Ahhh crap, now I have to come back at another time. Ok, this gets better. Over a few weeks, this stupid car wash was down for maintenance. I believe I stopped by 2x per week to try and use the car wash. I believe I tried to go to this car wash for 3 weeks. Ok, COVID 19 pandemic hits and car wash isn't that much of a priority. Fast forward to today, April 16, 2020. I decided to fill up my car and finally use the car wash. I paid for gas and my hubby went in to see if this code is active or to see if he needs a new code to use the car wash (I had already paid for in mid Feb). The lady who worked the register was annoyed because we interrupted her smoke break. She proceeds to tell hubby that the car wash ticket is only valid for one month. WHATTTTTT?? There was absolutely nothing stating this on the receipt. She could have honored this car wash, but chose to be rude about it. It's not the amount that matters, but the principle behind this interaction. I will not buy any gas or car washes from this poorly run Circle K gas station ever again. Her demeanor was crappy and unprofessional. Forget it. No more. I will take my business elsewhere.

As i leave, i never get a "have a nice day" or a "thank you" or even a "bye". Im not sure if these women have never been trained in customer service but they shouldnt be working with the public. So, I used this gas station to drop off my Uhaul after traveling cross country as they also act as a drop off/rental. I was exhausted, and had forgotten to sweep out the back, which comes with a charge. The owner came out to inspect and pointed out that it wasn't swept. Instead of just charging me, he offered to grab the broom and dustpan for me to use to avoid the charge. Every time I returned for a full up, I have seen him out there sweeping or maintaining the facility in one way or another. I go out of my way to stop here for convenience purchases and to fill up on gas. Never had a bad experience. Gonna mention him claiming his business here so he can get the rating he deserves since taking this store and making it reputable. :)

I have switched to the on-line pharmacy through my insurance, Centerwell who are amazing. I only use Walgreens if I need something instantly. When my husband went to pick meds up at about 5:30 he was told 1 was out of stock, 1 was ready and 2 were waiting. The one that was not available was the antibiotic I really needed. So for for 4.5 hours it never occurred to anyone in the pharmacy to call me and lmk they did not have that one in stock. So by now it is 6:15. Walmart Pharmacy closes at 7:00. I have to call the ER, explain this snafu to them. Request that they send a new order for the antibiotics to Walmart. By now there are 27 minutes to work in and I did not get the ONLY medication important. No wonder they pull in 1 or 2 stars. Absolutely worthless, unprofessional, non-thinking mouth breathers. I will absolutely NEVER use them again. There is no thinking on their feet. There is one lady working there who actually has a handle on everything. That is Jackie. No one else is worth dealing with. Even the pharmacist was a major disappointment. PHARMACISTS know medications, but when I went to their little consultation window to ask him about my concern over a drug interaction his answer was "ask your doctor". Seriously? We shared with him that we are frequent customers of other Armanettis (and he says he owns 9) although he claimed "you don't shop at my stores, you're playing games." When my husband asked if our money is not good enough for him, he said "Yes, that's what I'm saying." Never again. I hope this guy goes out of business. I'm making some other calls.

But is one of these 'good things' the 66 Station? That remains to be seen (or read) so read on.. The '66 Station' offers Gas, Ice, Beer - Wine - & Liquor, Sodas, Chips & Snacks, a few Auto-Products, Cigars, Cigarettes, plus Scratchers & Lottery. It is run by a very nice young Indian Couple who trade off taking care of the station and taking care of their kids at home. I NEVER see anyone else working here but them. The Beer & Wine selection here is limited to two refrigerated cases for the Hops-Beverages, and two store shelves plus a small cooler for Wine. Expect the wines to be off-brands, discount-brands, and the occasional overpriced bottle of not-too-embarrassing stuff. The Cigar selection is surprisingly good, but the Cigarette selection is pretty common, accept for one exotic brand, Djarum Clove Cigarettes, which I smoke so they buy them. Moving on to the Hard Liquor, this small 66 convenience store offers 3 entire shelves of it, plus two extra case displays. And the price on the liquor is not bad - even on the bottles of high-end stuff. Overall this is a friendly place, that feels more like a small-town barbershop than it does like an impersonal gas station store. Don't expect to find sandwiches or samosas here, or even milk. But if you are looking for what they have, the experience will seem very "family" driven. Also, this is the fist place south of Terra Cotta Blvd that offers alcohol.
