Finally, Paris Baguette is open in Charlotte!! Despite its French name, this is a huge chain of Korean bakeries that's been rivaling Tous Les Jours (yet another French-inspired, French named Korean bakery chain)...and been around for YEARS around the world (since 1988!). Can't believe it took this long for these bakeries to make their way to Charlotte. I, for one, have given up waiting...and have been enjoying Tous Les Jours and Paris Baguette (and several other Korean bakeries) in other US cities for many years. Though unknown in these parts, Korean bakeries are huge in Asia, and metro cities around the world. Still, am glad it finally hit the Queen City...better later than never??? Somehow I was expecting a much bigger layout (like the one in Duluth!), but this one will do...as it has plenty of pastry-plus selection. To see their full selection, I suggest getting there earlier in the day...they go fast! Not only does this location carry a good selection puffy pastries, they also have a good deli selection. So I stocked up on a variety of pastries, as well as sandos to bring home. In addition to a few fruity pastries, we tried the Turkey & Avocado Baguette, Egg Salad Sandwich and Tuna Salad Sandwich...and they were all DEE-Lish! Just like all the pastries, all of their deli items are super-fresh...made in-house! I also tried their Iced Matcha Latte...and I found it a tad too sweet. Think I prefer Tous Les Jours' version of that. In any case, I'm an absolute Whore when it comes to puffy pastries, so am so glad we have these bakeries in town...at last!

This is a South Korean French inspired franchise. Service: absolutely awful. Slow, inefficient and they seem to be short on employees. There's people working but they are doing everything else but getting customers checked out. Customers come to the cashiers not knowing what to order. Food: mediocre at best. I was expecting fresh pastries and products and instead the pastries tasted like they were a day old. The stations were all empty and it was 2:30pm in the afternoon (prime time). The strawberry cake was good but that was about it. Atmosphere: it is actually nice, location is nice, but it is a confusing method and nobody is there to explain how it works. Will not return and do not recommend driving a long distance to come here. I drove an hour to get here and I was completely disappointed. Go to the Brazilian bakery Brazilian Eats and Treats in Ballantyne for a substantial better experience.

I am glad that Charlotte finally has Paris Baguette, i had great experience in their location at New York and Duluth area before. Charlotte has the same excellent service as the other locations. All the pastries tasted great and will back for more. The only thing is flow of the cafe seems off, it is because it is overwhelming with customers, whenever Charlotte got new opening it seems to be way too busy. Another thing is there are not enough staff to clean tables and keep the seating clean. I know that they will fix this problem once the opening period pass. Happy to have them here in Charlotte

This is new bakery. There is plenty of shared parking. The pastry's look so delicious. I tried the spider mochi which was fresh and delicious. They have plenty of seating and WiFi. Prices are a little higher. Hope you enjoy.

Well I had high hopes but will continue to drive to SouthPark for my French-Asian bakery experience. The storefront is esthetically pleasing with cozy French bakery vibes. Perfect spot to journal and grab an expresso. There are rows and rows of beautiful treats, both savory and sweet. For me that's where it ends. All baked goods range from approximately $4.75 each and up. The flavors, textures, and flavors just did not wow me. Purchased: $27 total spent for 6 pastries -Croissant doughnut (filled with cream) -Powdered cream filled -Blueberry Cream Cheese Danish -Strawberry lemon filled Croissant -Chocolate Croissant -Sugar Donut (cream filled) Would recommend them adding cream filled on the less obvious pastries, as I am not a big cream filled doughnut fan. The cream has a weird aftertaste and most of my pastries had a gummy undercooked texture. The final lasting impression was the lack of cream filling in an expected cream filled sugar donut.

The pastries are really good and the concept of the grab and go is really cute, the pricing is a bit steep with pricing between $3.75-$10.50 per pastry, sandwich or cake. The macchiato is ok, I've had better, but it is worth a try, to me it was a bit burned/ smoky tasting. The service is indeed self service with the full staff behind the counter making beverages. The location is a cute corner walk up and in the most pleasant location. Overall, I suggest giving it a try.

