However I recently bought one of the pre-made sandwiches (the Chicken Cesar Sandwich) and was startled by how little chicken was in the actual sandwich (see picture). So happy they opened up in the neighborhood! We need more Asian bakeries. I went this week for breakfast and everything was fresh. Had the Mozarella cheese roll, lemon cream tart, egg salad sandwich, and a cheese tart. Free Parking is available right in front of the store which is a huge plus for this area. It's quite spacious inside with plenty of tables, including booths. It was pretty quiet around 11am. I could see myself getting a lot of work done over a great hours without being pressured to empty a table. read more

Oh yeah paris baguette is open on northern blvd and they have a few tables outside but none is available but I can grab and go and that's ok with me . It's 12.05 pm which is late for breakfast and early for me for lunch but I did grab a can of diet coke , sparkling water and slice of rainbow cake (one slice only but the blueberry chiffon cake had my mouth watering but I must have willpower. Grab two full baguette breads that were still hot out of the oven and all the other sweets and food items were plastic sealed wrapped which is a must during these trying times .If it was early morning I would have grab a breakfast CROSSIANTS which I have enjoyed on many occasions . This place has the wrong online menu for delivery constantly, it makes for a really frustrating experience!!! I've used two different apps to order from here and it's the same issue. If you really want something that you are ordering online then I would recommend calling them to make sure they have it. I have recently placed two online orders here and both times I've had items missing because they didn't carry it. Both times I had issues with the soup but I also previously had pastries that needed to be swapped out. The last time I ordered they were able to call me so that we could swap out some items, this time they tried to call apparently my husbands phone but he thought it was spam and didn't answer. I can at least give them credit for trying but just fix your online menu so you don't have to! I actually feel bad for the people that work here because they have no control over this but whoever is in charge of the online menu needs to make corrections please!!! I am especially annoyed because they are aware of this ongoing problem and they are not fixing it. Despite this, generally the pastries I receive from here are good. I would skip the bubble tea here and the frittata croissant breakfast sandwich. The curry croquette, chocolate and almond croissant and the twisted doughnut were all good. I also got the blueberry and cream cheese pastry which I thought was just okay and wouldn't order again. I came in on a slow early Sunday morning . The fancy desserts on display , were a sight to behold . Just pick anything you like . Serving trays were kept on the side and you could help yourself and pay at the register . Place was clean , organized and had friendly staff . I bought a cup of coconut chia pudding with mango & raspberry fruit on top and a cream filled donut to go . Pastry was fresh , sweet but not sugary , soft and light and just melts in your mouth .I was very satisfied with both my purchases . These are pricey "gourmet treats "and sandwiches but it's a nice place to sit and unwind for a little while and treat yourself to a good cup of coffee and a "pretty" sweet dessert . I bought the whole grain bread yesterday without checking the expiration date because I assumed it was new or had been checked before selling. When I paid she said 2 for $7 but I just bought one because I think I couldn't eat both. However, when I got home and was about to eat it, there was mold all over the bread (just the inside part, that's why I couldn't see it before purchasing). I bought a couple of small pastries, small croissant also small size of Castella which is individually packed sitting next to cashier. For those small pastries the cashier guy was trying to put them in the biggest box which is totally unnecessary, so I asked him to if he can put them in the small bag or box, since I was on my bike and smaller bag or box was better for me to carry. Even tho he told me it'd get saggy (which I know and I also know how to handle that when I get home) and didn't give me small bags. What was the problem here? Yes,of course my pastries were going all over in the box when I got home and cream and fruits are messed up. PLUS he put individual package castella which was sitting next to cashier in the box touched to small pastries. I thought everybody tries to follow the safety ways of taking care of foods especially after this pandemic, but I must say he is not. He didn't wear mask properly, just covered up his jaw, not his mouth or nose. Those items definitely should be packed separately and I'm very upset for half covered masks and his packing since I'm also in the food business and I won't allow my workers to do such things. Don't get shaved ice here. It's not good. Ordered the fruit shaved ice in the poster. Took unnecessarily long and Got it with just strawberries and pineapples and whipped cream. No ice cream, no strawberry drizzle, and more of a crushed ice than shaved soft ice. Well they certainly excelled at screwing up an order. 1) called to place a pick up order and was told we don't take phone orders you have to use an app. Ok, well your website is messed up and so t let me place an order? Oh, you have to use a delivery app. Ok, but the delivery app doesn't have everything but whatever. 2) go to pick up and they yell at the other half and accuse him of trying to pick up and order not his as a delivery driver?!?! Um, he wasn't a delivery driver. 3) what they got right - the 6 bottled water and one of the breakfast sandwiches. 4) what they got wrong - everything else! One breakfast sandwich was wrong... Jalapeño Chips should NOT be substituted for plain salted chips... cream filled fruit pastries shoved in a plastic sack so 99% of the cream filling sticks to the plastic? NO, but you did it anyway and were annoyed when we asked for new ones. But the highlight, which we didn't notice until we were already out in Long Island - our ham and cheese baguettes weren't ham and cheese baguettes. They were some sorta ham sandwich on a cibatta shaped baguette roll with an Italian type dressing? Doughy soft and NOT a baguette and NO cheese. Plus the instructions on the label had heating instructions. You do NOT heat a ham and cheese baguette. You don't have something in stock when we picked up at 10am (well before any lunch crowd) fine - but how about saying "would you like something else?" 100% waste of $40 in food and zero "how can we fix this" on your next visit. Love Paris baguette so when I saw that they had opened a store in my neighborhood I stopped and bought sandwiches and soup for lunch. Also got a glazed donut and a croissant cream puff. There was no trays next to the pastry display only brown parchment paper so we placed the donut and the cream puff each on a parchment paper and took these and our sandwich, salad and soup to the cashier. The donut turned on the paper with the glaze down and when I saw that the cashier picked it up still with the glaze on the paper and put the donut in a small plastic bag I said miss the glaze is still on the paper and her response was "it's your fault since you didn't take a tray" I answered that there is no trays over there so why don't you just put the donut with the paper in the plastic bag since you don't uses pastry boxes so now the rest of the glaze is stocked to the plastic bag. Her answer was "this is the way we do it here and we are not allowed to give the paper" she then proceeds to pack my cream puff in a plastic bag, it was also turned so the decorations was in the bottom. I was quite disturbed with the donut since the glaze that make the donut special was gone. The other disturbing issue was her nastiness when I mentioned the glaze on the paper. I asked for her name since they didn't wear name tags and the answer was that we are not allowed to give out our names and that seems very strange since 99% of the service industry uses name tags. The whole conception packing pastries incl open faced pastries with pastry cream and fruit in plastic bags and not pastry boxes is very strange since it will mess up the product. Since I was not allowed to take the parchment paper with the lacy with me I cancelled the donut and she had another fit. This was my first and last visit to this location and lucky for us in this neighborhood we have a professional French pastry shop close by so no need to go back here and be insulted. This is one of my favorite places and I was excited this location recently opened near my job. Well this excitement was short lived! I purchased a tomato mozzarella salad which was sloppily packed with lettuce hanging over the bowl dying. Had to pick that out! I purchased a large hot green tea and wanted to put honey in it; that was crystallized and hard, so no honey! The top didn't fit on the cup and the water was 2000 degrees hot as hell when it splashed on my hand! Every other store had blue tops that fit with a pull back drink part, not this store! They have cheap white cups with solo tops that don't fit the cup! Oh...... and let us not forget the soliciting that allowed in the store. Yes when i am selecting some food I want to hear and see someone going to everyone in the store who's sitting and eating, asking them for money..... and no one who works here even acknowledges this is occurring. And after I left I am convinced I over paid because my receipt says grilled chicken salad, because I am sure tomato and mozzarella looks just like chicken! Needless to say, this was my 1st and last time at this location! I'll stick to the bayside location which I personally feel is the best! read more

