I have to admit that I never really dined at Papa John's if wasn't during their all-you-can-eat pizza promo. So hooray for unlimited pizza Tuesdays! Papa John's made lots of waves when it first opened in Manila a few years ago. Being a popular American brand, I expected a lot from this pizza joint. Fortunately, Papa John's exceeded my expectations as it offered something I definitely miss about being in the U.S. Good, old, hearty American pizza. You can really taste the fresh ingredients used with every bite and they never skimp on toppings even during their promo period. One thing I'm not too keen on is their prices which are more expensive than most pizza joints in Manila. For so as long as they offer unlimited pizza Tuesday, I'm sure to be back again. Writing this review kind of makes me want to laugh as the last time I was here, I stepped in to grab some takeout before heading home from a date that I would call nothing less than a 100 percent DISASTER, with a capital D. Haha. But anyway. I was just happy to be getting some comfort food into my system as that's exactly how I'd describe Papa John's. The simply cheese classic pizza is delicious and perfect for a snack or a meal or even as party grub. Pasta is pretty decent too. read more
