This store is under new management. I visited this location on Sunday and an older Filipino woman who appears to be the manager (or owner?) of this location was not only rude but also had her dog sitting at the table inside the bakery. This is a health violation waiting to happen. The selection of pastries was also unfortunately underwhelming. It was only 3 pm and there were hardly any pastries to choose from - no idea how this place is open until 9 pm. I have visited this location twice now and have been disappointed each time by the lack of pastries and very limited selection. I will not be returning to this location. read more

This is my second review under the "New Management" and I must say, it's getting worse. 70% of the pastry shelves were EMPTY, especially no croissants, which is the most basic staple of a French bakery. If you don't have croissants (especially in the morning) you shouldn't even open! I also asked the teller if there were any coming out soon and he didn't know! As the years have gone by, I have moved from 85C to Paris Baguette. I feel that the quality has stayed high while 85 has gone down. All the cakes are beautifully made. They can be on the pricey side but are well worth it. My go to is either a hotdog roll with ketchup and mustard or the ham and cheese. For the sweet side, I recommend the blueberry cream cheese pastry, sweet rice donut, or peanut crumb bread. Of course, I will always pair either option with their iced coffee. (I mix the milk coffee and black coffee to even out the sweetness). For this location - I recommend coming around 7-8AM to get the pastries as fresh as you can and have the most amount of options if you are trying to get your employees some goodies. Every location can be different. There PBs out there, like Koreatown, where they have sandwiches and an oven to warm up your pastries. read more

Drove by and stopped for a sweet treat! The size of the location was a bit smaller than I'd hope, and by mid-afternoon the selection was much smaller. They sadly ran out of egg tarts, so I just got the cheesecake and small chocolate braid! The heavenly cheesecake was super moist and soft like a sponge cake, and melts in your mouth easily. I know it's not them but, every time I come here the cases are always empty. I'll come on a Wednesday evening and it's empty, I'll come on a weekend morning and it's empty. I don't know whether the employees just don't replenish the items often enough but, I'm always disappointed by the small selection when I come and sometimes I'll even drive out of my way instead of coming here. I like the parking, staff are always nice and store is always clean but, literally cleaned out as well. I love the mochi donuts so I'll get those if available, the ham and cheese croissants are always my favorite. It's any other Paris Baguette to be honest so, it'll all start tasting the same but, I do love the coffee as well. If there's no coffee shops around, this'll be my next go to. read more

I work nearby and have come every so often to see their selection of pastries. I usually stop by BEFORE getting to work and I need a quick pick me up coffee. It's every time I come here that I end up leaving disappointed and disatissfied. I love to support other coffee businesses that are not Big chains like Starbucks, however I'm not sure what is it about THIS LOCATION that just frustrates me. I get their coffee, it usually tastes like straight milk with ice and a splash of brew. Usually I look on their website and their pastries look so good but when I walk in there's 2-3 I see them in the back making fresh ones but for some reason can never sell me one. Another thing, they promote their line of new drinks with a poster outside and inside their menu screen however when I ask for one they never have it in stock or say they're making those today. Again, very disappointing why advertise? Today, I casually stopped by again because they were advertising their new cookie butter macchiato. I was so excited to try I go inside and there's a line but I wait and order my coffee; as I'm waiting for my coffee there's a woman just saying she's going to take over coffee orders and now she's walking around with the cup not even knowing where the ingredients are and yelling "I NEED MORE ICE WHERES THE ICE" another man comes from the back with a cooler I kid you not an actual small cooler like the ones you put your drinks in when you go to the beach and just gets the ice from there to put into my drink. She puts some drizzle on top and give it to me. 1) doesn't even look close to the picture 2) ice was already melted and it looked a mess so I take a sip and tell me why i feel soggy bits of cookie in my mouth. I spit it out because I get so grossed out. I look at the bottom and she literally smashed an actual cookie and threw it in my coffee. So now I'm mad because I just paid 8$ for an iced coffee with soggy cookie bits. I just can't express how bad this is. Especially because of the location and the advertising that they do and every time their menu doesn't back up what they offer. This is also a great location there's a bunch of businesses around so yeah we go early or during lunch but the lack of menu items and service is just beyond me like this could be so successful if they even tried. read more

