I have been homeless for 6 months or more now due to this property Management company. I lived in downtown Scranton for approx 10 years and was maintenance for the building. Five months after that I was served with a 10 day notice and told I owed them. I responded that I had not received credit for maintenance for the building. I was told at Magistrate level by Ron to make payments & we will work this out this was just a formally. It was clear in the court room he had fun for possession of property. So I fought back. Was offered money at the next level of court by them and I refused. I responded I wanted 5 months payment for the maintenance of the building. Was told no. And a date was set for eviction no payment will do not even payment in full. A constable will be there in x amount of days with us to remove me. They showed up before the said day mo constable gave me 15 minutes to get out I called the constable and was told he was not scheduled to be at my address. They threw out my personal property a week later. After contacting them within the by law 10 days. I was told he wasn't going to come down on a weekend and a dumpster was supposed to come Monday. I have struggled everyday. What they did and how they went about it was WRONG! And from the definition of the law ILLEGAL. I to this day remain homeless and pray someone sees this. read more

I am a tenant at one of the properties managed by Parasole. They are extremely easy to work with and their turn around time with responses is FAST! From the minor issues I've experienced the responses were answered within a half an hour and they came out the same day! The property manager actually came out just the other day and he was great. He talked to me and my neighbor explained the problem. The place is absolutely beautiful, my kids and I are happy and we hope to be here for many more years! Thank you Ron for everything! read more

I have screen shoots of text from them threating me for calling out their shity professionalism, workmanship, not fixing leak for over a month, and well thinking he is tough. I was interested in renting a home with this company. I filled out all applications and provided all information needed. The set back was Kristopher advised that they are only willing to show the rental during business hours and will not accept your application unless you can meet during those hours, see the place and the process begins. I feel if you are looking for great tenants you will work to make sure the application process is easier especially when most people work during the day as well as be a bit more professional when speaking to potential renters. read more

This company spends a TON of your money and does not like to tell you where it is going. They actually contacted us saying they didn't want to work with us anymore because we were trying to hold them accountable on where our money was going. At times they were very professional and at other times we felt as though we were being taken advantage of. We even had tenants leave one of our units and they never even bothered to tell us! Their contractor put our sink in backwards, they say they will do yard work and charge you for it but they don't do it. If you dare question them, they threaten to drop your property. What a headache! Don't use them. read more

Me, my fiance, and our little pug moved to Scranton on a second floor of a house managed by Parasole Property Management. We are currently on the end of our second year lease at this location. The apartment was in good shape when we moved in, and any problems we have had in our apartment have been addressed within that day, which has been incredible. Due to the area we live in, we have had power outings with weather, and small problems with appliances, but the management company has made sure to solve any and all problems that arise. They even helped us on weekends and holidays! Compared to our previous experiences with renting apartments and houses, we feel Parasole Property Management goes above and beyond to ensure their residents are properly cared for. Parasole properties takes care of my problems every time I call them. They send out maintenance or plumbers same day which gives me peace of mind and assurance. One time my sink was clogged and Ron fixed it himself. I did move to another Parasole property because the owner was not doing his part by paying for repairs. Am surprised by previous yelp postings for Ron and Parasole Property. They have been managing a home for me for almost 2 yrs now. They have also been super responsive to all my needs. The tenant is still there and paying on time so I assume they're responsive to the tenant too. A few months after they took over the property, it was hit by a tornado (yes, tornadoes hit in the Pocono Mountains, news to me!). Ron's team jumped into action and did an outstanding job. Plus nearby neighbors are very meticulous about how the property should look. They haven't complained once. Have worked with several property management companies and Ron's is one of the best. Also, last winter Rons snow removal Guy's truck broke down and before I left for work in the morning there was Ron and his wife plowing with his personal truck. Ron is a nice guy and his team is efficient.. Having said that, I'm sure if you have many units that need managing they are quicker with communication and urgency. I didn't come to the table with that and felt like I was a nuisance more often than not. Their going the extra mile to help see things get taken care of didn't happen. As it turns out when I decided to let go of the property (financial hardships and could not afford to keep it any longer), I was told by another party that they were no longer going to manage my property. They did not reach out to me at all via mail or phone as the contract required. Contract or not, letting me know would have been simple common courtesy... When I called to inquire about it a few days later, they let me know and said they would mail something out. In my experience with them, I would sum their service up as providing the bare basics.. no more no less. read more

Really did not enjoy working with them. I contacted them on several different occasions where I was told that I could not see the house or pursue looking into homes from them because of special circumstances. The agent I spoke to was very rude about saying she could not help me after I was reading all these awesome reviews on how they can help in all types of situations. Very upsetting that mine was one where they did not want to help me. I was very displeased. I'm only a college kid looking to find my own place for a good cost which fit my budget. It's unsatisfactory service when someone says they refuse to help me and my circumstances look bad. I was not at all rude to her and she just told me that I looked bad. She then did not try to contact me over phone or meet with me after I asked to meet or call about this to see if there was anything I could do. That to me was also very unprofessional. I work for a call center and I've been house hunting for a while, most people would call me to begin and ask me some questions about my home and what I'm looking for and then we would talk and schedule to see the home. This conversation was all over email and was very short. Call me and talk to me as an adult, email is great to say, hey glad to know you're looking around, we see you applied for these homes call me so we can discuss our options, I felt would have possibly been a better way to go about it tell me that I don't qualify for a home and give me possible other options from the page, because I applied for several homes on their page but was only contacted about one. I felt brushed off and that they just did not want to help me. I contacted them several months ago when I was homeless and needed to find a place sooner than later and they did not get back to me after I filled out an application. Do not rely on the houses they have on websites because they may or may not get back to you and they may or may not help you out in the end. read more
