We settled on a Standard Poodle and began our research. We scoured every source we could find and ultimately investigated approximately 105 different breeders up and down the west coast. We narrowed our search down to half a dozen that demonstrated a track record with a high level of breed-specific knowledge, care for the pups, concern for matching their customers with the right pup, a line of breeding that was clean and could provide the right genetic and medical history data for both the sire, dam and puppy. We connected with all 6 and ultimately chose Coplar Creek, which was an incredibly fortunate and blessed decision. Shiela is some kind of dog-matching savant! After we communicated about what we were wanting and arranged a visit, she texted that morning while walking her 3 newest pups that she thought she had the right one for us. We had read enough reviews talking about her matching ability so figured we should pay attention. When we visited there was another pup we were initially drawn to but the longer we interacted with the pups it became more than obvious that our newest family member was going to be the one she identified. We took our new pack mate home. She absolutely NAILED IT! Our pup has flawlessly integrated into our family. First night snuggles and playtime rolled into sleeping straight through the night without a single whimper or whine. It's gotten even better everyday since. Do your research! A review of this breeder's social media reveals various problems with the health…read moreof her dogs... She does not allow people on her property to see the conditions these dogs are being kept in. Has multiple litters at the same time and breeds numerous types of dogs. It appears she has produced puppies with substantive health issues and numerous puppies have died in her care. Her fees are also ridiculous, approximately $1,000 more than what reputable breeders charge for healthier, better looking pups. I contacted her when I first started researching Dalmatian breeders in the Pacific Northwest as she is located in Washington. I asked to schedule a visit with her and the would be puppy's parents. She informed me that she doesn't allow people on her property and instructed me to look at all her positive Google reviews. A few days later I randomly got a message from her accusing me of leaving her a negative review. It was seriously bizarre and that negative review (not authored by me) prompted her to shut her Google account down so the reviews are no longer viewable. She also doesn't allow reviews on her Facebook and quickly deletes any negative comments that are left. She also goes by various names, probably in an effort to hide some of her activities. Names she goes by Jessica Davidson, Jessica Timar, Jessica Garoutte, Anne Jessica, Anne Marie... and I'm sure others.

Dec 21 I went into the AVHS looking for a new forever friend. this was not the first stop in my day…read morebut it was the last when I laid eyes on "Nova". I held her and knew I wanted to take her home. I was provided a reasonable sum of money to adopt her and decided to proceed. when I asked what the process would be another employee came in at which time the process was reviewed and I was told the cost would $500 for her (she was a pup)! this was way outside my budget and I certainly would have said yes knowing the outcome of pocket. when my daughter and I mentioned that was not the price quoted we were told that there was nothing they could do. so I left. 1 hour and tears later I turned around and spent money I shouldn't have. "nova" was anticipated to be a small breed (24 pounds or less) wiener mix. Fast forward. "Nova" is now Magnolia/Maggie she is 35-40 pounds and shows every trait of a coon hound. Ending: over paid for a puppy after being quoted a lower price (yes I went back and paid it) that is bigger then I wanted and a breed that doesn't really work in an office due to the whining, howling and need for activity. oh and did I mention that they forgot to send her home with meds for after spay and wanted me to drive back from Yelm to Auburn? nice facility. disorganized. Not willing to follow through in incorrect pricing quotes.

This rescue goes out of their way for all the animals they take in and the amount of love behind ever single thing they do for these animals is amazing!
