I'll start with saying this was a one and done visit. We had a table of 10, our orders came out at different times both for food and drinks and when they did, some were wrong. My friend's order took 2 hours to come, that's crazy! You'd think they would at least comp her meal at that point but no. Also, this is the first place in the world I've been to that adds $3 when you order a dirty martini, wild..and by the way good service is mentioning by the way we charge extra for dirty martinis. And what's with the bbq table and plastic chairs at a chophouse.. After all that we got a free glass of champagne as if that was going to make up for the service. I'll say the food was amazing, seasoning on point and drinks were great too.

From the moment we walked into Paparazzi Chophouse, the ambiance immediately stood out: beautiful, upscale, and perfect for a special night out. I came here for a quick getaway and to celebrate a birthday, and it did not disappoint. Once we were seated, service was smooth from the start. Our server was friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu, which made ordering easy. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium well, and it was spot on juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. I also had a chance to try a few other dishes at the table. The blackened catfish was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing, and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection, definitely a highlight. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the mac & cheese. The flavor just didn't hit for me, and I think it would've been better without the crumbles on top. Overall, this spot delivered on both food and vibe. Great for celebrations or just treating yourself. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Dallas.

What a great experience! Located in Deep Ellum! We pulled up and valet was there to greet us upon arrival. We were a few minutes late but thankfully our party of 5 was able to still be seated. The atmosphere is sexy, dim and a DJ playing some of the greatest hits. The crowd appeared to be mostly young adults with a few seasoned folks sprinkled in here and there. So a nice mix. We were seated at a half moon table that was very comfortable for my party size. We were quickly greeted by our server for the evening and her copilot. They took our drink orders and gave us a quick rundown of the menu. We ordered not long after and the food came out pretty quickly. Everything was plated beautifully and we all seemed to enjoy our dishes. What really won me over was the great customer service and how each team member did their part to ensure each guest was served with kindness. We were celebrating a birthday girl and she was gifted a crème brûlée to celebrate. How kind! We enjoyed the evening and will most likely stop in again. If you're rolling solo they also have a bar with a few tv's to enjoy yourself or watch the game and have a drink. You'll enjoy this place I'm certain!

The vibe is energetic, and the place definitely knows who it's for. The customer service at the table is good and the food wasn't too bad.The music is... enthusiastic. Like, "we're starting the weekend on a Tuesday" enthusiastic. At first I thought, "Wow, this is loud." But then I realized -- I might just not be the target demographic anymore And honestly, that's on me. To be fair, I totally get why the music is up: it keeps the energy high, makes the place feel packed and exciting, encourages people to mingle, and probably boosts those happy hour cocktails (which were excellent, by the way). It creates that buzz that makes you feel like you're somewhere fun and happening. Restaurants often play music louder than expected on purpose. It creates a high-energy, "buzzing" atmosphere that can boost spending--especially on drinks--and encourage faster table turnover. Loud music also helps mask kitchen noise and conversations, adding a sense of privacy. However, it can backfire, as many customers find it distracting, tiring, and harder to enjoy conversation, making them less likely to return. *raises hand * Will I be back for happy hour? Sure. There's also a strict dress code and be mindful of the reservations times. Even though late reservations are available, you'll still wait on a table and be rushed. Great drinks, great atmosphere -- I'll just warm up my vocal cords before my next visit.

Seriously!!!! I wish paparazzi Chophouse was in LA. It's sooo beautiful inside and spacious! A good vibe and lounge after you eat. The food was really good and cooked to perfection!! I was able to try the roasted chicken that was soo good and fell off the bone!! The potatoes with the plate exceeded my expectations. I tried the collard greens, Mac & cheese and snapper that was cooked very well, very moist with alot of flavor. I highly suggest these items on the menu to try because I was very pleased. For my drink I had the prosecco and it was tasty!! The service was amazing the ladies at the front let us change the party size and time!! They were really nice with good personalities!! Our server was Amazing and attentive. Checked on us the entire time and made sure we had everything we needed!! 5/5 for exceptional customer service and food!! The vibe was really fun and nice!!! It is good for birthday celebrations and hanging out with your friends. Love the decor and darkness inside!! I will for sure come back here! It's located downtown and right next to all the bars and the Pittman hotel. I will come back to paparazzi when I'm in Dallas again!! -Marshay D.

If you want to go some where nice and mellow for dinner & this is the Place!! It is absolutely a VIBE!! Love the darkness in there setup is really elegant and they instantly greet you when you are seated. My server was absolutely the best. He came every second to make sure I was fine. Helped out a lot about the menu when I had questions for the drink and food, but the food was absolutely amazing. For entrée the New York strip And to top it off with momma greens. Highly recommend!

We came here to celebrate a good friend's birthday, and overall it was a great time! When we first arrived, we sat at the bar and I asked the bartender if he could make me a mocktail--he did, and it was delicious. It wasn't very busy when we got there, so we were able to relax and take in the atmosphere. The service was also great. The vibe was really nice with a DJ playing music, which added to the energy. I was a little surprised that they had hookah on a Sunday (wasn't expecting that), but it didn't take away from the experience. The food was pretty good, and after eating we headed to the lounge area. We enjoyed more drinks, danced to the DJ, and had a fun time celebrating. I'll definitely go back--the drinks, food, and overall atmosphere made it worth it. Very good vibes for a birthday celebration or night out!

