Paris Baguette is a bakery chain from South Korea with many locations in the New York City area. I have also been to their Flushing and Koreatown locations as well. This one is smaller than the others and occupies a narrow storefront that was a Gamestop until a couple years ago. Nice selection of cakes, rolls, croissants, sandwiches, and more (with and without meat). They are very similar in selection and quality to Chinese bakery chains like Fay Da, but at double the price. The baked goods are very fresh but like I said, I can find just as fresh for much cheaper. read more

Yes, their croissants are amazing and their cakes but today I decided to purchase a cream doughnut my issue it's deep fried no problem not enough cream in the middle and the dough is so blah I did not enjoy it, especially at three something a price tag, the chicken salad sandwich is great. 1 slice of meat? I seriously can't believe that I only had 1 slice of meat on my sandwich. I've had friends talking up Paris Baguette saying how good their food is and why I need to try it. I stopped in yesterday and grabbed a turkey sammich. I'm picky so upon arriving at my destination I opened up the bread to see if there was anything I didn't want to eat and realized how thin the sammich looked. Upon further inspection I realized they put 1 SLICE OF TURKEY AND FOLDED IT IN HALF. Wow. So ur customers deserve 1 slice of meat folded. Damn shame. I'll never return to any Paris Baguette after this. I only gave 2 stars cause the service was friendly but they definitely don't deserve it based on the food alone. Edit: switched from a 2 star review to 1 star. I let my partner convince me to give Paris Baguette another try. I let him recommend this nasty grill cheese with bacon and BBQ sauce. Great location here. Picked up a chocolate cake, I believe it was an 8 inch for $29. They provided a little "Happy Birthday" sign if you need and give you candles and a knife. Favorite part are the matches and little piece so you can light the candle. Extremely convenient. Cake taste is on point. Guests loved the light, airy texture. I visited the PB location in rego Park while the family shops around in the area and I love the gut busting sweets especially the custard filled donuts , chocolate crossiants, chocolate chip muffins , blueberry chiffon cake and everything else I can shove in my mouth .Jokes aside , a large cappuccino, 2 sweet pastries , a table away from everyone, my new york post and I am good for 45 minutes . If you come during lunch , the sandwiches, soups , salads are not bad as well. My only bitching is sometimes the person ringing you up is the same person making the coffee drinks and heating up the breakfast crossiants so it may take a while waiting on line. Things Ordered: Strawberry Croissant ($2.95) I was surprised that this was only $2.95 since PB is notorious for over pricing things. The croissant itself I would rate 3/5 since it wasn't buttery and flaky like what a good croissant is like. I do like the sweet cream that is used to fill in the croissant since it balances the tarty strawberries. For $2.95, I'd take it and it was definitely cheaper than what I could ever imagine they would charge. The sweet cream is not overwhelmingly sweet so do not worry about that aspect. If you want a dessert that doesn't kill your wallet, I'd recommend this pastry. read more

They have a variety of pastries and they look all good!! It's a Korean style bakery and their baked goods are not too sweet but light. I tried many kinds of pastries and I liked all. I come here pretty often. There are many options so you would feel difficult to choose. Here's my recommendation: Peanut crumble bread, cream puff, kouign amann and mini garlic croissant. Try them!! It's a good place to grab some food for breakfast. Or for your snack too! There are like 7 tables inside and you can use wifi. It usually takes long time to get my drink so I give four stars. This is my favorite bakery. I'm so glad it's here in my neighborhood now!!! They have a wide selection of goods. A variety of coffee, sandwiches, cakes, breakfast items, lunch items, bread, and drinks. The cakes here are decent in price and looks too good to eat. They range about $30-$35. The glass cases are on the side. You get a tray and tongs then pick the items you want. It's self serve. To order drinks you go up to the cashier. There's some premade drinks in the fridge. I think today is their soft opening so not much items are available, but still a good selection to choose from. Their grand opening will be on 2/13. Can't wait till they are full stocked. There are a few tables inside to sit and eat. Strollers can fit. The staff are very nice and helpful. read more

