This place is about as good as you can get for a small town like WInnemucca. There are two screens and most of the time two movies per week. Sometimes they will have three titles playing. Some movies come out on opening day (like the most recent Harry Potter) and some will come out a bit late. From what I've seen at least one new movie shows up each week. There are no student discounts or anything like that, but Wednesday nights have a reduced rate every week. read more

For a small town, this two screen theater was quaint. Loved the movie, the popcorn was good ... real butter. Tap water is free, that was a first. I would say the only downside is they do not take credit cards. In a world of technology, at the very least they could get a square and charge an extra buck for the use of it (which would be far cheaper than the bank fees you'll incur for using the ATM). As a former resident of Winnemucca, I've been going to Park Cinemas since it opened. It is a small, typical movie theater - nothing fancy. I was a little disappointed yesterday when a large group of my family went to see the 3:30 showing of How To Train Your Dragon and found that they had started early. WTF? Being 3:25 you'd think you'd have time to choose a seat without disturbing the other viewers! read more

Just an average small town movie theater. They had popcorn, soda, candy bars and not much else. We enjoyed the movie and the seats were fine. read more

Its nice service, the downfall is its way expensive, tickets & food, many times the oil is old on popcorn; we just don't order it anymore.
