The trailer had everything I could wish for, from a fully equiped kitchen with gas stove, to tv, to a prive beach on the local river. All facilities are clean and easy to access. The place is right next to the tram stop, making it very accessible to Pforzheim and Bad Wildbad. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. The best thing this camping has to offer is its newly build Wellness Center. There they offer daily yoga, pilates and other fitness classes as well as sauna and wellness treatments. The classes are incredible and a large variety is offered, something for everyone. The teachers are very kind and professional, and so are all their students. It is like a little family. The building itself is very beautifully constructed. I did almost all their classes for 6 weeks and now I feel completely rejuvenated. I would recommend this to anyone!

Enjoyable quaint atmosphere with super friendly staff…read more Rooms are decently sized but be warned that summer afternoons severely heat rooms up, and with no air conditioning or simple fans in the rooms it can be quite uncomfortable. Breakfast is well appointed with many options to choose from. I really enjoyed the last era feel of the dining room especially. My main criticism would simply be that I think they could do more when it comes to cooling the rooms down (exterior shutter blinds, and fans at the very least). 3/5 Would recommend if you're on a budget.

The staff was really friendly and accommodating and took time to attend to special requests. The rooms are a good size, clean and the view of the mountains is superb. The only thing I missed was either air conditioning option or at least a ceiling fan for those hot summer afternoons. A great improvement would also be to have small mini bars or refrigerators in the room just for snacks and drinks. All in all a very positive experience.

Everything is made from scratch daily and uses local produce and offers fish/meats from local farms! It is a relatively large Hotel which has seen considerable investion over the years. We use to accomodate company visitors there. They enjoy the lovely atmosphere of Black Forest and appreciate english speaking staff, english menus, internet in the room and acceptance of major credit cards (it is a shame but in Germany not general practise). The restaurant offers typical German food as for instance Hausgemachte Schwäbische Maultaschen (Swabian Pockets), venison, trout but of course for visitors from the US also Rib-Eyes (Swabian not US-Prime). There is excellent German beer served: Schwabenbräu and Alpirsbacher. And regarding liquors and German Schnaps: Kirschwasser (cherry) and Ziebärtle (cherry plum) can hardly be beaten. There is a nice spa with pool and sauna for recreation after tough work. The Ochsen is also a good starting point for hiking, jogging or bicycling along the river Enz bicycle lane without too much of inclination which I personally cherish.
