Unfortunately I was enticed by an online deal. I can only hope the collective bad reviews can avoid others from having their day messed up by this hairdressing salon. Booked an appointment. I showed up on time however they started on me 15 minutes late. The hairdresser was constantly talking bad about my natural color. It was really offensive. They all ignored me for over an hour. I had to kick up a fuss to convince someone to wash the color out. My final color makes me look like an orangutan. An orange glow is now emitting from my scalp. And the final blow was walking into the sunlight and seeing she had left dye on my forehead. Needless to say I went back to my car and cried. A visit to the hairdresser is not meant to be traumatic. Ladies and gents, save your dignity and you coins. DO NOT attend this salon. It is NOT worth the deal they advertise!!! read more

disgusting customer service, untrained and under qualified hairdressers. absolutely do not recommend. context: took my 73yr old mother (mind you has back issues and can't sit in the chair for long) to get her hair done. waited 20minutes but was told ten minutes maximum wait time. got called up, and showed the hairdresser the type of hairstyle my mother wanted only to have the owner wanting to argue with me and charge me extra for a blow dry! I told him 'no' and that we wanted to change the hairstyle due to the fact we were dying her hair the next day so blow drying it would be useless. we changed the hairstyle only for him to walk away and try to sell extension to someone wanting to pay more $$$$ ... he didn't excuse himself during the haircut. my mother sat there looking like she did something wrong and nearly tears in her eyes because he just walked away. I mentioned to the floor staff to get him back to my mother to complete the haircut and the floor staff herself just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. then I confronted the owner/hairdresser and told him his business management skills were useless and that he hadn't a great business mindframe.. he told me that if we couldn't wait for two minutes we can go m. I laughed and said 'not until you complete the haircut' which he then said 'it's busy here' I was so pissed that I said 'not that busy seeing you have two hairdressers on the floor' he wasn't impressed and then got a female hairdresser to cut my mothers hair. I'm surprised the business is still running due to the fact that I've had chemical burn a couple of years ago from them and their business model is just shit. If you want shit quality and don't care how you look... highly recommend going there. Otherwise, don't. The owner/hairdresser is disgusting and argumentative and rude. I was furious but composed. I was seen to straight away. The woman that did my hair was very friendly and was very knowledgeable. She was able to give me advice specific to my hair. My haircut and colour was done very well and she also gave me a complementary hair treatment. It's a shame I'm not from Sydney otherwise I would make them my regular hair dresser. Will definitely go back when visiting Sydney. read more

Worse place ever! Spent all day having my hair coloured. Colour was incorrect and they tried to fix it but was still bright orange then another hairdresser tried to fix it still not right. On the same day three other women complained about their hair. read more

Beware of the additional charges that you will be getting! Ever had an annoying experience where you assume from previous sessions that what you're getting is included as part of the the service only to find that they had charged you extra where most hair salon would do it for free? Yep. This is what I had experienced with Paris Hairdressing. I bought an OurDeals coupon recently and thought I'd opted for a revamped hairdo before the voucher expires. The voucher entitled me to a full hair colour of any length (my hair was moderately long), morrocan hair treatment, and style cut. At first talk with the manager, I asked whether it was possible that I have half foil instead (since mine was growing out) and she said yes for an additional $60 (fair enough). But with this, the team did not offer me full hair colour even after I asked whether I would get one. Half of the time, I had an inexperience staff wash my hair, pull my hair too briskly while they cut it, and ask the most ridicoulos questions like "why do we use foils in her hair?". To annoy be more, I was charged an additional $30 for hair wash and final curls. I think this is very unfair given that I had to wash my hair anyways if I am dying it!!! And the curls, as a finishing touch, I did not even asked for (or wanted in the first place). She just curled it, and charged me for it. To make matters worse for me, she started upselling me with products that I don't need and charging heaps for it. My experience at the Macquarie Centre salon was TRULY TERRIBLE. The colour was nothing like I asked and my hair was so damaged that when I ran my hand through my hair, it was falling out in clumps. Even worse, when I voiced my complaints and tried to explain to the manager why I did not feel comfortable paying the full $150 (given that the service was nothing like what I asked for and my hair is completely ruined), the manager became verbally abusive and physically intimidating. He called me a "fucking c**t". I was not engaging in any argument with him. His abuse was unprovoked and shocking. I requested for security to be called and for the manager to refrain from speaking to me until they arrived. However, he kept standing in my personal space, staring me in the eyes and swearing at me. When I saw security in the salon and tried to walk towards them, the manager blocked me physically. The matter was taken up with Macquarie Centre management and will be taken further to the Department of Fair Trading. This business' conduct is completely unacceptable. Avoid this place. read more

if there is NO STAR, i would give them...the worst hairdressing salon ever, BEWARE, DON"T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT...no customer service whatsoever, they left me waiting for half an hour and then they realised i m there,,, when they started working on my hair, every 5 min the girl leaves and do something and then comes back to continue,,, what is that!!!...a bad hair cut and kept pushing me to do a keratin..the girl didn't stop looking in the mirror at herself...they care about how they look more they care about the customers...my friend and i left the salon very disappointed...would never return read more
