There are loads and loads of shops in the Quadrant like HMV, Game , W H smiths , Clinton cards and Debenhams. It can get pretty packed out with shoppers at peak times and especially with the run up to christmas. At christmas there is usually a lovely christmas tree with lots of decorations which make it look really nice. The shopping centre always looks clean and tidy and you will always find a cleaner pottering around.

Shops you find in every town in Britain. The Quadrant itself is quite pleasant though, it has a predominently glass roof which allows it to be very bright and airy inside. There's a gallery cafe which looks out on to the main concourse of the shopping centre which is great for people watching. The bus station also comes out of one end, so finding it is very easy, and also you won't have far to carry bags to get a bus. Or even to get to your car if you choose to park in the NCP which also adjoins the Quadrant. You can also get to Swansea Market via an entrance in the Quadrant. The largest store by far is Debehams, which is a large department store and takes up almost an entire wing of its own. ANECDOTE: I was sick on the doors of Debehams one Christmas as I was shopping for presents and very rapidly came down with a virus. There are public toilets (free) upstairs which are clean and well maintained. The buidling is decorated according to the seasons, and a large Christmas tree is the focus during the winter.

On 08/10/2019 they called to say that my car was fixed, apparently it had a loose ignition cable and for this I was charged £72.00. My car was not fixed and remained exactly the same so I returned the car to them on 11/10/2019. On this date I was advised that following diagnostics I should replace the Lamba sensor. The cost on this occasion was £96.60. This did not improve the problem one bit. In short, I have paid £ 168.60 for expert advice and diagnostics but they have in fact diagnosed and fixed nothing.

Their favourite one seems to be headlight re-alignment. I have decided to write this review today after going somewhere else. Guess what the headlights are correctly aligned! First time in 5 MOTs! Coincidence? I am only giving them 1 star as the garage is conveniently located. I did however drive 5 miles further for new place and I am more than happy I did!

However the new Swansea Central library compensates for losing it's listed building by a great expansion, amazing situation in County Hall(I'm now jealous of people working with that view!!) overlooking the sweep of Swansea Bay and the opportunity of books, cds, dvds in a far more comfy set up. Now the danger is in too much distraction when doing some study at the library, the view and opportunity of also having lunch and tea in the cafe next door!

Excellent for anyone wanting somewhere quiet to get on with some work. Excellent views over the bay. The new bendy-bus service provides regular buses to the library from anywhere in Swansea city centre.

Let me down on the second visit. Was left with a leaking radiator which they had installed on the previous visit. Had to continually top up with water until it inevitably wee'd its coolant all over the road. Went elsewhere for another new radiator. Second visit not so good!

I've taken my cars for MOT to DL Motors for 15 plus years and have always been very happy with…read moretheir service, honesty and reliability. Last year on my aging car my exhaust started blowing just before my MOT test was due, on taking it to an exhaust centre I was told it needed a new exhaust, I booked it in for the following day but as it is an older car I decided to take it up to DL with concerns in case there were any major repairs needed for the MOT(was it worth a new exhaust or coming to the end of its' life!). Don, proprietor of DL, came to the rescue as well as doing a pre mot check over which was positive, he informed me that the exhaust was only broken behind the silencer and could be repaired with a sleeve welded on at a minimal cost. That was last August and my car(touch wood) remains safely quiet thanks to the integrity of DL motors saving me a major cost just at the time of MOT test.
