This place was very good. It was me and my friends first time coming here and everything was done perfectly. When we arrived we were told that we accidentally booked on there false website and they needed to check to see what they had available. But as soon as we we're accepting we made our mistake and most likely needed to plan another day the receptionist called up an appointment managing to move it for us and allowed us a spot to get our nails done. -We were also very grateful to the person who gave up their appointment later for us too. After that I'd say the experience was great. I got acrylics for the first time And they were so good at making sure you liked what they did every step of the way to make sure you got what you liked. WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I was visiting from NC and during my stay I needed a fill-in. I searched up what was nearby and Paradise Nails & Spa were one of the ones that popped up that had pretty good reviews. I called in and they said they had an availability right away and asked how soon I could get there. I hung up the phone and was on my way. So when I got there, they asked me what I needed done. I showed them my nails and told them I wanted a fill and a gel polish change. The lady then told me to pick my color. I started looking at the color and she came over there rushing me. She told me I needed to hurry up when I haven't even been looking for one minute. She ended up telling me to go sit down at the table and that she'll let me choose my color later. Felt like elementary school all over again. I go and sit down and this younger lady comes and starts drilling on my nail. She then brought out some clippers. I asked her what she was doing because I came In For a FILL-IN, there's no need to clip anything off? She then told me she was going to "fix" it. Fix what?!?! She clips my pinky nail off! I was really upset. I told her that's not what I came in for and at this point I was ready to up and leave. So she ends up giving me a fill on all my other fingers except my pinkies. She got the acrylic all over my hands. At this point I just had a feeling she didn't know what she was doing. So with the acrylics all over my hands she finally starts working on my pinkies. So she clipped it off and instead of trying to soak it off she got a nail and tried to pop it off. Anyone who gets their nails done knows how much damage that can cause to your real nails. I then told her not to do that but she didn't listen.. or maybe she didn't care. She just kept trying to pop it off. She finally popped it off and just tore my nail off. At this point I was OVER IT!!! I came in for a simple FILL-IN. Now I have a messed up, broken pinky nail and acrylics all over my hands! She then goes to glue a nail onto my pinky nail. I pulled my hand away and told her that all my other nails were sculpted so if she glued the nail on then it would be very curvy compared to all my other nails. She told me she knew what she was doing and that in the end it'd be straight like the other ones. When she finally finished with the pinky nail, it was SOOOO curvy compared to my other nails just like I said it would be! I was aggravated and told her to just please soak all my nails off. She ignored me and just kept drilling. I repeated myself and she said, "let me try again." Try again?! Heck no! So I told her again, "Can you please just soak all my nails off." She tells me to wait, walks away, comes back with another lady and have her start filing and drilling on my nails. I'm really upset at this point and I usually try to be very patient and respectful. They just kept going using me as their guinea pig. I then said loudly, if you guys don't soak my nails off right now I will have a break down and it won't be pretty!! She finally soaks my nails off!! I ended up paying for just the soak off but I shouldn't have paid for a single thing after my experience! I came in for a FILL-IN and left with NOTHING BUT MESSED UP NAIL BEDS AND ACRYLIC ALL OVER MY HANDS! Please beware of this salon if you care about your nails because they sure don't. read more

To me there is a vast difference in nail salons, and I can't imagine better than Paradise. I really love Phan, the new owner of this beautifully designed nail salon with a cool vibe and truly excellent service. She is so easy to communicate with, and I trust her completely with my nails. For the same price as most salons, you get a perfect manicure in a cleaner, newer, more luxurious environment, with excellent chairs and a huge selection of quality product. Phan is amazingly talented herself, and only hires the best. In the past decade I have followed her from central Austin to the Domain and now this new location... maybe 3 minutes farther for me than the Domain. So worth it, and highly recommended! read more

Probably one of the best pedicures I've had. They spent at least 30 minutes massaging and exfoliating my legs during my deluxe pedicure. The place was not crowded. I booked my appt. for 6:30pm. Even though they close at 7, they stayed well past closing to finish my pedicure. Incredibly clean. Took my temperature when I came inside. Everyone wore masks. Overall this is a nice place to go but it's not worth the coin what so ever. I've been here 3 times already trying to like them and find a new nail tech but each time I've gone I've either got argued with about what I WANT or they simply can do my nails right. The last set I had were so beautiful and I finally was happy with them turns out they all broke off a week later while doing simple tasks like typing on a keyboard. I'm very upset because they were so cute but so poorly done. I will not be coming here anymore and while though they do have some talented ladies it's to much money for a sloppy job. read more

