we could get another one, I was told no. Then was told my bill had not been paid, but I offered bank statements and they said that wasn't needed. So long story short, we have canceled service and will be going to AVW. read more

We switched from Apple Valley to Panhandle because of their lower price. It was a mistake! We have been with Panhandle for 4 months and the have have had pick up issue 3 times. The latest issue is that my trash (and my neighbor's) has now not been picked up for two weeks (cans have been out on he street the entire time so they've had ample opportunity). My account is paid up and my can was on the street the day before my scheduled pick up so. They completely ignore any email or phone call. I have left 4 phone messages and written two emails in the last week all of which have so far gone unanswered. Obviously my next call will be to Apple Valley, yes they are more expensive but they are reliable. read more

i am so upset with this company!!!!....I did not receive a bill for August. They sent me an email saying they were gonna cancel my service so i got online to make a payment as i ususally do and when i tried logging in it said my email was invalid. i tried 4 times and then got locked out of my account because it kept saying invalid email. I tried calling 4 times and left rude messages but NO ONE will call me back!! i emailed them 3 times and they wont even answer my emails!!... I switched to Panhandle Dumpsters from Apple Valley due to the price. Our trash service began in the middle of March. Since March, our trash day was moved on Week 1 from Monday to Tuesday, and we weren't notified. I called Panhandle and told them, and the customer service person told me that she would let the driver know that for the next week we would have an extra can. Next week rolls along and the driver wasn't notified that we had an extra can, and they only not picked up the trash late, but the extra can was left there. Called customer service again, and got it straightened out. Our trash is NEVER picked up on time. They tell me it's Tuesday ( I called and verified last week), but the trash sits out until late, late Wednesday. This week the trash truck was in the cul-de-sac on time (miracle!), and didn't even pick up our trash. Trash wasn't picked up on Wednesday either, so this morning I take my old self down the driveway and roll back the trash can, completely full and heavy. There is never any communication via email, website, or phone that our trash isn't going to be picked up. Every week it's the same thing, and I'm tired of it. I would be okay with it if someone were to email or call me, but nope, nothing, and it's been three months of the same substandard service. So for picking up our trash on time, for a percentage, I would give them 10% reliability. It's not worth the savings if you can't deliver on time. I would rather pay more and go back to Apple Valley than play these shenanigans with the trash every week. And we have a great Veteran discount, and this point I don't care about cancelling the service. the only reason I gave this review a 2 star instead of a 1 star is because I didn't want to bring down the average rating because I know they are trying, but you need to try harder. Communication is the key to maintaining good business relations and keeping customers happy. Read this! Follow-up 6/16/ 2:20 PM-Called Panhandle Dumpsters today to find out why they didn't pick up our trash, and I was told that our account hasn't been paid, had a balance of over $70. Checked our online account, and all the checks were there, cashed. Called the bank and got copies of the checks (front and back), and the checks were endorsed and cash by Panhandle Dumpsters with their account number on the check. The checks were also received ahead of the due date and cashed on time. Sent an email to them telling them that someone is not cashing their checks for 3 months and sent them PDF copies of the checks from the bank. And I got penalized because apparently someone in their department apparently is embezzling money. They did email me back and confirm that they see the checks were cashed and that my balance is now zero, and they apologized. Too little too late. Done with the freaking nonsense with this company and going back to Apple Valley Waste. So changed the review from 2 star to 1 star. If 0 starts were available, I would have selected that rating. Do not waste your time with this trash company. Cheaper is definitely not better. Spend the extra money with a company that is dependable, trustworthy, and communicates well with their customers. We are a new customer and already have had a missed pickup after our trash day was shifted from Wed to Friday. Whatever, whomever decided to shift days, let me say there is something to be said with if it ain't broken don't fix it. If you paid for someone to come up with this change, shame on you because apparently we are going down the exact same path we did with Apple Valley. I was hoping to have better service but apparently reliability is not a priority. Shame we have to rely on private companies rather than a municipal run service. The funny thing is in the short amount of time using panhandle dumpsters I wasn't mad about it. For the most part, they picked up when they said. Then suddenly, a couple weeks ago our trash didn't get picked up. This was due to an accident. When I called I was assured my trash was gonna get picked up same day. It never did. Then, today, I read a post from the company on our community Facebook page that they will no longer service our area. Giving us one week's notice. Had they given us a month's notice, I wouldn't be inclined to leave this review. But the short notice, with no direct email, right at the start of the holiday season, is not appropriate. read more

trash has been missed several times...this Wed I put the trash out at 330 am, previously have been told to have it out before 6 am, now,miraculously it's before midnight. why? because this time at 1 am on Wed they came to pick up my trash because now apparently they run 24 hours a day so technically midnight and after is when they will pick up. news to me. we work the night shift and never had this particular issues...ever. when I asked about canceling the lady interrupts me and yells at me to just call her when I'm ready to cancel....well ok then. read more
