Interesting concept, Mexican Asian Gastro infusion restaurant. Seating inside and outside, plenty of parking and 2 gender neutral bathrooms. Service was excellent for a large group of us, 25 people. The interior is fairly small with a bar and 2-4 TVs. The surface and turf quesadilla was delicious.

Food is enjoyable but quite pricey. Service is great every time we visit and jut a chill place to hangout. We ordered: 1) 3 dip with tortilla chips $18- we chose guac, mango salsa, queso. Queso was best out of the three 2) Butcher burritos $18- fully stuffed and hefty, not bad 3) Spicy Tuna Taco $13- if you're feeling eating something lite. Not bad; I would recommend sprinkling furikake seasoning onto the rice for some more flavor Do recommend!

BIRRIA TACOS

Jeep night at Papamigos in Coconut Creek with complimentary classic margaritas and the Tuesday night special $4.00 street tacos. Live DJ playing music during our stay while we watched the Florida Panthers play. Fun atmosphere inside and nice weather to relax on the large covered patio. The birria tacos were insanely flavorful with an added spicy sauce dribbled on top. The margarita with the salted rim was not visually exquisite but strong. Every Wednesday is .75 cent wings and BOGO beers. The gender neutral bathroom had brown painted cement flooring surrounded by dark blue thin wooden plank walls.

Best happy hour I've been to. First, the waitress, Sam (Samantha), an absolute doll. Sweet, personable, friendly and attentive. It was a little too cold for us inside, so we chose to sit outside, which was quiet and relaxing. I brought mom here because she kept talking about wanting Oysters. I made a great choice bringing her here because not only were they delicious. they were '75cents an Oyster. I ordered the Birria Mac Daddy Sliders and mom had the Chicken Taquitos. The sliders were absolutely amazing and huge, so I had to take the 2nd one home. My Cool Cucumber Tini was excellent and we'll definitely be coming back here.

This is a local fusion eatery, featuring Mexican, Japanese and Jamaican flavors. You could easily miss this place - it's hidden away inside a strip plaza on the border of Parkland and Coconut Creek. Great decor, ample seating inside and out, and friendly service make this place a great family outing or even a nice stop for happy hour. They were running a $5 drink special on their strawberry margarita on the rocks, and it didn't disappoint - perfect size and strength. Their pile high nachos are seriously piled high. My husband and I shared the nachos and wings, and between us we couldn't finish. The kids ordered a chicken adobo burrito platter and a shrimp tempura sushi roll to share. They ate through their meals and were satisfied. Food wasn't cheap, but the for the quality and quantity it was fair. There's no shortage of parking either. Glad we found this spot and gave it a try. I'd like to come back for happy hour to sample their their food and drink specials!

Birria taco and Irie taco

Great Mexican food! I got the Irie and Birria street tacos and both were fantastic! The Birria comes with a dipping broth which made it feel like a French dip. The pickled onions on the irie was a nice addition. The mexi deviled eggs are a MUST!! Drink- the jalapeño pineapple margarita with tajin rim was not too spicy, which was perfect for me. Service at the bar was great! Very attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. Good happy hour menu/hours!

I can only explain this restaurant as a fun place to unwind and have a few tacos with a margarita. The birria tacos were juicy and full of flavor at only $4 each too. The margarita was nothing fancy but good as most margaritas are. Tonight they had a DJ playing upbeat pop music. Hockey was my thing to watch and hang out with friends. I like all the bright wall decor especially the Day of the Dead skull heads. The red cursive saying on the wall next to the bar Always Rolling Fatty's I had to think for a second then I got it.

The onions I could get off

Unique food combination!! My only issue was the amount of onions is one bit the tacos and the ramen.. it wasn't a garnish it was it own dish

Came for dinner with a friend and it's a small little location great for happy hour and to have a chill night . The drinks were good and the food was delicious, very fresh the quesadilla was not too greasy which is great because at times that could be the concern . The guacamole was just a little different and it had chunks of hard avocado . Wouldn't order again . But the food was great , and service staff was amazing !

Sushi burger

Went to Papamigos for the first time tonight and it was FANTASTIC. the food was delicious, the service was amazing and the vibes were immaculate. We got the far side wings, nachos and the sushi burger. Some of the best food I've had in a while. I can't even decide what was the best- all are must gets!!! Added bonus is that the playlist contained straight bops. No notes. Go to Papamigos!!!!!!

