Saturday morning, I was told that his machine had broken down and that he was trying to borrow one from a friend. I understood that unexpected issues happen and appreciated the update. He then confirmed he would come Sunday instead. Sunday came, and he never showed up. I reached out to ask if he was still coming, but I never received a response.What makes this especially frustrating is that I had three other insured companies ready to do the job, some for less money. I turned them down because I believe in honoring my commitments once I've made an agreement. Unfortunately, that same respect was not returned. Because he failed to show up and stopped communicating, I had to explain the situation to my tenants after I had already told them the tree would be removed over the weekend. It made me look unreliable through no fault of my own, and now I'm spending my Monday scrambling during work to find another contractor to do a job that should have been completed days ago. As a business owner myself, I understand that equipment breaks and plans change. What I cannot understand is confirming a second appointment, not showing up, and then completely ignoring your customer. A simple phone call or text would have been enough.If you choose to hire this company, I strongly recommend having a backup plan. Randomly about a week later a crew showed up on a day we were going to be gone. No warning. They started working and we started to leave. The supervisor flags us down and asks for payment in full. We explained that we did not have the payment yet as it had not been transferred into the account we were paying them with. He firmly stated that they needed payment right then. The job was just started, we were not contacted that they were coming that day. My husband ran back in the house to write a check and asked them not to cash it until the next week. They agreed. The job was supposed to be completed that day. When we got home later that evening we noticed there were several things that had not been completed. In the meantime our check did clear. What followed was 2 weeks of bad communication and promises broken. They would say they would be at our house at a certain time and day and then not show up, and not text or call with a reason. We always had to call them. Finally my husband got pretty direct with the owner and told him how disappointed we were with the situation and that he just wanted the job completed. He was gaslighted a bit by the owner. The next day the owner finally completed the work. For this we appreciate that he finally honored his word. This company touts their faith as the backbone of their business. The landscape stonework was done very nicely. Unfortunately, 3 of the 7 bushes they planted died. We are just happy to be done with the situation and suggest to the owner and his supervisor's to just communicate with their future customers. That is pretty easy in a time of texting and cell phone technology.

The grass is often cut unevenly, clippings are frequently left on driveways and sidewalks instead of being blown off, and scheduled weekly service get missed with excuses that they are down two crews. To make matters worse, I have never received credits or adjustments for the weeks when service was not provided. The winter service has been even more disappointing. On the occasions they did show up, there were times when the lawn was not properly cut at all. I often had to make multiple phone calls just to get my lawn serviced. My interaction with Derek was also very concerning. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and considered canceling service, he was rude and made comments suggesting that he would tell other lawn service companies if I left, making it difficult for me to get service elsewhere. Based on the lack of reliability, poor workmanship, and unprofessional customer service, I would not recommend this company.