With my move back to north Austin it was time to fine a new pedicure spot. A friend brought me here for my birthday earlier this year and I'm a fan. Clean, pretty, very friendly staff. I normally do the Deluxe pedicure and it definitely feels like a treat (hot stones are the best, aren't they?). Well today is the first day of my staycation and I splurged for the Pearl Pedicure. Wow!! The products smell so good and the extra massage worked out knots I didn't know I had. I nearly fell asleep in the comfy chairs. Toes are suitable for sandals once more and I am truly relaxed. read more

Before I start, I just want to mention that my nails LOOK great... but it was probably one of my least favorite nail salon experiences (and I get my nails done A LOT). I came in right when they opened Wednesday and felt rushed through the entire process of my dip manicure. The whole process took 45 min (again for dip that is fast), and although we like a fast manicure, it was very clear they were trying to get me out the door to make room for more customers. She was just very rough on my hands with the nail files (I said ouch so many times I honestly lost count, and don't get me started on the intense burn I felt once everything was cleaned with alcohol) and the curing process was rushed as well, to the point where she eventually put my hand in the ice light to speed it up... Anyway again, my nails look great if that's what you care about, not sure how long they'll last though. This is my second time at this salon and I don't think I'll be going back. read more

This was my first visit to Paradise Nails and Spa. I was greeted immediately by a gentlemen at the front, he had me take a seat while he checked on how long it would be before I was seen. He came back within 5 minutes to tell me it would take a couple of minutes. This gave me time to go through the brochure to select my package. Tanya was my nail technician and she was amazing. I even fell asleep in the chair while getting a massage. She was very nice and we conversated before I fell asleep, lol. I have never wanted to go ahead and schedule my next appointment for a specific person, but i really enjoyed the service that I recieved. She made sure i was happy with my toes before i stood up. I got a deluxe pedi with white gel polish and the only thing that bothered me was how short the lady cut my toe nails.:/ it just doesn't look right. I will never come back. I showed a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like and was told it was possible (although it was a simple almond French tip acrylic set). Needless to say they look nothing like the photo, came out uneven and crooked! None of the tips match and the slides were not filed smooth. Probably because they decided to close the salon 20 minutes early while I was still there (I had made sure before coming they would be open until 7:30). After spending $150.00 at paradise nails and spa, I will now have to go to another salon and have them fixed. Don't waste your money and time here. read more

Jimmy is the BEST!!! The entire place is amazing but Jimmy is my favorite! If you need your nails done and you're looking for the place to get them done RIGHT, Paradise Nails is the place and Jimmy is your guy. Paradise has an extremely large collection of SNS colors and they will customize your nails anyway you want. Paradise Nails has incredible massage chairs that 1) work and 2) are comfortable. Absolutely won't be back. Do not go to the man who works here. I wasn't trying to judge him straight away but he ended up messing my nails up BAD. I've never had an experience like it. My nails turned out ugly I told him to keep them long, he ignored me and cut them short -then gave me an attitude when I asked him to glue on new ones since he messed up. Actually, he ignored me well after I told him they were too short and proceeded all the way up until painting them. I had to get someone else to take them off and fix them. I was there for almost 4 HOURS. He cut my finger with the electric file and my finger was bleeding My fingers started burning at one point and he told me it was because I had sensitive fingers. That's never happened before in all the years I've gotten my nails done. I'm pretty sure he filed my nails down too much which is so dangerous they were burning for days after I left this salon. This salon should be ashamed to allow someone clearly without training to work on client's nails. Please avoid this place if you can. I wish I could give this NO Stars. I walked in with my daughter expecting to have a wait. No one came to greet us and we were told to come back tomorrow... Without even asking what we wanted. There was no one in the waiting area, no one receiving pedicures and at least 5 technicians there. We wanted sns, pedicures and waxing which would have easily totaled $200 plus tip... Horrible horrible service. Walk ins are definitely NOT welcome. read more

I sat once for a solid 7 minutes just waiting on the guy to get off his phone, he was at the pedicure chair but just doing his own thing. The last time my daughter and I went the gal was answering the front desk phone AND on her cell phone, needless to say that was not a great experience either. Plus, the intent was a mother daughter experience but what we got was not that. She did our nails one after the other (rather than 2 people simultaneously) all while very distracted. So, pedicure quality is good but the experience is not so I will be looking for a new place. read more

Loving this place! I bite my finger nails, and Nina did such a good job making my short nails look cute with the gel manicure. She was meticulous and also gave a great hand massage. I bite my nails enough that often when I get them done people dig too far, Nina was very careful. Destinee did my pedicure, I had the paraffin, and she was attentive, careful, and really pleasant. We've been going to this salon since they opened up! Hands down LOVE this salon, everyone is friendly and does amazing work. My daughter has Tracy doing her nails ( she likes coffin shaped/ design nails) and does a wonderful job every time.