Went for brunch on a Sunday and the vibes were on point!!! The music 10/10. R&B goodness! The food was superb. Everything was seasoned to perfection. I was so full from the food I didn't make it to the fruit bar or the dessert bar.. I love that it had a carving station and an omelette station. From the host to the server, everyone is very attentive. I cannot wait to try dinner, and I will definitely be back for brunch again!! Make sure you add the bottomless mimosas for $20

My husband and I were visiting Dallas and decided to make this our date night spot--and let me tell YOU, the vibes were vibing! lol The ambiance was grown, sexy, and perfectly soundtracked with the R&B and hip-hop classics I didn't know I needed. At one point, I had to stop myself from giving a full concert when Dru Hill and Jagged Edge came on. (Blame the cocktails.) Service? Impeccable. Alejandra was our server--attentive, kind, and just a tad bit too borderline dedicated to making sure we were good. Still, I appreciated her energy and hustle. Now let's talk fooood. I ordered the Blackened Catfish with Crawfish Crab Gravy over a bed of Pimento Cheese Grits. That plate didn't stand a chance. My husband had the Braised Beef Short Rib with whipped garlic potatoes, "blistered tomatoes", and a bordelaise sauce--tender, flavorful, and rich. We shared a side of Collard Greens, which brought a little soul to the table. Only critique I had was to dial back the salt a notch. Some bites were a bit heavy-handed, and the flavors didn't need all that help IMO. Overall-- 10/10 recommend. Great food, excellent music, stellar service, and a whole mood. Perfect for date night, girls' night, or when you're just in the mood to feel cute and eat good.

My coworkers had a Christmas outing here on a Saturday evening. The restaurant accepted our 10 party reservation through the OpenDoor App. We were seated in a timely fashion by the host and greeted by our friendly waiter, Andrew . The ambiance was perfect for the holidays with candles, sparkling Christmas lights and trees. I ordered the honey chicken, which came with a side of collard greens. My chicken was delicious, but my greens had an Italian flavor that tasted a little odd. I had a cocktail drink called the Bayou, (forgot the other part) that was pretty tasty!. My meal including the gratuity (10 peeps) was $57.91. Take into consideration you have to also pay for parking. The other ladies had roasted chicken & potatoes, honey chicken, cedar salmon, and the chicken pasta dishes. They actually commented their foods were good, but the plate size did not satisfy the price. All in all the experience was nice, but we will not be returning! Not filling at all! Still hungry.

Came into town to hang with my girls and we made reservations for this spot before we all flew out! This is definitely more "upscale" vibes. We used the valet parking option. We ordered various dishes but my snapper was AMAZINGGGG! It was so much food! The taste was on point and the drinks were heavenly! We all had a great time and it was everyone's first time being here. If I was in the area, I would definitely come here for a date night! Prices were a bit higher but that's to be expected with this area.

Now this place was a vibeeeee. We were sat late as the table before us would not leave but that wasn't anything they could control and the staff was courteous and updated us throughout the situation. Finally sat at a bit more crowded space but despite the music and vibing, was intimate enough for us to have convos amongst the table. The staff here is key because they always made you feel important and checked on us constantly. We had some of the best food but to me, the most memorable experience was the whole experience! My order was incorrect and even though I told the waiter it was alright the management came out and wanted to rectify it. They comped us an appetizer for the error which wasn't truly necessary but made me feel like they actually cared about their customers. They also went all out with the complimentary birthday cake for my bestie and me. Definite pricier but unlike the other place I reviewed, this was worth it because of the staff and vibes.

Sexy cotton candy drink and the meatballs with bread...so good!

This is a sexy date night venue or if youre trying to meet your next mistake (lol). Ok, okay, I was greeted by a red carpet with a doorman. I sat at the bar and enjoyed the vibes. It was dark, sexy mood with R&B and Hip-hop music playing loud enough in the background. The bartender was helpful. She recommended this sexy cotton candy drink, and I ate some meatballs drowned in sauce. It was delicious. I decided on small bites since I wasn't that hungry. I was moreso there for the vibes, and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is attached to a club that many people migrated to after their dinner. I chose not to do so. Overall, there were fine men around, great music, and beautiful people. It was giving luxe black Hollywood!

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

During my second visit, I tried the Bitter Lemon Soda, which was also very good--simple, refreshing, and without any overpowering flavors. I actually enjoyed The Bowen House so much that I went twice during my weekend trip to Dallas. It has an almost speakeasy-like atmosphere, with low lighting and a cozy, historic feel. It's also in a very walkable area, which made it easy to visit on foot. There is some parking available, although I would say it's somewhat limited. I don't think it would be the best spot for a very large group, but it would be perfect for a few friends getting together. I also appreciated that you can order a drink while waiting for a table or bar seating, which made the wait feel much more enjoyable. Overall, The Bowen House was one of my favorite places I visited while in Dallas. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. (I rarely post Yelp reviews so that's how bad it was) I ordered the steak frites medium-well (thinking it would probably come out well-done, as most non-steakhouses tend to do). After a long wait for our food (the restaurant didn't look that busy, but maybe a lot of to-go orders?) I received the pictured steak: I'm pretty sure I can still hear it mooing. How anyone could look at this and think this is medium-well is beyond me. I tried taking a bite, but it was so raw it was inedible to eat - I would've been chewing for ages. I brought this up to my waiter, who said he would take it back and speak to the kitchen. My group needed to leave for another event (didn't anticipate waiting nearly an hour for our food) so we simultaneously asked for our checks. The kicker? My waiter did not follow up with me on how raw the steak was and did not comp my meal/provide any kind of remedy. I wasn't looking for a free meal, but the lack of follow-through to remedy the situation was the icing on the cake (or insert some kind of raw steak pun). My cocktail (which all arrived AFTER our meals were delivered) was pretty good, thus the 2 stars. But I question why/how my steak was so raw despite me waiting 45-55 minutes for it. Overall, only come here for drinks - so long as you're okay with waiting forever & a day for them.
