Currently, not good unfortunately (we're still here as I'm writing). First: ocean views and…read moreaesthetics of the space are great (right next to the water)...will definitely give them that. Leading up to check in, they were also very communicative, and even agreed to a late check in given complications in my travel plans. But, management is currently failing. We get here Friday and someone is in the parking spot designated for us; we inform the Stay Rise contact and they ask us to park in another location...no mega harm no foul; fine. But, the advertised internet does not work, upon arrival. Let alone that it was advertised, I work remotely via my laptop; and, the location is off the beaten path where regular cell service struggles. I immediately inform the contact, and we get no response. So, we have to put up with no internet. I again inform them of the internet on Sunday and they finally get back to me, stating the internet may have been installed incorrectly. Seems like they did not check whether it was working prior to renting it to us. But - rather than apologizing and making our comfort a priority - management's (I understand the contact to be an "Araceli") energy largely centers on the excuse that it was installed incorrectly, and it not really being a big issue. They agree to provide a hotspot in the meantime. This isn't my first time renting an accommodation. When you're in the hospitality business, you have to understand that people are wholly relying on your advertised accommodation, especially internet; and, understand people are on their vacation...any inconvenience is annoying when you're trying to relax. If there is an issue, rather than give energy that it is not an issue, a very simple apology and demonstration of sympathy could go miles. As it seems the current contact does not know what that looks like, here is an example: "Very sorry you're dealing with that! It's not what we strive for. We are on it right away. Please let us know if you have any other issue. And, we have reached out to the owner to see about any possible reimbursement for your inconvenience." I'm hoping the management contact is a fluke and is not providing the service that either the owner or Stay Rise hopes to give. Update: a "Felix" came by with the hotspot. Very nice guy. We haven't tested it yet, but hope it works. Unlike the management contact, he understood where we are coming from.

After the founder and president herself, and an additional agent, did not reply to any of my…read moreattempts to get in touch with them about their own multi-million dollar listing, I had to use another real estate agent to physically go to their office, to meet with them, and get an appointment for me to view a property. I spent around $1,000.00 all told, on a trip to Puerto Rico to tour the property and put an offer in. When I arrived in Puerto Rico, my agent picked me up at the airport and told me that Southeby's had sold the property the day before and had not even had the decency to reach out and tell me to cancel my trip, and they were not going to keep their confirmed appointment to show me the property. I wasted a lot of time and money for nothing. One of the most unprofessional real estate experiences I've ever had. In addition to an incredibly unprofessional treatment of me as a prospective buyer, one could argue that a seller would not be best served by their listing agent cancelling a confirmed appointment one day removed from accepting an offer. A bidding war to drive the price up between competing buyers could possibly be a better way to fulfill the listing agent's fiduciary responsibility to the seller. Please also note, that the first review on this listing was posted by Oriana J., who is listed as the Vice President and Senior Broker of Southeby's Puerto Rico and shares the same last name as the Founder and President. This is a violation of Yelp's content guidelines which state: "Conflicts of interest: Your contributions should be unbiased and objective. For example, you shouldn't write reviews of your own business or employer, your friends' or relatives' business..."
