I left a comment on my terrible experience with this company 8 months ago, they just reached out on a comment saying message us and we will make it right. It's been 8 months so I'm good. They did this so it looks like they helped me out. They did not. They probably do this to most if not all negative reviews to make it look like they sorted it. They did not. That day of work was still missed for a service that they rescheduled the night prior without notifying me. Unless they mean it and intend to make up for those loss wages which I highly doubt, they are participating in shady yelp practices. DON'T BUY!!! I usually do not write reviews but my experience with parker and sons was so horrible that I had to share it. They installed a brand new HVAC unit for my house and the system randomly stops working for 3-4 hours everyday since the installation day due to compressor problem. After they sent a technician he said the problem should happen in front of me to be able to ask for repair/replacement. So they have not done anything to resolve the problem and I decided to return the unit. read more

Needed a new water softner. Called and a consultant came out. We agreed on a product and pricing. Within 48 hours I had a new system, simply Amazing in these days. My husband and I had parker and sons put a air/heat unit in our manufactured home on September 11,2023. As soon as they turned the unit on, it was so loud, we asked them what can be done about the noise. There is no way we can listen to it for the next 10 years or whenever. They said they would have a supervisor call us. The sales rep who sold us the unit is Michael P. Campbell. He was suppose to send final contract to us as soon as the unit was installed. He never sent anything to us with a final price. We tried numerous times to get a supervisor to come out and they kept sending out technicians. The techs were great but couldnt do anything about the noise. So we are now 10 months later and I finally get a call from Michael Campbell. Now he tells me my husband (who passed away in mid December 2023) said this and that. Michael Campbell lied about what my husband said , so I asked him to send me the contract he signed, that was different then the one I have. He never did. He gave us 2 years interest free. now he says its 1 year. He gave us a home depot card with $750.00 on it, that was going to be used toward the price of the unit. Well now he says no it can not be used for that. The card will expire in september. Home depot dont know anything about the card. I still dont have a total of what I owe them. This unit is so loud it wakes my grandsons up in the night. The boys 1- 4 year old ,twins at 5 years, and a 7 year old wont go use the restroom where the unit is, it scares them because of the noise. It makes noises like a clothes dryer tumbling clothes dry. It also makes moaning sounds after it runs a couple hours. No supervisor has ever been to our house to check it out , and they have never signed off on this unit. They said quiet performance - not Takes about 8 hours to cool from 85 to 78. During the day it wont go below 80 degrees. I am at a lost here , I cannot get ANY HELP from Parker and Sons and I have 1 1/2 months to start paying and do not have a price or the interest rate or payment amounts. The unit is still loud. I have to turn my T.V. volumn up and down when it comes on and turns off. We had air conditioning for the last 20 years and there was no noise issues. Had a technician come install two outlets in our home last week. He was very professional and easy to communicate with. Got the job done quickly and efficiently, and just as we had discussed. The next day, I decided to have another technician come out to install eight more outlets. He was able to show up early in the time slot and good thing too as it ended up being a difficult job as our home is older and many of the electrical circuits are wired in an odd way. He hustled and worked after hours on a Friday to get the job done. I am very pleased with the professionalism and work ethic of both technicians Ivan & Alex. read more

I needed a toilet replaced, I bought the new toilet and scheduled my appt for Parker and sons to replace. They wanted $800 for the installation. I thought that was absolutely ridiculous, the folks said they may be able to call supervision and get it down to $650. I engaged a handyman who did it for $75....it took him 25 minutes. Sorry folks but that much over-pricing is ridiculous! read more

Our water main shutoff valve rusted open. The Parker & Sons team were able to replace the valve within a week of giving us an estimate, they were professional, they were done in only a few hours, and the price was reasonable. And you can't even tell they were there! They put the lanscaping rocks back exactly like they were, originally! My wife and I will always use Parker & Sons, from now on! read more

Called regarding a ceiling fan remote that was inoperative. Responded as scheduled and removed the broken part. Advised for me to order a new part and call when to replace the new unit. Initial cost was $167 for the call plus $50 for the new part. Upon their return to replace the new part I was advised that the fee was now $300 to replace the new part. When questioned the cost I was advised that that was the hourly rate and I had to pay it, or no work would be done. This is not the way a reliable company operates. Service man was very rude when I refused to have the work done at that outrageous fee. Will not recommend Parker and Sons to anyone. read more

Ryan showed up around 3:00 pm. started to replace outside faucet, couldn't just repair it. broke the waterline and said he would be back tomorrow before noon Saturday. no contact from Parker or anyone els, called Parker several times to get information. Ryan called around 6:00 pm Saturday with a sob story and passed the work to someone else. now Sunday morning with no water, still. Will not recommend Parker to ANYONE. read more

