I ordered a dish that was meant to be meat with peppers and onions. It arrived with peas and carrots, and was rather flavorless and bland to boot. We asked the waiter about it and he tried to convince us that we were incorrect, and the peppers and onions was for a dish 2 slots down the menu. We looked at the menu again, and we were correct and he was dishonest about the food substitution. Also, seriously - peas and carrots in Mediterranean food???

Just 100 ft walking distance from the Rathaus, Benedikt reminds me a lot of the cafes one finds…read morethroughout Paris - including a delicious black truffle gnocchi, a generous selection of wines, intimate outside seating (with blankets when temperatures drop below 60F) and soft romantic music which is broadcast onto the adjacent square - echoing down the labyrinth of narrow cobblestone walkways. If the bartender hasn't hear of the cocktail you're in need of, he is eager to learn and seems to have a knack for creating unique libations in just a short period. It was a treat happening upon this special place during a cold Autumn evening.
