The pizza with artichoke hearts.

The ambiance is old antiques. The food is mostly fresh made. The pizzas are 18 inches, so be hungry!! The service was very friendly.

I don't think yelp can even let me add as many photos as I think this place needs to truly capture how cool it is. They have an arcade, pool table, and a museum. The food is expensive on the weekends lol, but they have great deals throughout the week. I can't believe this place isn't more popular! There was no one there when we went on a Saturday night. The staff were very friendly and we got to hang a dollar on the ceiling! Really love this place and will be back!

I've worked in and around Wadsworth for many years, and to be honest, I never realized this place was actually open until this month. With my wife coming down from Idaho to visit me while working, I made it a point to come here. We were the first customer that evening 3 weeks ago, and a young man welcomed us and told us we could sit anywhere. He was too young to grab me a beer and said he called "Papa" and told him we were there. Right then I wondered what experience we were about to have. The restaurant is a plethora of memorabilia, and it kept us quite engaged while we waited for the man called Papa. If you can get there early, do so so you can take it all in before the t gets crowded inside. There we sat when a larger than life individual passed by the window. I say this with great respect, and he reminded me of Brutus from the Popeye Cartoon with the first quick glance. In came Papa and greeted us with great enthusiasm. When I asked for a Coos light, he offered a Peroni. Of course, what better to have in an Italian based place. Now, my wife asked what kind of wine he had, and he answered with "Red, White, and Pink!" I cracked up and knew then he was a no nonsense type of guy. After all, this is not your stuffy nosed place, so leave that behind and you'll thoroughly enjoy the Ranch House. I read about how large the pizza was but was blown away by the size for just the two of us. Glad the motel had a fridge to enjoy leftovers at work for two days. The prices are on the higher side, but I've come to research that Papa donated money with each sell for a cause dear to his heart. The pizza was exceptional and we enjoyed every mouth watering bite. Papa offered us to try the wings as an appetizer, but we declined and glad we did. There would be no way we could have eaten all that food. The menu offers many other choices beyond pizza, so if I get the chance to come here again, I'll try something else. Papas Ranch House, in my opinion, is well worth the stop in an unusual small town most people most likely don't know of. If you're traveling I-80, you can get on and off at two places very easily with a quick side trip. There are a ton of things to see beyond the inside of the main building, so plan on spending some time to go upstairs and outside in the back. He opens at 3:30 on Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 on Friday, and 4:30 Tuesday to Thursday. CLOSED ON MONDAYS!

Quaint little place with lotsa memorabilia and a museum up top, a place to hang outside and a pool table area while you wait to enjoy your pizza. Wish we could've tried their artichokes: maybe next time. Limited hours so call if arriving after 730pm. Hours advertised daily open at 4pm.

Good food!

Rode/drove by Papa's numerous times just never stopped. Read articles and made it a point to go. The eye candy is incredible decor of the place! App of deep fried artichokes with marina sauce and adult beverage hit the spot to start. Half pepperoni/meatballs pizza thin crust was mouth watering then desert! Yup! Cannoli and a slice of cheesecake. Nirvana! Crystal and Erika made it an enjoyable experience!

Fun pizza night! My 1st visit and I will be back. Fun and crazy memorabilia decorate this pizza restaurant. Full bar. One size pizza LARGE. It was really good with meatballs, pepperoni and jalapeños. Other choices available too including veggies. Wings, garlic bread and other menu items available. We missed Lasagna night by one night. Would like to try it when it's available. Great service, we sat at the bar. Check these guys out. I will be back.