Called them for a 4 1/2 year old AC unit that was not putting out cold air. They diagnosed a evaporator coil that was leaking and needed to be replaced. They quoted a $5000 repair and mind you the price of the coil was still under warranty so we were talking about labor and refrigerant. I told them that was way to expensive and would find another company to do the job. The repair was done by another company for $3200 less than their price and within 2 days. Very unhappy with Parker and Sons and would recommend not to call them. And they did keep the $79 they charge to come out to your home. read more

After speaking with the local manger, Robert, for Parker and Sons in Tucson, I am upgrading my review to 2 stars. He agreed to reimburse me for the $100 emergency fee that I had to pay to another plumber to diagnose the water pressure issue. However, communication needs to be better between your dispatch and technicians. Emergency issue aside...If I (or you) had known the decorative remodel cover for the bathroom tile was out of stock and backordered, I could have postponed the work. I had this appointment scheduled for over a week, and it was going to be the same exact install as we had in another bathroom that another one of your technicians had done a couple of weeks prior, so it shouldn't have been a surprise what parts/fascia was needed to complete the job. The job should have been put on hold until all of the parts were in hand. read more

requested to check my services because I was having trouble, the technician went and spoke to him over the phone. when done I asked for a quote because I wanted to fix all that was wrong. he never got back to me, called office to follow up and Receptionist said she would ask him to get back to me. it's been 2 weeks and all I have received is offers to all the services and no quote!! We had a 23 yr old HVAC problem, getting cold air only. They came out the same day to give us an assessment and options to fix or replace. We decided to replace on Tuesday, and it was installed on Thursday. Warm and cozy just in time for the freeze. The men who came to do the work were great. Showed up on time, were courteous and kept us informed as they worked. They also saw our solar water heater and noticed that there was a leak and suggested we have another Parker look it over. We hired Parker & Sons (through The Home Depot) to replace our water heater. They did a good job of replacing the old water heater the same day. A month later, the timer stopped working. They diagnosed the problem, the timer had to be replaced. However, we replaced it ourselves because we didn't want to wait until the next day to have them do it. After I complained to Parker & Sons, they agreed to refund the cost of the timer & their service fee. Everyone I dealt with, from the schedulers to the service technicians, was professional, helpful, and on time. Even though their fees are high, I recommend and would hire Parker & Sons in the future. read more

We had three drains backing up in the house I called and got estimates from three other companies they were all over $10,000. Steve from Parker and sons came out unclogged the drains in less than 2 hours. He was honest and efficient and I wouldn't use anyone else. I knew the drains were clogged and not broken and I wasn't going to pay an exorbitant amount of money to unclog drains. I did a Google search for the highest rated plumbers in Tucson and their name came up, this was after the other estimates I had gotten. I understand now why they are the highest rated plumbers in Tucson. The price was under $500 and well worth it. read more

Matt came by to re-hook up the lines and pipes under our kitchen sink and install two toilets. He was so pleasant and very diligent. Though it took a long time to hook up the lines, he never complained. Later that night, we noticed that there was no water going to the refrigerator so, the next morning, we called and he came back out again. He had forgotten to turn a knob. He fixed it. I went on line to the Home Depot website requesting information about Generac whole house generators. Less than an hour later I was contacted by a representative from Parker & Sons and he scheduled an in-home appointment to assess my needs about 10 days out (Thursday, 9/5 between 8 AM and 11 AM). I also received an e-mail confirming that appointment. Well guess what. Thursday, 9/5 came and went, no representative, no phone call or e-mail. I phoned the company at 1 PM and after the automated telephone tree (you know the drill...press 1 for?, press 2 for ? etc. ) I had to listen to about 5 minutes of elevator music before I was able to speak to a real person, then another real person (a customer representative). I was on hold again while she "researched" my information only to determine that someone had been delayed and could they reschedule my appointment. My response was that I was not used to doing business that way and that I would find another vendor to work with. I would much rather do business with a small company where a live person answers the telephone. read more

a big storm left the cables running to our house dangling. We called Parker and sons to fix this electrical problem a little over two weeks ago. JC came and looked at it and told us they could have it fixed in a couple of days. So we payed the down payment that same day and two weeks later and we still have no power, they haven't even started on fixing it. I've been calling them every day asking what the issue is and they tell me something different every time! First they need a city permit. I call the next day and they say the permit is accepted and they need a permit from TEP now. I called TEP and they don't even do permits. So I call Parker and sons back and now they say the city permit actually isn't accepted. This company has never given me a direct answer and has left me without power in the middle of the summer for two weeks now. They say they'll call me back every time with answers but I've never received a call from them. I just want my power back man read more
