This is my first time leaving a review on anything. I just wanna give praises to the manager Trey at this location. This was going to be a negative experience but he went above and beyond to make it right! Me & my family really appreciate it. We have definitely had more negative experiences with delivery in this area than anywhere else but Trey saved the day. This papa John's location under Trey's management is how you keep and gain new customers he knows customer service at the highest level! In my lifetime I never thought I could have bad service or food from Papa Johns. From this place I've had both. My large pepperoni pizza was still raw in the middle and who ever sliced it, didn't even do it correctly. It was like they just trace lines on my pizza and there was no actual cuts. I could literally fold it into a calzone, that's how bad it was. My garlic knots were also messed up. I put in the notes I wanted garlic sauce and not marinara sauce, still got marinara sauce. Talk about a crapshoot. We walked in and went to pay with a 50 in cash, which I guess is against capitalist dystopian rules, because they wouldn't accept it. We literally couldn't pick up our food. Mysteriously, it says nothing about this on the Papa John's website, so we wasted our time and gas driving out here. The cashier was a teenage girl that held up the 50 in the face of another teenager, who I assume was the manager? And he just shrugged and said "sorry, don't take anything over 20's." I said that's all we had, and the girl looked at him with 'we can clearly accept this' eyes, and he just shrugged again and told us to go to an ATM and come back. Long story short, we went to Pizza Hut where they just held it up in front of a light to verify it, which anyone who's ever worked in retail knows you can do. Ordered A gluten-free 10 inch pizza. The pizza came out burnt and I ordered four side sauces. There were two sauces on top of the box and I asked where the other two were and they said that they were in the box and I went home and open the box and they weren't there. Really disappointed with our order tonight and this was not the first time. Our last experience was not the greatest but we decided to give them another chance. Pizza sauce was bland and seemed like half the toppings were missing. The crust was doughy and seemed way under cooked. I ordered a regular Mt Dew for my wife and they sent a code red. When I called I was told they ran out and "improvised" by sending it. When I told the young lady no one in our house would drink it she didn't care. The Lake Stevens location appears to have stolen my tip. Made a huge pizza order for delivery to my sons birthday party. Somewhere along the way, Papa Johns switched it to Door Dash delivery. My dasher texted that she was on the way and that tips are greatly appreciated. I asked where my $20 tip originally sent to the Papa Johns delivery driver went. She didn't know and showed me on her app that there was no tip there so I had to tip her $15 in cash (it was all I had on me) so she didn't get screwed over. Real shady Papa Johns. read more

We had a rough day and decided to order Papa Johns pizza. We have not ordered in a while. It was the worst pizza and experience we ever had. The pizza looked like someone had dropped it. Toppings were off the pizza and just in the box. Some of the pizza slices were just sauce because the toppings had slid off. We contacted the lake stevens store as soon as we opened up the box and told them how the pizza was. They said they would send another one out right away. Well 90 minutes later still with no good pizza we call back and they say that they can refund our money. Well no pizza, no refund. We will never order papa johns again. Since they started using door dash instead of their own drivers, there has been a 60% chance we will actually recieve our order, a 30% chance of the order being wrong, and 100% chance of it being cold. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had ordering food. I ordered my pizza online through the papa johns website. It was literally a cheese pizza and breadsticks! I ordered this pizza at 9:25 pm right after work. My expected delivery time was 35 minutes. Ok whatever I'll get my food soon. 35 minutes goes by....than an hour....than 2 hours....papa johns closes at 11 on sundays so Not only did I not get my pizza but at 11:37 pm I got a call from the door dash driver thinking they were open...if I could give zeros stars for this experience I would....definitely will never rely on papa johns delivery ever again read more

Papas use to be good. Now its not worth it when you order a pizza and remove a topping because someone is allergic and add another...then it comes with the removed topping. So the menu board price is not valid. After a discount they charged me $15.34 after tax. Fine. I'm surprised by the negative reviews. This is by far the best pizza place around! We recently tried to order the cheese burger pizza only find out that they no longer serve it. They (Anna ?) Not only called to apologize but they gave us extra dipping sauce and upgraded our large to an x-LG for free. The delivery people are always earlier than expected and the pizza arrives hot and yummy. They maintain a very clean atmosphere (even more spotless than when I worked there years ago) and maintains only food within the date it is still good by. We were out for the night with family, but we had recorded the Sunday Night Football game between the Patriots and Cardinals.