OMG!!, What better way to end a year than with a Pizza & a Canoli, or start the year, or for that matter anytime of the year. My GF and I were in Fernley and had seen this place before but didn't try it before(huge mistake). Well we tried it this time. We ordered a Pepperoni, Sausage, Jalapeño and Onion thin crust Pizza and it absolutely delicious. The sauce was really tasty and Papa knows his stuff. Ample and tasty toppings too! We also ordered a canoli and my GF is still raving about how good it was and saying she would go there just for the canoli. The Ranch House is an Americana Museum the really has to be seen. We walked around for about 20 minutes and marveled at Papa's collection. Our timing was perfect as the Pizza was just coming out of the oven. We drove back to the Hotel room and devoured half the Pizza with a beer each and then split the canoli. If you haven't been there yet. Go ASAP, you will not be disappointed. Hats off to Papa's Ranch House. It ROCKS!

Wings!

This place was a hoot. So much to see and great food and service. Definitely worth stopping in or heading to! The pepperoni pizza was so yummy and absolutely hug! We had left overs for 3 days! What really amazed me is that the pizza just got better everyday! The parm knits and wings were great as well. Will be back to try more!

We love Papa's Ranch House. The Pizza is amazing. Crust is not too thick and it's perfectly crispy. We love taking friends there - delighting them with the ambiance of his amazing collectables and great food! Say hi to Brian, the owner when you are there.

Breakfast was surprisingly good--especially since I'm not much of a breakfast person. I ordered the Great Beginnings, and everything was on point: good-quality bacon, eggs cooked just right, and even the hash browns (which I normally don't like) were cooked really well. I also grabbed some sweet chili wings, and they were pretty tasty too. Service ok; they were kind of busy for a small restaurant. I heard they even provided food for a couple of hours on Thanksgiving, which is an amazing gesture--especially from a small, family-owned restaurant. Really impressive!

Even if they didn't, it sure as heck seemed like they did. Crepes were surprisingly good because the orange color threw me off for a moment, but omg. lol. This is definitely in the category of a hidden gem!…read more YTA (Yerington Theater for the Arts) manages this amazing old building that serves as the cultural center for the small farming community of Yerington. Inside this refurbished old grammar school is an amazing little cafe operated by YTA. I used to come to the cafe when I lived in Yerington and it was under different management. I am so happy to see that the Cafe has been revived under the capable management of Roy Enochson, the Executive Director of YTA. A friend and I decided to have lunch here recently. The Cafe is in the lobby area of the Theater and serves as a place to eat, an art gallery and a boutique for all sorts of arts and crafts most of which are locally made. The space is a bit like being in a favorite Auntie's parlor with little tables, comfy chairs and a visual cornucopia of treasures. My friend ordered the lunch special - butternut squash ravioli with a side salad. I ordered the Cafe Signature Salad - a lovely fresh blend of baby greens, apples, cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts all lightly dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette. I also had a blood orange Italian Soda. The food was all tasty and fresh. Service was vey friendly, but the food was slow coming out. It was worth the wait. Our total bill for the two of us was under $20. While the portions were not huge, the meal was satisfying and the quality was excellent. This is a definite place to stop if you are in the area. It is a fabulous alternative to the fast food and casino coffee shops that are in the area.

Which is a nice change of pace from other, full-fledge restaurants.

Late post 6/10/26…read more Another busy night but I craving wings and it was Wing Wednesday - $1 each - order of 8 pc or 12 pc ! It had been a little while since our last visit. We attempted to stop by a few times, but either I forget their closing hours or they were extremely busy and I was limited on time. Hopefully they'll consider extending their closing hours by an extra hour on select nights in the future. We ordered our usual favorites, and everything was just as tasty as I remembered. Frank took our drink order and promptly brought our beverages over, while Melina took care of our food order. Of course, I had to get my four flavors of wings! Between the wings and their delicious Caesar salad, I was completely stuffed and unfortunately missed out on one of my favorites--the Stracciatella Hot Honey Pizza. The service from Melina, Vanesscia, and Frank was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I don't get to come here as often as I used to or as often as I'd like, but so far always a great experience when I do. I'm glad to see they're still busy, serving great food, and maintaining the quality that keeps customers coming back. Highly recommended!
