The food ended up being delicious, and we devoured it in about 10 minutes given we waited so long. I speak very little French but did my best to communicate to the staff that we had waited well over an hour and asked politely if perhaps the wine could be comped/free. The French couple next to us agreed. Alas, for whatever reason we could not be comped and instead was offered mint tea. No thanks.

One of the cleanest hotels that we have ever stayed, excellent service and perfect central location since we were there for the Christmas Market (Les Marchés de Noël). My view was the inner courtyard, which was perfect since a real "view" would have been to the Grand Rue and probably would have been noisy (or maybe not who knows). We did not experimented the breakfast (12 euros), but we literally went to the place next door for breakfast, which was fantastic. Highly recommended, especially for those planning on doing the Les Marchés de Noël.

The museum is actually 3 old Alsatian residences in Strasbourg, filled with daily insight on the lives of people in the region in the 18th and 19th centuries. I would want to live here even now, if it wasn't a museum. One of the neatest parts was a room full of antique toys, from dolls sporting gigantic bows to elaborate miniature toy kitchens. You can see agricultural items, religious items, to a typical Alsatian kitchen set up for the time period, down to the pots meant for preserving butter. If you are in Strasbourg, this is a must see.

There are running/bike trails right by the hotel and they let you rent bikes for the day, which is a nice deal. The rooms themselves are spacious, with a balcony. There is a restaurant on-site that has pretty good breakfast and lunch options (didn't try the dinner). Overall, this is a good place for a work trip, the only downside is that it's not walking distance in the city, but the views are amaizing from almost every room!