I always loved this place. I mostly went to the flushing location. I couldn't be more happier they opened close to home. I just had to stop by. Wonderful is the word that comes to mind when walking in. Nicely renovated and clean. Co zy booths to sit in and enjoy your pastries. What an selection! Feels impossible to choose because it just looks so delicious. And you can believe me it definitely is. What I love about the pastries always fresh, tasty, and not overly sweet. The trays are right in front and you walk down the isle open the windows and make your selection. I went little overboard and got sweet for my family and myself. I got the tropical salad, strawberry custard crosstiant, fruit crosstiant, chocolate twist, and almond rasberries crosstiant. The salad was just delicious. Freshly made and very healthy, not to filling. The strawberry crosstiant was just pure heaven. The prices are very reasonable as well. This place opens at 6am. I placed an order through DoorDash at 7am, for a regular baguette and 2 croissants. I got a notification that the Dasher would be delivering my order. Dasher arrives to my door and says, "they didn't have any baguettes" and then left. The place is called "PARIS BAGUETTE". You would think they would carry them first thing in the morning. Staff didn't even call me to let me know that they didn't have baguettes, or to ask me for a replacement item. I really love that they opened a location here in the area and I don't have to travel towards the island, Bayside or Flushing to get my fix. Staff here so far is quick and friendly -err...quiet. Many of us know the difference, few of us point it out. Coffee is very smooth and it was not old when I got it. For those who are not familiar with Paris Baguette, it is a Korean owned chain that is influenced by french pastries and incorporates Asian flavors into baked goods. We stopped by and purchased: Raspberry Cream Cheese Croissant: It tasted pretty plain. Raspberry Macaron: raspberry jam with a sugary center. It was ok. Chocolate Soufflé : dense brownie version with stuffed milk and white chocolate piece instead of the melted lava center. Not a fan of PB's version. Amann: Similar to Dominique's DKA except PB's version is really sticky on top from the honey and caramelized sugar. It was also too buttery. Our total came out to $15. We also received a free mug with a coupon book for the next purchase. I returned and purchased the chocolate & strawberry cream cake since most of the cakes ran out as it's Valentine's Day. The cake was actually better compared to the pastries. It had fresh fruits and cream. Overall, the pastries looks better than they taste. Still, it's a better option if you're looking for more than DD or Starbucks. read more

I usually love buying cakes for special occasions at Paris Baguette. They NEVER fail me! I thought the individual slices would be just as good, but I was sadly disappointed. I ordered the peach pistachio cake, as well as the strawberry & cream slice. The strawberry & cream was ehh.. nothing special & it had a somewhat bitter after taste. The raspberry wasn't fresh though... HOWEVER, the pistachio cake was a really odd combination. Plus, it smelt just how it tasted... which was again, odd... im addition, the frosting smelt like clay! The raspberry was not fresh either & the peaches didnt taste like peaches at all. I couldnt taste the pistachio either.. i havent tasted anything else from this location, but I dont think i'll bother paying another $11 for doodoo :( read more

Their pastries have the perfect amount of sweetness. I'd choose PB over Martha's Country Bakery and La Boulangerie (both in Forest Hills and more expensive). This place has higher quality pastries than Martha's and La Boulangerie. The chocolate bombolini are very flavorful with a good mouthfeel. The little cakes and tarts with fruit on top are well balanced so they are not overwhelmingly sweet. If you like blueberry, try the blueberry chiffon cake and you will be in heaven. They advertise shave ice, but it's not real "shave ice" like in Hawaii. It's more like a crushed ice, which is far grainier and not as flavorful as real shave ice. Didn't reach five stars, as the bakery assistant sometimes are unsure how to pack pastries to go. Also, they used to have these clear domes to protect the berry tarts during transport, but lately it seems they haven't been ordering them. read more

When I went earlier this afternoon to buy two croissants and an almond croissant (about $7-$8 total), the place quickly became packed. It is more of an upscale experience than Dunkin Donuts which is right next door, and maybe the local Russian and Chinese bakeries, but the quality for all the goods are not necessarily better than the Chinese bakeries. It's just a different vibe. The croissants I bought today were not especially good though they were big. The Chinese bakery on the corner in Rego Park has better tasting croissants that are smaller, but fluffier and cheaper. However, the almond croissant was good.
