I visit at least once a week and think this is the best thrift store in the area! They put the larger sizes (for women) on the far right (if your back is to the front of the store and you're facing the rear of the store). If you sign up for their texts you get about three texts a week. Everything NOT the most current color tag is 50% off. On Sunday if you have spent a certain amount you get a coupon that is good on Sunday for 50% off Everything. I find the staff to be very nice. Sometimes there is a long wait for checking out (go early and there usually isn't), but one thing you can do is take your clothes off the hanger and put the hanger on the provided rack - there are several signs that suggest this and still people with huge amounts of clothes don't cooperate and that adds to the wait. I've never used the restroom - do they still have one? I don't know. But I will just say this - I have given up on Goodwill. I used to donate a lot of things to them, but I was told they ship the good things donated to some central location to sell on the internet. I don't know but their selection (at least in the N GA region stores I have visited) is pretty poor - but Park Ave thrift usually has something I'm excited about finding! read more

This company cares nothing about it employees or their customers. The Fayetteville Ga. store has no AC and I was told the owners are not going to repair it. This store needs to be boycotted because only minorities work at these stores. Greed and profit I would not shop at the store anymore. read more

This is one of my favorite thrift stores however make sure you sign up for their text messages, check your local paper for their coupons, AND they offer coupons for you to come back, you just have to hold on to your receipt. With that said, this is a thrift store, however it's a clean one and if you are a thrifter, you know what I mean by this. There is a wide variety of items however if there isn't a price on it you can forget about it as they won't sell it to you (I had an item that I found behind the glass and when she pulled it out there was NO PRICE and she let me know she couldn't sell it, so why have it displayed?!!). They have dressing rooms however there are no mirrors in them. You have to come out and there is one outside of the rooms. They do ask that you put back clothes where you got them from however there is also a rack outside the dressing rooms where most folks put them. I also find something I don't need but it's also a great way to make your dollars stretch. read more

Deplorable restrooms. No soap or tissue. Not sanitary at all for anyone. They are allowing customers (male and female) to only use one restroom and the other restroom is locked for employees only. The manager was notified but seemed unbothered and she had an attitude. The shopping experience, otherwise was fine. The lines are usually long since they only have 1 machine all cashiers use when processing card transactions. The trash bins outside the store was overflowing with trash. This place is amazing! Every outfit is picked with care from the staff. You are not paying for clothes with stains and holes. Everyone is down to earth and friendly. Sure, sometimes the lines can be long, but it's worth the wait! I bought 5 designer jeans, 4 shirts, a scarf, and jacket for..... $13 all together!!! It's was all 50% off on Sunday. I was not expecting much but this place actually has a lot of great finds. I found about 6 dresses, a couple jackets, and a cute watch all for about $25. Make sure you join their text list to get daily and weekly deals so that get you up to 50% off. The store is very organized by category as well as color and they have great customer service. The manager at the Glynn Street location is the most childish, rudest, and unprofessional person that I've ever dealt with. She begin ringing up my merchandise with a very nasty demeanor. No greeting or acknowledgement. She began discussing a potential shoplifter with the store clerk in my presence as I waited. She concluded my sale, and said, "Next." Before I left the counter, I told her how unprofessional I thought she had been with her hostile body language, tone, and actions. After bringing it to her attention, she became angry and refused to give me a contact number for her supervisor claiming that she would give him my number to contact me. I keep reading great reviews (for other locations)... this one was the closest to me today while I was out. LOTS of clothes. Pretty much 98% clothing. A couple racks of shoes, minimal housewares and a partial wall of bagged toys and such. My daughter found a couple of outfits complete with shoes. This place is not cheap. The lowest we saw was 3.43 or 3.93 or something. For USED t-shirts for $4 seems way out of line for me. I was able to use the $5 off coupon I received from signing up via text, and I also received a 50% off coupon to use on this Sunday (if I were to return). This place is too pricey for me. I look forward to checking out other locations though. read more

Store clerk refused to honor store coupon with no explanation. I asked for the manager, Christine, who was talking and laughing with her door open in her office. She refused to speak to me. This place is only good when they have half off sales. The staff are usually rude. I got screamed at for going into the dressing room 30 min before closing. They have a lot of clothes but it's annoying to have to go through them and look for your size... would be much better if they were in some sort of order. read more

Store is neat and cleaned, but overall the prices are too high for a thrift store. Was not easy to find as there bil board ads were poorly done. Cloth should be put in size order and then color coded. The items I looked at I cold get on sale in any department store bran new. They really need to consider lowering there prices if they want a lot of business. There were only a few people there the day I was and didn't see anyone buy anything just looked and walked out as my friend and I did. First off Salute to Brandi the sales associate! I would actually give her 10 stars! the only reason I walked in to Park Avenue Thrift was because of a billboard that mentioned getting 50% off your entire purchase when signing up for their mobile VIP Text, which I did. The store was in my area so I decided to stop in. I found several items and was excited to use my "50% off discount". Unfortunately when I got to the cashier it could not be used! I had to put some things back. The coupon I got from my text said $5 off purchases $10 or more. Yes I'm grateful for that discount however I would have appreciated what was said in the marketing "50% your total purchase!" False advertising is LYING! if your offering $5 off $10 or more THAN SAY THAT! Brandi apologized which I truly appreciate she did not have to apologize for the irresponsibility of Park Avenue Thrift's actions. I told her thanks but it's not her fault. She was very nice and Park Avenue is lucky to have associates like her! Thank you Brandi! if I spelled your name wrong I'm sorry. I doubt I'll be back to Park Avenue Thrift and I ran into another customer in the same Plaza in a different store that told me they always have a ton of restrictions on their discounts she shops there for the prices but she always has to fight for her coupons to be honored.