Birria me please! After searching for a worthy Birria taco I have found it! It was flavorful and had a nice crunch. I was scrapping the juice out the noodle cup it was so good. I was so pleased that the taco wasn't over cooked or burnt. The churro and California burrito were good as well. I would return. The service was fast as I placed my order there to go.

The place was basically empty when we walked in, and it took a while before anyone acknowledged us. Our server was friendly but barely checked on us and we even saw her vaping at the bar, which was super unprofessional. We ordered loaded nachos, a burrito to share, and two Diet Cokes. They brought out tiny 8 oz glass bottles we finished in seconds, no heads up that the fountain machine wasn't working. The food? Total disappointment. The food was cold. The loaded nachos were so salty, bland, and definitely not "loaded." Not even all the cheese was melted. The burrito was just dry chicken and plain white rice with no flavor at all. It honestly tasted like leftovers from two days ago. Overall, one of the worst Mexican meals we've ever had. Not surprised the place was empty if they keep this up, they won't be around much longer. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs!

The Day of the Dead skull theme and the neon lighting throughout provided a playful sexy mexican ambiance, which flowed into the bathrooms which displayed partially naked photorealistic women wearing Starwars ATAT Driver helmets covering their heads strategically positioned over the urinal and sinks - just a unique bathroom experience. Were in an upscale taco joint during Happy Hour and it's Taco Tuesday, so we went with the Street Tacos trio of steak bacon, baja fish and grilled chicken. Ordered three mini tacos and each fit into the palm of my hand. They were presented on a brown wooden plate and each taco sitting upright in its designated metal holder. The shells were very soft and the toppings provided a fresh vibrant appearance. Each taco was very good but one shined brighter than the others - which was the Baja Fish flavored with lime crema and cabbage slaw. They were so good we ordered another three and this time tried a different flavored hot sauce. The drink specials are incredible with $1 Margaritas 9pm - Close every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The bartender, Michelle, provided great service and anticipate a quick return for more tacos.

One thing to keep in mind is that there is an additional charge for excessive food waste, so be careful not to over-order. This policy is clearly stated on the menu. Also, while soft drinks are included with the all-you-can-eat option, alcoholic beverages are not. We ordered a variety of tacos, and every one of them was fresh and delicious. The all-you-can-eat menu also includes unlimited chips and salsa, along with churros for dessert. The only surprise came when we ordered churros. We were initially served two, but when we requested more, we were told that the all-you-can-eat menu only includes one serving of churros. Since this limitation was not indicated on the menu, it caught us off guard. Fortunately, our server was extremely kind and accommodated our request for additional churros, which we greatly appreciated. Even so, the churro restriction was unexpected and is something worth noting.

The chef said yes, made them from scratch, and wouldn't take a dime. What arrived was outstanding. House BBQ brisket, stripped perfectly for a nacho chip, which almost *nobody gets right*. Fresh queso that actually delivered. Avocado crema drizzled throughout. Cotija crumbled on top. Bell peppers adding color and brightness, and the chips held under the Fork Rule. This was a prototype. Eight chips. Not hot. Stale chips cost them points. The metal tin showed up uninvited as always, and it still scored an 8.5. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. I ordered 4 tacos, and two dessert (Plantains with cream and Churros). Total came out to $20 and some change. The quality of the food at its BEST, was simply Okay, the portions were actually ridiculous. Anyone who has eaten at a Mexican restaurant or spot knows, they love to give hearty portions enough for you to take some home. Wanna known what I got instead? I got Half of a plantain cut and fried into tiny pieces with a pea-size of "cream" squeezed into a little to-go cup. Now for $5, which is what it cost you as a customer can go to any market and get the same cream and a good 5-6 plantains and do it yourself. I got TWO CHURROS that cost me $5.99, and if you're from South Florida, you know Churromania is right there!!! For the same price you can get 12 Churros with Caramelo and Chocolate. In fact, you can also go to a market, buy the ingredients for the same price ($5.99) and make a good 60-100 churros yourself. Do you understand the outrage?! If I was the owner, I'd be ashamed to call this place a Mexican restaurant and instead I'd call it what it is: a Money Laundering scheme. The prices are outrageous for the portions and quality you are getting in return. Those same $20 I WASTED supporting a so-called small business, I could've taken to Walmart or El Presidente and made the food myself. I would've not only had some for the rest of the week, but also I wouldn't be so fucking pissed. I'm Hispanic, I've cooked and worked in Mexican restaurant. I've eaten with Mexican families who take the time, energy, and patience to carefully craft something worth eating and this is not it. I never leave a bad review, but this place doesn't deserve one star. It deserves to be shut down.
