For starters, for a lobby restaurant I have never encountered more refined service ever. The service here is as refined as any high end five star restaurant anywhere. The servers here are amazing. Order a glass of wine, and take a look at the bar where you will find him/her swirling your glass to be sure your wine is perfectly aerated. The one miss-ordering a cocktail can be an adventure as it may take a while before you get your drink. But they can mix a mean margarita. Albeit, it's the Turkish version made with lemon as limes are not available in Turkey. But don't be afraid to give it a shot, as it does work and it's very tasty. Food presentation here is an art, almost to the point where you're afraid to take a bite into your meal. But you will give into temptation and after a while will be treated to perfectly crafted Italian inspired cuisine. And speaking of Italian, the pasta dishes are to die for. The zitti is amazing and not to be missed. Given the price point, this place is a bargain.

Wait staff is courteous but some struggle with English. Bar service is very slow. WiFi is free but spotty. Although they have martini cocktail on the menu, they don't actually know how to make a proper one and the language barrier was too great to explain it. I ended up with sweet vermouth on ice in a martini glass with an olive and lemon peel, and gin in a separate glass on the side.

The mall locations are limited in their atmosphere, service quality. These take away from the Uludağ experience. We usually begin by ordering baba ganush (patlıcan salatası), ezme (think salsa with mild heat), tulum peyniri (Turkish feta on steriods), bulgur covered köfte with walnuts (içli köfte) and a seasonal salad (mevsim salata). I have dreamt about how good their patlıcan salata is while looking for middle eastern food in the US. Then we go for the 1 portion Uludağ Kebap. They have extremely high quality beef which also keeps us coming back. They have the option to order this without extra pide (but this is not the best time to diet). They have servers hanging out with melted butter and tomato sauce that come around and ask if you would like some (you say yes to this too). When all this done, we go for a künefe (think shredded pastry with melted mozarella on the inside, cooked with butter and syrup) topped with ice cream. The 45 minutes it takes to heat one of these is one of the happiest waits you'll ever have. The massive trees in the garden and the pool side tables at this location only makes the plethora of taste better. They have parking too.

Starting off though was grilled oyster mushrooms, I could eat just these. A more than generous amount grill smoke and salt flavor. The ribs were excellent, tender lollipops with a light middle eastern spice. The bone ends were not frenched so it left crispy bits of grilled meat on them. Again the kebab were lightly seasoned but are a high quality so the meat flavor really showed shined. For dessert we had Kanafa, think baklava with ice cream in side. I am not big on sweets so this was perfect. Crispy phyllo dough, pistachio sweetened with a light sugar syrup and it goes perfectly with the Turkish tea that ends every meal. 2nd visit... the mushrooms; and lamb filet, finished with baklava and tea. All the flavor and quality I had come to expect from the first time.
