Have had the Paragon P9 fire for almost a year now , and to be honest it is a load of rubbish. We have had the fire on approx 10 times in the year and have now had to change the batteries , whilst this does not bother me as these things happen since putting in new batteries it has worked once . Contacted the company and low and behold they are not much interested. It has annoyed me as we were recommended to this fire and had to wait a little while to get it . SO IF YOU WANT MY ADVICE(FOR WHAT IT IS WORTH) GO WITH ANOTHER FIRE AND COMPANY FOR THAT MATTER. This company must be making so much money that they are not interested in the customer , aw well there are plenty of other companies out there. Purchased the Paragon 9 over 2 years ago and had nothing but problems from day one.Paid just under £3500 for it which includes surrround and fitting .The mess when fitted? As unbelievable as they were suit everywhere ,and I mean everywhere .The wife and I were over 5 hours cleaning the mess up .But things got worse next morning when we tried to light it .It exploded like a firework with a huge bang .Phoned Fireside in Glasgow where we purchased it from ,sent someone out and got it going .Then it was doing it again .The company who make it Charlton and Jenrick came out ,they shut the fire down .So Scottish gas came out and said the fire is faulty .After phone calls to Fireside who dropped us like a ton of bricks Charlton and Jenrick replaced the fire.We got a run for about a year and now the fire does not even ignite And with new batteries.£3500 waisted and no one wants to know .Am I angry no fumming read more
