Number one beverage store...! They have a Large variety of anything you may need...!! Easy to find and parking is ample.!!

This is a nice stop on the ride home, if it wasn't so convenient I would probably skip it. Prices are a buck or 2 higher then other stores in the area and the selection seems to be dwindling. One thing this store does have is a full nip and pocket sized bottle collection. So if your traveling or need to keep it hidden then maybe this is a worth while stop. This is a fairly large place, with a decent selection of wine, beer, and spirits. The items on sale tend to be good prices. The items not on sale are a little on the high side. Its not on a main road, so you have to know it's there, but if you are in the Scotch Plains area and don't feel like driving to one of the superstores, its your best bet. read more

When ownership changed some years back it was hard to see how the place might improve yet it has. Cleanliness is noted. Selections have increased and the staff is knowledgeable when it comes to whatever you need for drinks or that special meal. Craft beer is now a "thing" and they have a good stock, you won't be dissapointed. With the proximity to home its also very easy to get to. Enjoy! read more

Friendly staff and they have accommodated well to curbside, contact free pick-up. They put my order right in the trunk of my car and I pay over the phone. I find the prices on my go-to items to be a dollar or two cheaper than other local places. read more

Unfortunately, Park Beverage is the only store that carries certain craft beers in this area of Scotch Plains. Without competition, they jack their prices up unreasonably high. For example, a 6 pack of Troegs Mad Elf at a Buyrite in Chatham costs $13.99. The same 6 pack costs $18.99 at Park Beverage. This $5.00 difference borders on the unfair. The owners and employees are nice guys so I am not sure whether or not they are just ignorant to proper pricing. The store gets three stars because of an above average selection of beer and proper service. I cannot fully endorse it though because of the price. read more

I live out of state and wanted to send a bottle of champagne to my brother. No one in the area delivers. Although Park Beverage generally does not deliver, they were most helpful in this situation. They helped me pick out a bottle of champagne in my price range, delivered it and called to confirm that my brother was home and received the gift. I try to shop local when I can, and expect prices to be slightly higher. This store, however, was pricier than expected. Going in to buy 5 bottles of liquor for Christmas gifts, and it was $5 more per bottle than anywhere else. I expected $2 or $3 more, but that equivilates to a whole bottle I could have gotten somewhere else. The owners are very nice, there is plenty of parking, but unless I am only in need of one bottle of something, I will be skipping it. read more

On their website I luckily found a bottle of whisky I had been looking for at a good price (there were places that had it for less but I like to give my local merchants the business). I arrived and found out it wasn't in, they were expected it that day and they would put 2 aside for me. When I arrived the next day, that wanted to charge me 50% more ! I showed them the price on their website and they acted shocked , saying it was incorrect. I asked them to honor that price (which btw was a fair price that they were still making a profit on) and they refused. Emails were sent back and forth (in which I said they should admit the mistake, honor the price and make a new customer) but they refused, saying it was highly allocated. I went to a few other stores and found it in the shelves (that's not where you put allocated items). So although the email exchanges were respectful, I cannot recommend this place. Accept your mistakes, honor the price on your website, be honorable to a new customer and have that new customer spread the word about the great experience they had. Instead, I leave upset and disappointed and will never go back. read more
