From the first intake visit with Lisa, she was judgmental, biased, and rude. She is incredibly unprofessional and I'm surprised she has had any success in this field. The office is small, dirty and has old uncleaned toys for the children. Lisa also scheduled a visit without even alerting me - she called and was like 'where are you?', I had zero knowledge. She adds to a very tense custody situation by lack of professionalism, care for my son and having a clear bias towards the non-custodial party. She most recently cc'd the other party into a private email I was having with her about concerns about him, the visits, etc.. It blows my mind how careless she is. Avoid this place!! I certainly will be finding another supervisor ASAP.

I also learned a lot about parenting from our discussions and readings at our parent meetings (especially "No Bad Kids" by Janet Lansbury). The co-op experience is unique because you get to be in the classroom regularly along with a parent coach and two to three other parents each day. It creates a very special community experience, and you get to be there with your child as they learn and grow. As a new parent with a Covid baby, I was so thankful to find a strong community at Pea Pod. I'm still close with many other parents from our cohort, and I love that our kiddos have known each other for over half of their lives! Most importantly, I feel like my child was truly cared for, respected, and allowed to be herself at Pea Pod. This meant - and still means - so much to me. It was the best childcare experience I could've wished for during those two precious years of my daughter's life, and I would recommend Pea Pod to any parent looking for loving care and a community for themselves and their child!

No license, no DHS oversight, no required training, and no accountability if a child is harmed. They employ Jasmine Kennedy, who is unregistered and has no early childhood education experience (confirmed via her own public LinkedIn profile). She doesn't lead activities or engage with the kids meaningfully. Crafts were never more than paint haphazardly smeared onto paper out blocks of wood. Never once did we see a semblance of any kind of planned lessons or sessional activities from this "teacher." (Even through peapod says she's not a teacher, she's listed as such on both their website and her own LinkedIn). Multiple children, including ours, disclosed being grabbed, yelled at, and made to feel unsafe by her. When we raised concerns, the board shut down communication, deleted our posts, and said we needed to "manage our energy" at drop-off. No one ever asked how our child was doing. A leaked multi-page board document reveals a disturbing pattern: after a child disclosed being hurt by Jasmine while alone with her, the board portrayed the parents as the problem. They called the mom manipulative, overly anxious, and mentally unwell, implied her concerns were racially motivated, and labeled both her and the child liars. Jasmine was described as emotionally overwhelmed and burnt out, with the document centering her discomfort, not the child's safety. Multiple other parents had also shared concerns about Jasmine being rough, but those were ignored as "boundary setting." Instead of addressing her behavior, the board unanimously voted to terminate the family's enrollment claiming the family was "a harm to the community." Since speaking out, Peapod leadership has labeled us mentally unstable, mirroring the retaliation described in their own records. Peapod uses community-friendly language, but behind the scenes it silences parents and protects unqualified staff at kids' expense.

This place is a gift to anyone that has taken Spanish in school and yet never learned it. My instructor taught us so much, and broke it down into lessons that made the transition so much easier that I'm not only learning Spanish, but I'm enjoying understanding the how's and the why's of the language. All classes are very small (usually no more than 8) which makes it easy to learn, grow, and laugh with each other. I never felt that I couldn't make a mistake or ask a question. The homework is minimal and doesn't usually take more than an hour a week. (Though it's good to make vocab flash cards as you go and keep practicing). Wonderful teachers, quick responces to emails and phone calls.

The classes are no larger than 8 people so you get really personal attention compared to the universities and colleges. Our class has been studying together for several months and we are now all friends and have attended foreign films together around town and we sometimes bring in snacks for celebrations or special occasions like birthdays etc. I have attended their social celebrations like Day of the Dead and Mexican Independence Day and feel like its a great little community and family at Tierra.

I paid $515 for Mr. Mohammed's driving class in December 2025 for a class that was supposed to…read morestart at the beginning of 2026. At the time, I was 17 and turning 18 in April. I was very upfront with him that I didn't have a lot of time to spare, but I was willing to learn, put in the work, and do everything I needed to do to earn my license. Unfortunately, my experience with this driving school was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Mr. Mohammed's tone toward me was often rude and disrespectful. He also repeatedly pointed out that I was one of the only Black students and made comments about how, because I was Black, I needed to work harder and things along those lines. He constantly compared me to other drivers and students, which made me feel even more discouraged. After only my second drive, he told me directly that I was not going to pass the class. If I was supposedly not going to pass, I was given no real solution, additional support, or offer of a refund at the time. Communication was also a major issue. He would barely respond to messages, cancel scheduled drives, and there were times when I would show up expecting to drive but was instead told to watch someone else drive. I was not offered makeup time for the driving time I missed or paid for. Yes, I was behind, but that was exactly why I enrolled in a driving school. I was paying for professional instruction and practice so that I could improve, not to be discouraged or told I was going to fail after only a couple of drives. What makes this even more frustrating is that I recently saw Mr. Mohammed respond to another review on Google claiming that he gives refunds when requested. In my situation, my mother contacted him directly months ago about getting a refund, and he never responded to her message. He left her on read. So seeing him publicly state that he provides refunds when requested does not match my experience whatsoever. I have the messages and documentation showing that my mother did reach out about a refund and that he did not respond. I have also kept evidence of my communications, payments, canceled/missed drives, and other interactions because of how this situation was handled. My mother tried to address the issue with him months ago, and he chose not to respond. At this point, I am prepared to pursue the matter through the appropriate channels if necessary. Overall, I found this driving school to be extremely unprofessional. I paid $515 expecting to receive instruction, practice, and support toward earning my license. Instead, I dealt with poor communication, canceled or missed driving time without proper makeup opportunities, disrespectful comments, and very little support when I was struggling. I understand that learning to drive takes work and that I had areas I needed to improve, but that is the entire reason I paid for a professional driving school in the first place. I would strongly recommend doing your research before paying for this school.

My last therapist here, Ashlie Mole, was entirely unprofessional and untrained, especially regarding eating disorders and trauma responses. She made a direct violation of the HIPPA contract that was agreed to, without a valid reason, leading to a severe decline in my mental health and quality of life. At the time I was 15+ and had enough freedom with my medical care to have a HIPPA contract actually be valid. As far as I know she is still practicing and has faced no legal or workplace consequences. Highly do not recommend. The psychiatry here is good, my psychiatrist has managed my medication very well and actually listens to my input on it.
