This place has a very eclectic decor, it's a "we love road trip memorabilia" type. I liked it! The customer service was great and the food came out pretty quickly. It was fresh and delicious. My boyfriend ate everything on his plate and so did I. He had the "Bridge Party." The French Toast was like the fluffiest French Toast I've ever seen! My Smoked Salmon Bagels were surprisingly very yummy, the cheese underneath went well with the fish. I loved the little green olives on it too. Anyway, our experience had its ups and downs. My steak was a bit undercooked (I like medium but it was more medium rare) and Mr C likes scrambled egg but got over-easy. I was OK with the steak since the first few bites were delish! The rare-r parts, I gave to Mr C so it was a win for him and as for the eggs, we simply told our server and they quickly brought him scrambled eggs (he really doesn't like runny eggs ). They were fairly busy (since it was a Saturday) so despite the minor hiccups, we still enjoyed our meal very much! We both got the Working Man's breakfast cause the steak just sounded too appealing As mentioned earlier, although my steak was undercooked (to my likings), it was still very flavourful and tasty. My sunny side eggs were beautiful; perfect runny-ness so I can dip both my toast and potatoes in it Mr C's steak was cooked to his preference so he cleaned his plate and after he got the scrambled eggs, he downed those too cause he was hungry added bonus was him getting the diced peppers with his potatoes! Mine didn't have any and I was glad It's a smaller restaurant but definitely has a very comfortable diner-feel to it. I don't have much pictures but i remember I loved all the displays they have! It's definitely one of those where it wasn't theeee best experience but we still had a good time. I think we'll be back since it's a decent price for the amount of food. read more

This is my boyfriend and I's go to for lunch! Especially when we want burger! The park burger and the mushroom burger are my favourite. The gravy is an extra charge but it is so so worth it! The gravy is so good. Everyone is always friendly and our food always come fast. read more

This place has the potential to be a real sh*thole, but it hits you in the face with a surprise. That surprise is good food! The Park Cafe has an interesting ambiance with old pictures from the neighborhood and some old antiques on display. It is located in a seedy area of town and you may have to weed through a few drunk First Nations to get to the door, but once in, you will eat a great meal. I had breakfast which included a green onion, bacon and mixed peppers omelet with whole wheat toast and a side of hash browns. Freakin delicious. Everything had flavor and the portion was perfect. Considering where this place is, the price was a little high. For the omelet and a drink I paid almost $15. I was expecting that to be a $12 meal myself. The prices were not on the menu which was a little misleading...OK a lot. But, it's a great whole in the wall and I will definitely go again and recommend it to others. read more

Pricey but good. Eggs Benny came to $18 with a coffee, a solid 25% more expensive than at a Hyatt. The hollandaise was excellent, the eggs cooked as perfectly as any other great restaurant. I have had better for less, but for Saskabush, this is the top. Why not more stars? At a competitive price, it would equal other 4 star recipients. But the coffee-decaf is not brewed, rather it is that Keurig instant K-cup stuff. The choice was between Starbucks and Van Houte. Every other restaurant I've been to that serve a proper Benny, serves a proper coffee. Actually, Eggs Benedict doesn't seem to fit this DDD type of place. I would never hold a business breakfast here, where more table space and privacy would be an advantage. Best for mid line meals done well when you feel a bit spendy. read more

Very Cool little cafe on 20th, breakfasts and lunch's served. The food was great, everything seemed to be homemade. Awesome burger, great soups and the breakfast menu looked great too. I just love this little hideaway on 20th St. I don't get there often but I have never been disappointed. They have friendly, relaxed staff and that makes me friendly and relaxed too, and really adds to my enjoyment. The food is good, nice toasted burger buns, fries always cooked to order and served sizzling hot, their clubhouse is always fresh and well put together. It's like stepping back in time there. It reminds me of what the Broadway Cafe was over twenty years ago before that big renovation that destroyed all the charm. 5 enthusiastic stars for the wonderful Park Cafe! read more

The Park Cafe is your classic greasy spoon, but with a few twists. There is a focus on locally sourced ingredients. And they cure their own back bacon (or Canadian bacon for you yanks). They even serve local Pickerel with eggs for $22. Because I was in a hurry, I went with the French toast, which came with link sausage and hash browns. I actually ordered the meal with back bacon, but decided to stick with the link sausage that the waitress brought to me because of that hurry. Other than that, service was friendly and quick. The French toast was on thickly cut white bread that tasted mass produced. And the airy consistency of the potatoes made me think they came from a bag as well. They were well prepared though. I'd give the Park another try upon my next visit to Saskatoon, but I wouldn't go out of my way. read more

I was in town for a brief period, so I found Park Cafe recommended by Yelp users. The service was terrible from the beginning. Once I sat down, it took a long time for someone to tend to me and at the time it was not busy. Once I ordered and received my food, no one came to check on me. I had an empty glass of water for while. When I politely asked for more water, the waitress did not respond. She only brought me another glass. I felt like I was not welcomed and I am nice to everyone. I would not recommend Park Cafe. So disappointed. read more

I'm visiting family as I live in Germany, they recommended the Park Cafe as a must dine while here. They took me there for breakfast this morning and immediately I fell in love with the atmosphere of the diner. It reminded me of Happy Days, a tv show from the 80's modeled behind those 50's styles diners. The food was excellent and the staff was awesome as they were on spot. This place had a lot of potential. The menu has some interesting items, but they are not well executed. We had the cod loin burger and eggs Benny. Both were very over cooked. The cod, was very dry, despite being a very thick cut. The poached eggs were rock hard and the holidays was broken, like it had sat too long. This is the real thing - old-school diner, musty smell. I wasn't sure what the food would be like but the eggs over-hard were perfect - best I've had.
