Personally my favourite item has to be the mugs printed with 'I LOVE STOKEY' which I think would make a great present for anyone in the who lives in the area. It's important to point out that this shop isn't all about novelty and stocking fillers. Most the cards and wrapping paper are stylishly understated and there is a large selection of posh toiletries and candles too. Though it might be a bit expensive for me to buy my wrapping paper from Early Bird every time there is a birthday on the horizon, I would definitely recommend it for the occasional special gift.

The two men who work there are lovely and very funny- they spent the half an hour I was in there arguing about Doctor John and who should do the washing up that had been there for three days. I love the fact Paperchase always have different themes throughout the year which reflects in their products. They also sell cards and gifts, so it's great for getting loved ones presents. Paperchase have given me two diaries, one with a oriental design, and a coral coloured one. I also have a pink pokodot camping style bag with matching purse. They are a little more pricier, but if you want something different then you pay a little more for it. This particular branch is small and don't have a super big range, but it well organised. I went online and ordered my diary and collected at this branch and the staff were friendly. I find their click & collect service very efficient. It's my local branch, so I'm a fan for sure.

For a relatively small shop, they have a wide variety of items available. They have a lovely range of cards for all occasions and of all different shapes and sizes. They also offer free helium balloon pumping for balloons purchased there, or a small fee for pumping balloons purchased elsewhere. As with most other Hallmarks, the prices are a tad high, but everything is of good quality.

I love tying a bit of ribbon in my ponytail and this small shop in Marylebone has an incredible selection ranging from velvet, grosgrain and gingham to striped, spotted and satin. It's also a lot cheaper than Liberty, where I did my last London ribbon buying spree. For less than £7 I got six new ribbons I'm excited to tie in my hair. V V Rouleaux is a must visit if you're into ribbons, trimmings or lace.