The workers need to be trained better in sanitary procedures. I noted that the trays in the 'clean' pile were actually dirty. Also, the used parchment tray paper from the last customer was still on the 'clean' trays. It's like being given a used paper plate! I saw a worker behind the counter handle money and pastries wearing the same plastic gloves. They need to be trained in food handling. read more

Yikes ..place is getting worse and worse. The place is almost always dirty. They don't prioritize bakery cleanliness. This usually gives you the sense of how the establishment works in the inside, the space you can't see as a customer. Nonetheless, I can't say for sure if it is as dirty inside as it is outside, as I am just a customer. The food has gotten really bad. The Canelle was a favorite and now it's not even edible. The usual scrumptious cakes are now dry and expensive. I understand the increase in price, because that's how life in NY is , but if you drastically compromise the quality of the baked goods that you sell to the customers, then we have a Huge Problem. read more

Both the sweet potato and red bean bread were extremely dry. Quite obvious that these were from a couple of days ago. Threw them away. The loafs were ok. Service: Disgusting. The cashier isn't an honest person. She purposely rang another item at the end the costs about $5 (raisin bread) to cheat. She then says the total is $16 and change(don't remember exact cents). I didn't pay and just looked at the POS screen and her and she removed the raisin bread and didn't even say sorry, didn't even looked at me, didn't say a word. This happened twice already but at the first time I didn't think much of it but not any more. There is no way you can press two button by mistake on the POS system. I hope the owner of this store #1508-Jackson Heights see this review and do something about it. Will never go back to such disgusting place. read more

A nice location. They have two parking spots in the front of the store. Typical Paris baguette, just small and new. The employees are not really good yet. Messing up orders a lot. Mostly under charging. BUT the bad thing is the employees that touch up the food displays uses the same gloves that they use to clean or touch non food items. That's unsanitary! Walked in to purchase a prepackaged bag of rolls. The item price on the shelf was $3.50. We get to the register and the price is now $4.75 (no tax). Granted, I could afford this and the price isn't the reason for my review. This review is completely based on how they handled the price discrepancy. We explained to the cashier, and pointed to the item on the shelf, that the rolls are labelled at $3.50. The cashier simply wouldn't do anything about it and explained that the computer has this price and I already rang you up. In other words, if the computer charges you a price, that's what you owe, no matter what you're expecting to pay prior to approaching to pay. No customer satisfaction what-so-ever. We visited this location when they first opened and we didn't get a good vibe initially. We decided to wait a month before going back. Our decision was a bad one. read more

Allen School, recently asked for a donation for a school event and Paris Baguette really delivered! The manager's generosity was amazing. Not only did Paris Baguette deliver THREE of their amazing cakes. The also sent boxes of coffee and TWO platters of sandwiches. The cakes were delicious. The sandwiches were a great variety. (They even included veggie sandwiches for those of us who do not eat meat.) And, the coffee was a great treat to all the staff at PS 148Q. We cannot thank the manager and staff of Paris Baguette Jackson Heights enough for supporting the local school and its teachers.
