I never place reviews after only one visit, so I had two massages at Papillon Day Spa. It's a small location, but well-kept, clean and comfortable. Reception was super friendly and even fit my first visit in on a same-day appointment. Both visits were performed by Montana. I was given plenty of time to get changed and comfortable without feeling rushed or taking too much time. A ground-level heater made the massage table comfortable. It was also nice to finally find an LMT that used a reserved amount of oils/lotions so you didn't feel like you were walking out of the spa covered in Crisco. Montana asked me about problem areas and focused efforts on those muscle groups, applying just the right amount of pressure, checking in throughout to make sure everything was just right. I've tweaked some things in my back at the gym and these last few sessions have really helped. This is my new go-to spa for massages. It's ease to book the same week which works really well with my schedule. Montana and the staff are awesome! read more

I was excited to find a place that was open on Sundays. Unfortunately the woman doing my pedicure was late but they did give me a discount for waiting. I scheduled a Papillion pedicure but don't think I got all the steps that were offered. I had to ask for the scrub and massage. Disappointed in both because she only did my feet and ankles unlike other places that do your lower leg. The place is nice and convenient. read more

I was in town for work in September and I had a fabulous deep tissue massage with Natalie! It was very quiet, the bed was warm and she was very experienced (talking just enough). I felt so much better when I left! Would definitely recommend. The only negative thing I can mention: no one was at the front desk when I came in ... there was a gal giving a manicure to a client (guessing it wasn't her "job" to acknowledge me) ... so I just sat down and waited. If I could leave zero stars I would. My future mother-in-law and I spent over $500 there in May for facials and massages. I booked an appointment a month ago for next Friday, as I am leaving town for my wedding the following morning. They emailed me today to tell me my appointment is cancelled and they cannot be available at all Friday to reschedule me. I called and spoke with the "manager", Ashley, who was not helpful whatsoever. I will never return and would suggest no one else does either. First time in this spa and was so excited based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the way they do things here just isn't my jam. Had a facial, which was both incredible and perplexing. The actual treatment on my skin was great. The technician was clearly knowledgeable, competent, and experienced. My skin felt great afterward. However, waiting for almost 8 minutes for the service to start was weird. After I changed into the robe, I literally laid on the table for almost 8 minutes before she came in (so a total of over 10 minutes just to 'get started'). Then, in the middle of the treatment, she left for almost 15 minutes. Just left. Said, "I'm going to give you some privacy while you mask" and left the room. What? for a 60 minute treatment, almost 25 minutes was just me lying on a table in the dark. This wasn't my first facial, but this was the first time a technician literally left the room for an extended period of time. At first I was worried something happened to her. Then I wondered if she was doing another treatment... It was very disappointing. If this doesn't bother you and you are ok hanging out by yourself for 25 minutes of a 60 minute service, this spa is for you. read more

Being a sizable woman, I was a little anxious about how things would go, but Natalie was really amazing! I was very comfortable and it was a fantastic massage!! I recommend the peppermint oil BTW. Their website was very user friendly and we were able to schedule our appointment via Vagaro. We arrived a few minutes early and they took us right back. One of the only nail salons open on a Sunday, I didn't mind paying a few more dollars for a luxury spa experience. $48 for a deluxe pedicure which included soak, trim, sugar scrub, massage, hot booties, and polish. Just as nice as any upscale spa I have been to. Complimentary water, coffee, tea, mimosa or wine was offered. One thing to note, this location is inside of a hilton hotel but had a separate entrance around back. Overall great, I will be back. I wouldn't come here for a massage but can't speak to anything else. There was a few of us that went together. My bed was uneven so I tilted side to side through out the massage as weight shifted. I didn't have to wear a mask but my friend who was with me in the same room was asked to keep hers on the entire time even while faced down so she was suffocating, ha. It made no sense why I was told to take mine off and she was asked to keep hers on. I could hear the conversation in the next room the whole time which wasn't relaxing for me, or my friend who was in the room that said the masseuse talked the whole time. What it isn't: inexpensive, easy to find. What it is: bliss. Pure, unadulterated bliss. My girlfriend gave me a gift card two Christmases ago, and I just never used the thing. Then I unfortunately lost it. Thankfully they were able to look it up, so it wasn't a problem. I surprised her by upgrading us to an hour long couples deep tissue massage, and they were able to squeeze us in only three days after I called. I had been having some minor upper back pain for a few weeks, typical lower back soreness, and some pain in one of my knees. Troy listened to my symptoms and started out working on my upper back. After awhile there was a light pop, and I felt instant relief of all of my upper back pain. He explained that there had been a rib out of place. Days later, I am still pain free up there and my lower back feels great too. When he worked on my quad I explained it had been partially torn about 7 years ago, and that the same hamstring on that leg had been partially torn around a year and a half ago. He was able to diagnose the strain that both of those muscles were putting on my knee as the source of the pain, and also why my glute wasn't working much on that side. After some intense (read: painful) deep tissue where I thought about yelling "uncle" more than once, I'm happy to say I've been free of knee pain since then as well. Troy was a wealth of knowledge, and extremely helpful. I've had massages at many different places, but never one this good. I wish that I could afford to go regularly, because I left feeling 100% better. read more
