We stayed at Park Point for one night after a trip to Monterey. Everything was fine. Initially we were looking for a place with on-site parking. The room was clean and tidy. A good budget option for a vacation and an overnight stay.

This sign makes me wonder what happened here in the past.

On a recent business trip to SF, I had to book a room for just one night. Online, this seemed like a very nice hotel at a great rate. It doesn't have conveniences like a small fridge or microwave, but all I needed was a decent place to sleep. Upon arriving, the lobby was mainly closed off from foot traffic and only the front desk was accessible. Check in process was fairly easy and I requested for a room with easy parking lot access. Spaces are first come first served. Luckily I got one fairly close to the room. A standard queen room is small. Small TV, a chair by the window, a desk for work, an area to hang your clothes and a typical bathroom. Photos show an updated modern room. But up close details show chipped paint, cracked door, patched up holes and other minor imperfections Being a smoke free property, there's nothing to stop people from hanging out by their door and smoking, with the smell traveling a few rooms down right into mine if I open my door. Nearby, a few food places like Popeyes, Togo, Denny's, Sunk in' Donuts ... etc. Starbucks is 5 minutes away inside a gas station, and their staff has the least personality of all the ones I've been to. There's nothing special about this property. It borders an industrial business on the other side of the fence. I also don't feel it's really family friendly so I wouldn't have my kid stay here. But being very close to the freeway made this an easy choice for my needs. Good for a budget stay.

Nice hotel! The standards here have really gone up! Not sure why everyone gives this place such low stars, but I went recently and it was great! Giving it 5 stars! Pros: - clean sheets, clean rooms - quiet, no homeless people nearby, no machinery - modern rooms, with modern design - warm heaters - free tea/coffee at the lobby - great staff. They give you toothpaste if you ask - hotel looks news, especially on the inside - plenty of parking - low cost - location close to airport - free airport shuttle Cons - don't think there is concierge, so if you are looking for someone to carry you luggage, this is not the place! Overall, a good place to stay!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Got locked out the room at 4am last night and front desk was closed. They had a sign on the door to call a phone number in case this happens, But it was not a valid number. Luckily the hotel across the street was able to book us in one of their rooms after seeing how hysterical I was. All of our stuff was in the room we were locked out of. The next morning, We go to the front desk and the person working there could careless. She told us to call from the room to talk to the manager but of course we still haven't heard back from management at all. When we got back into the room, we noticed the bathtub was filled with dirty water and what looked to be ash. DISGUSTING. When I called the front desk to tell her she accused us saying the manager will check the cameras to see if it was us. ARE YOU KIDDING??? Don't waste your money or time.

    Dirty walls / dirty floor

If I could do a lower rating, I would. The check in process was easy. So the one star is simply for the check in process. The room was not clean. Hair in the shower, crumbs all over the floor, old gum on the floor. I didn't even want my outside shoes on the carpet. I had to take off my comforter, because there was a blood stain in the comforter. When I went and asked for a blanket at the front, I was given a sheet to use because they didn't have any blankets. We are in December.... So using sheets to stay warm was just great. No picture of that one since I didn't want to touch it again. I'm super bummed because each night I dreaded coming back to the hotel to sleep, as I was just disgusted by the state of my room. I would have been better staying at a motel 6. Super disappointed and upset that I paid what I paid. If you're given the chance, steer clear from this hotel.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! This shady hotel will come up with any excuse to keep your deposit. Even before they stole my deposit it was one of the worst hotels l've ever stayed at. There was no hot water, stains in the room, nobody would ever answer the phone at the front desk. I even waited at the front desk but nobody was ever there. If you like to throw your money away, then give this place a shot.

I walked into my room and the carpet was covered in dirt and stains, we looked around more and saw stains all over the walls and a broken light switch. I asked to get a refund and we would leave but they said we could leave but no refund super unhelpful and disgusting I wish I could give a negative grade

Cool place To be. I was chilling up to no good, and I enjoyed my stay. The people were very welcoming, and judge free zone. I was in shock in just how much of a good place this was to stay in. Not that clean, but not that dirty. Thank you.