I took my wife here after visiting Glendale Galleria since this Paris Baguette was nearby. My wife fell in love with the their Iced Chai Latte when my sister got it for her at the Encino location. This store is in a smaller plaza but I was able to find parking. This store is also smaller as well so just be aware that they might not have a certain dessert. When we walked in, they only had 1 family dining in there. They didn't have much pastries on display but all my cared about was the Chai Latte. She put in her order and was told that they were out of regular milk but they had substitute. So my wife went with the Oak milk and she still loved it. We didn't have to wait long inside for the drinks to come out. This store also have limited outside seating as well if you want to sit there. read more

One of my favorites spots in Glendale. Whenever I can get some delicious coffee and desserts I'm good! The service is pretty good! They're friendly and helpful whenever I bombard them with my questions. They've made some good suggestions whenever I've asked. You can't go wrong with anything you try here. Everything is delicious! My only complaint is that this location doesn't serve their delicious sandwiches. If they had sandwiches I'd be there even more than I already am. The location is smaller than most but still has a good seating area. The area is clean and it smells like bread, you can't go wrong with that. The parking situation is pretty good, it's located in a small plaza. It's definitely one of my favorite spots in the area. Stop in for some delicious dessert/baked goods. (I know I will!). I have been going to this location from time to time for 10+ years. I recently bought a strawberry cake and I was shocked at how the cake looked. The presentation was subpar at best. For the price people pay, the least they can get is a presentable cake that looks good on the inside and outside. Normally the strawberries are generously glazed with syrup, but there was only a driblet on each. The strawberries need to be completely covered in glaze so that when they are stored in the refrigerator, the glaze acts as a shield from color changes (since the cut fruit is exposed to air). I'm not sure if the bread was cut unevenly or if the cream distribution was off (maybe both?) but the appearance of the cake once cut left me disappointed. I'm used to seeing an even layer of cream but this time around it was very different. The strawberry slices inside were uneven. Not to mention, some strawberries on the cake were starting to become overripe and mushy (we all know what that looks like) and there were certain parts that were not ripe at all. The bottom crust of the cake was also baked unevenly. Some parts could not be sliced with a knife; the hardness was like that of a pie crust. I shared this cake with some friends, and immediately after eating a few bites my stomach felt a bit strange. Nonetheless, we all have been battling severe acid reflux the past few days since we had this cake. We are not lactose intolerant, but either too much of the milk, eggs or butter was used in the process of making the cream. Also on a side note, the quality of the pastries has gone down a lot these days. For example, whoever is making the strawberry cream croissants is skimping out heavily on the cream. There's barely enough to taste and the cream isn't being spread out evenly either. The pineapple one also lacks cream now, so all I taste is juicy pineapple and nothing in the center where the cream usually goes. Whoever is in charge of making the pastries here needs to be retrained or let go because this PB will lose business if this keeps going! Edit 04/16/23: one of my friends called and said she was battling a severe sore throat after eating this. It's so bad to the point where it hurts to speak. Always get their cake for my birthday but as Christmas is near I am very disappointed on their deceiving flyer that said you can pre order your Christmas cake, cause you can't. I stopped the week of the 12 and grabbed one cause I was excited to pick their cute designs and I am hosting family for the first time and wanted for all of them to try these cakes but unfortunately today they told me you can't pre order. Been here a few times before Stay At Home orders started and glad that they were open during this time. They have pastries bagged and ready to go on display, so you just grab a tray and some gloves before making your way to the goodies. I got some chocolate twists, pumpkin twist, two of the curry filled pastries (which I found out later on that they were mislabeled and we're seafood ones instead), two of the strawberry cheesecakes, and two of the original cheesecakes. The pastries tasted great as usual, but definitely loved the cheesecake ones because they sort of melted in your mouth because of how fluffy they were.
