The company provides a wetsuit (mandatory), water boots (I wore my own water socks underneath, which I recommend though not necessary), and an optional wetsuit jacket (I wore this despite the hot day for mosquito and sun protection). Short 15 min uncomfortable (no AC / crowded / loud) bus ride at the start and you are off! You raft back to the start as rivers don't loop around :-p Rapids were fun and scenery was gorgeous. I have been rafting on more intense rapids but this trip had extra thrills like swimming through a rapid and cliff jumping (plug your nose!) Our guide Felix was absolutely amazing. Spoke perfect French and English. Very kind, knowledgeable and fun. I will say if you are mosquito sensitive, I would recommend avoiding this area. The last portion we walked though the woods and despite wearing a 3inch thick wetsuit with only face and partial hands exposed, I got 2 large mosquito bites on my face. The children found it exciting, parents found it safe. We went in July and they provided all of us with heavy duty wetsuits (even in July), neoprene boots, helmets, life jackets, paddles, the raft, and our own river guide. We stopped along the way for some board surfing and some body surfing in the rapids and then another stop for a snack of juice boxes and granola bars. Our young children were very happy.

They were very helpful and there are clean bathrooms. There are many hikes to choose from and you must drive to the parking lots where the hike begins.
