Went here for dinner with a business associate. Read good reviews and found that they were right. Typical bar with an attached gaming room. We both tried their Reuben sandwich and it didn't disappoint. Try it when you happen to be in Wainwright. read more

This was my first stop at Park & Trestle Pub and Restaurant and it will be my last. We arrived just before the noon rush, was greeted, then ignored for other customers. The menu is what is expected for 'pub' food, but nothing spectacular and don't expect it to be hot from the kitchen. The descriptions do not match what is received. The tornado fries - aka spiralized potatoes deep fried, are burned in some area, and undercooked in others. This is probably due to a lack of stirring during the cook. The seasoning is lacking on the potatoes as well, but since they were quite cool, one can only guess they were seasoned too late after removal from the fryer. The Pulled Pork atop the Mac&Cheese (I will get back to that) was barely room temperature. The menu stated a creamy Bechamel sauce. It was a Bechamel, creamy it was not. It was not freshly made and the reheating (to barely warm) would be my guess as to the texture of the cheese less tasting sauce. The sound level in the pub area is very high. The low ceiling and multiple hard surfaces allow for conversations to be heard throughout the rather small establishment. There are not a lot of eateries in Wainwright but this one misses the mark. read more

This place was awful! The waitress was extremely rude.. She didnt listen to anything.. She forgot to place half of what we ordered... the kitchen staff was arguing so loud we could hear them from our booth.. The restaurant was pretty empty and the kitchen was "backed up".. the food was cold and soggy.. thw portions were tiny for the price.. we wont be back and we wont be recommending this place..