Sadly park pointe never answers they're phone Seems like the front desk worker doesn't do they're job

Probably the worst experience ever. I should have known when I called before staying and the guy at the front desk answered the phone with "hello?" it would be a bad experience. The first room they gave me had a TV that didn't work properly. I called the front desk and they didn't answer. I walked back to the lobby and told the same front desk guy, and he gave me a new room. In the new room, the A/C didn't work. When I called the front desk again, no one answered. I walked back to the front desk and they gave me another room...the A/C didn't work. Again, no answer when I called the desk. I walked back and they said they will find me a room that is functional. I sat in the lobby for 20 minutes before they found one. The TV was tiny (see picture), and the room obviously hasn't been tended to in months. The ice machine near me didn't work and the vending machine...I'll let you look at the pictures. And to top it all off, when I went to the front desk in the morning to drop off my keycards, the office was empty with all the lights off. Need I say more?

Friendly staff Cons: I specifically requested for a quiet room as I was there for business. For some reason they put a family with small children and a dog directly across from me. Around 10pm when I was getting ready to sleep, I hear a dog barking and kids running around in the hallway. On that point, the room walls seem awfully thin. You can hear different, subtle noises that can be distracting to a light sleeper. You can also hear planes fly by so I recommend bringing ear plugs. There is nothing in the area. You'll need to drive if you want to eat somewhere other than the on-site restaurant. No free breakfast

The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and offered great value for the price. My only minor complaint is that the rooms felt a bit dark and the lighting could be improved. Other than that, I really have no complaints. If you're looking for an affordable hotel close to SFO with convenient overnight parking, this is an excellent choice. If you're expecting a five-star resort with upscale restaurants and luxury amenities, this isn't that type of property but it doesn't claim to be. For the price, it's hard to beat.

We were on the 2nd floor in the 2nd building. Outside of the hotel looks much rougher than the inside. The room was clean, be aware there is no microwave or fridge in the rooms. Water in the shower takes quite a bit of time to get warm enough to get in, they did not provide wash cloths or soap on the sink only shower gel affixed to the shower wall. The door between the sink and bathroom/shower area was a pocket door that was loud & squeaky (not a big deal with just my spouse and I) the fan in the bathroom did not work and there was a large patched hole in the pocket door that was painted an odd color. She was pleasant enough and because I was still an hour away drive from the hotel, she said she would make a note on the reservation that we wouldn't be in until 3a so the hotel wouldn't cancel our room. After taking our CC info, we were relieved to know we had a room for the morning. Fast forward to 3a when we tried to check in.. our room had been canceled. Supposedly I had said we'd be there in 10 minutes (absolutely no way i would've said this coming from SJ to SF). We tried to book while at the hotel and the front desk person said we couldn't. I'm just not understanding why phone agent would take my CC info knowing my room would most likely get canceled. Obviously making a note in the system didn't help. Why couldn't she have contacted the hotel front desk person for us to make sure? Also, since our room was canceled and there was definitely a room available when we arrived (assuming it wasn't the only room available and didn't get booked within the hour we made the reservation until arriving).. why couldn't we book that same room? In any case, we were super tired at 3a hoping to get some sleep before flying out of SFO but instead had to find another room. Highly annoyed.

First off, this is close-by SFO airport and if you are not local to SF, if you stay elsewhere, the traffic going back to the airport can be stressful. There is a parking fee per night of stay ($35 during my stay last week). Your room key is your card pass to the parking lot for most guests. Diamond tier have a more reserved parking spots near the entrance of the hotel. However, when I tried the key cards during my first day of stay, both cards weren't working. There is a help button which they buzzed me in afterwards. Throughout the entire week, the gate at Corporate drive was closed, no coming in and out so I would always have to go around. There was not a day that I didn't try to push the help button because my cards were not working even after asking for it to get check by front desk. Let me just say that all of the front desk agents are great, helpful and informative. With so many amenities, they try their best to explain each information to every guest. The hotel has 4 elevators. 2 at front and 2 at the back. You need to tap your hotel key card before you can push any floor buttons. I stayed in one of their newer rooms, the thermostat was set to a certain temperature. I did not felt any difference even when I changed it. I did not voiced this out because I was in and out of my room a lot. Breakfast is complimentary and they have happy hour every day. Overall, my room was clean but housekeeping was not replenishing everything they took out of my room. Any of my used towels that were not on the floor were taken but not all were replaced. I was not able to use the pool but I saw many kids playing in it during my stay. I can't say anything about the fitness center as I wasn't able to use it either due to my work schedule. If you are light sleeper, you will hear airplanes taking off at any time of the day even when at night.
