Kesha the individual in delivery is incredibly rude. She has no care or concern about your customer satisfaction. In my opinion, customer service is not for her. She would fit in better working for the City of the Deparment of Transportaion where their are no customer service standards after paying nearly $500. read more

I was so excited after seeing the great reviews and speaking with the event manager. However they fell very short. The caterer showed up late to my wedding. They set up everything quickly which helped but its still the fact that we weren't informed they would be late. When people were being served I was handed a plate of food and told "we were told you had a food allergy so you cant eat everything on the plate." Thank you for informing me of what I cannot eat, but there is also the risk of cross contamination. I was shocked they would even take that risk, let alone at a wedding. Wouldn't it be better to just put things on the plate I can eat as opposed to putting everything and then telling me I can only eat some of it? Then it came to the cutting of the cake. We had gluten free cupcakes made for my groom and I because i cannot eat cake thanks to a flour allergy. So during the "first bite" pictures I would eat the cupcake instead of the cake. Yet, the cupcakes were nowhere to be found. So we unfortunately just cut the cake and missed out on the first bite pics. A few minutes later the event manager came up to me with a container of cupcakes and handed them to me. Really?!?! The food was ok. The guacamole was no better than the containers that you get at Tom Thumb. The steak meat was wonderful. The chicken I unfortunately cant comment on because its not gluten free apparently. The shrimp was supposed to be pineapple shrimp but we were given a spicy shrimp instead. The last thing that really bothered me was at the end. My husband and I counted out all of the bottles of beer, wine and liquor remaining. We cut a deal with the liquor store that they would return anything unopened. Once we counted out the bottles we headed outside to say goodbyes and thank yous. We came back inside to make sure everyone was loading things into the vehicles they should go in to. One of our friends informed us that the bartenders were giving away bottles AFTER we counted them. So if guests came up and asked for a wine bottle or a liquor bottle (WHOLE BOTTLE) it was handed to them. Seriously?!?! I was VERY unimpressed with this company and I would not recommend using them. read more

We had Pappa's cater a bbq luncheon over the holidays for our construction business. Everything went very smoothly from my questions, to ordering, delivery, and the set up. Thank goodness they knew what they were doing so that we ordered enough food for our hardy men. The food was absolutely delicious of course (we all eat there a lot as it's down the street from us). Pappas had incredible prices after looking around at traditional caterers. We went with the fajita buffet and used their bar services as well, and all of it combined was cheaper than just the food at all the other caterers I talked to. Everyone LOVED the dinner, too. It doesn't seem like traditional wedding food, but I've never heard wedding guests rave about the food as much. I loved it, too, and they had plates ready and waiting for my husband and I at our tables when we got there! They were great with service and I have absolutely no complaints. Crystal, the organizer through Pappas, was INCREDIBLE, as well. She was so helpful and patient with everything and always a joy to deal with. read more

I have used Pappas Catering many times to cater parties for us. We recently hosted a couples' shower and their performance was outstanding! With one quick phone call we got all of the details nailed down. They customized our party to get the "perfect" effect that we wanted. We had them bring out their big barbecue grill to cook shrimp and quail in our driveway. In addition, we incorporated a quesadilla station and fish taco station on our patio. We had Pappasitos come out to serve 50 plus guests at a party we held March 2018 - They did an excellent job, from the service to the amazing cooking and on site grill and set up, it was amazing!! Everyone loved the food and the staff had everything tidy and cleaned up all without anyone ever noticing it was being done. My daughter had her wedding reception at the Dallas Arboretum on May 27 and Pappas Catered our food. Julie Blum was our contact person and we couldn't have asked for anyone better! We LOVE Julie. She was everything you could ask for in a caterer. Not only did she take care of our food but she also took care of all of our rentals that were needed for the food set up. She was so patient and so kind all the time. From start to finish it was a success. The food was very good, the staff was very attentive, responsive, polite and professional. The thing I liked most about Julie was her responsiveness. She was so responsive and easy to reach. I never worried about anything because I could reach her easily and she had answers to all my questions. I also used Julie and Pappasito's twice during our wedding planning time for small wedding events at my house. These events turned out great too. I used their delivery service. They bring the food, set it up and you are ready to go. I will also say, the other staff members at Pappas were also very helpful. If Julie was away they would assign someone else to stand in for her. Our wedding "team" (vendors) all worked well together and you could tell by the finished product. We trusted them to execute and they did. It was a beautiful wedding reception. Our wedding planner was so impressed with Julie and her team. We were as well. Thank you to Julie Blum and Pappas.