This South Korean franchise with the French name has been rapidly growing across America and now has a bakery in Charlotte. Sound complicated? Not really. Asian pastries have long been European and American influenced so you'll find a healthy fusion, both sweet and savory, at Paris Baguette. I've now been at several of these across the country. It may be my imagination but the selection now appears to a bit more Americanized than I recall. Perhaps that's to be expected. While I've always loved red bean pastries I found only the filled rice donuts on this visit. There were plenty of other options, though. I especially enjoyed the Biscoff cookie butter donut. People have remarked about the poor service and housekeeping at this location. I found no such issues, even the restroom was pristine. Let's hope these were simply start-up bobbles; service certainly remains an ongoing challenge in today's work environment. I arrived about 10:30 and there was a large selection of pastries and sandwiches with more being made. I'm wondering when the photos showing empty cases were taken? If they were late in the day I'm sorry but that's to be expected in nearly every popular bakery. I enjoyed my lunch at Paris Baguette. Check it out!

I have mixed feelings about this location. I love Paris Baguette, they have good coffee and pastries. But the cleanliness of the store is as important as the quality of the food. There were several employees at the store but no one cared about cleaning the place. Tables were dirty, I cleaned my own table. The floor was dirty, the garbage bins were overflowing. I hope management makes improvements and will address this type of issues promptly. No complains about the food or the service, but again, food establishments should be clean.

    Strawberry-pistachio bombolone - heavenly!
    Tina V.

I loved, loved, loved the strawberry-pistachio bombolone! Heavenly! It was light and had about an inch of cream inside that was not too sweet --- it was sooo good! I also had a Dubai chocolate mochi donut - it was good but the bombolone really knocked my socks off. While I didn't get it, they carry Lavazza coffee, which is excellent coffee. Their sandwiches are absolutely huge though I didn't try those either. I ordered a matcha tea that they couldn't provide because they were out of matcha. This place is definitely pricey but Is hugely popular - there were plenty of people going in and out the whole time I was there. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I'm still thinking about that bombolone and how I could've easily eaten three! haha

We were anticipating Paris Baguette opening here in Charlotte! One of favorite bakeries. Make sure you come early because theo stuff goes fast. Man everytime we come here all the bakery items were great. We tried some cookies today also and man were they nice and moist. Some of the best macadamia nut cookies ever. We also tried one of their new item. The Dubai chocolate tart will update one we tried it out. We were sad that they were out of the Dubai Matcha Latte. Come check them out it's a nice spacious space with a bright vibrant scene!

Great food, great variety, reasonably priced and nice setting even including outdoor seating. What more can you ask for? For me the cherry on top was the Lavazza coffee.

So happy this spot has finally opened! A nice open space with some cafe seating outside too. Definitely a great addition to Rea Farms. They have a lovely variety of sweet and savory pastries, some gorgeous cakes, and plenty of beverage options. You select your pastries and put them on tray, and then you take them up to the register to pay. Both pastries we tried were tasty; I wish I'd gotten more! They just opened yesterday and were busy, but very smooth operation. The owner seems really nice as well.

It is open! Charlotte's first Paris Baguette has opened in Rea Farms. It is worth all the hype! It has a great atmosphere with very good lighting. They have plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The pastries are excellent! You can't go wrong. The coffee is delicious as well. Please go check them out!

I chose the "Proud 2 Be" drink because it had bold red, white, and blue colors. I have to say: false advertising! I was handed a very muddled drink and I even asked, "This is mine?" and the staff member said, "Yes" and I said "It looks so beautiful and different in the picture" and she said, "Yeah, it looks different when you make it." The staff member was lovely - bright and bubbly from the moment we walked in and throughout the whole time she waited on us. I'm not sure if she doesn't know how to make this drink or if it's false advertising. I didn't take a selfie pic for my accounts because it wasn't much to look at. Silver lining: it tasted good.
