I was driving down Coldwater rd this morning and one of their drivers in a large semi tow truck changed lanes and almost hit my car. He proceeded to tail gate me at 10:30 in the morning with loads of traffic. I had to stop at a red light and when it turned green he got as close to me as possible, very angry waving his arms for me to go. There was a pedestrian crossing the street. I couldn't go. This company is irresponsible for hiring such angry employees who use their semi to intimidate other drivers. I called and was told they would find out the drivers name and speak to him. He needs more than a few words. He needs reprimanded. I would never use them. Their employees need vetted before they give them a 30,000 pound semi to drive on our city streets! read more

RUN! This company does Not care how they treat your vehicle! Unfortunately my car died when it was below freezing temps. We called our emergency road side service with state farm. The police Unfortunately declared it "abandoned" before a Reputable towing company could get there, which was only 90 min. Parkers takes cars to the impound and could not care less how they treat your vehicle because they have "immunity" as they made sure to let us know. They caused $3400 worth of damage and did not even bother letting me know. They made sure to charge $300 to get the vehicle released to a Reputable company tho! read more

May 13, 2025, at 6a I'm driving to work from Fort Wayne IN to Waterloo. I hit a deer front left drivers' side while I was in the Northbound Lane of I69 (right lane). My vehicle's safety feature enabled- After the airbags deployed my vehicle's kill switch enacted and I wasn't able to move to the shoulder or anything. It was hard to see and even breathe once my driver's door airbag and the steering column airbag deployed so I rolled the passenger side window down. I could see his headlights and began hearing someone shout. I put hazards on and pushed the door open hard- it was metal grinding on metal. I saw what looked like 14 bright dots approaching fast. I ran to the side of the road where a man had pulled over. This man said," get back and get down towards the ditch- this is the second accident I've seen like this in a year in a half and it's about to get ugly. Neither of us were able to dial out to 911. With what felt like 2 minutes of us just standing in the ditch. I saw several speeding cars jump lanes until one couldn't jump over and nailed my parked SUV going at least 70+ MPH. The experience was unnerving. I had just started a new job 3 weeks prior. I was trying to push through shock and uncertainty. I was on the phone with insurance and told where my vehicle was towed. I went to Parker's Towing on St. Joe Center Rd and attempted to get my purse out the vehicle. The women in the office that had long blonde/brown hair was extremely abrasive. She asked me if I had my driver's license. I said no it was in my car, I told her I needed to get my purse. She told me I couldn't get my purse. I needed $364 cash. I asked her if she could write that down for me. She repeated herself saying, "it's $364". I told her I didn't have my phone and again asked if she could write it down. She repeated herself 3x, before telling me I was the problem. It hadn't even been 4 hours since my accident. I was still dealing with my parasympathetic system being on overload, being in shock and just an array of emotions. This woman could have just been kind, instead she chooses to be rude and demeaning. I immediately called Mr. Yoder with Progressive Insurance and told him to note my account. IF I EVER NEED A TOW MY ACCOUNT NEEDS TO SAY NO PARKERS- I'LL PAY $1000 OUT OF POCKET BEFORE I EVER GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN. I get back there the next day only to find this same woman with long brown dirty blonde hair on the phone with someone. I work in the scrap world- it sounded like they were trying to sell a vehicle for scrap based off the bits and pieces that I heard her replying. The woman could've been a partner and made a few suggestions. Instead, she became loud and said she didn't know, that wasn't her job and she hung up on them. If I could rate a double zero I would. They were so rude to us. The lady at the front desk acted all high and mighty and wouldn't listen to what we had to or the insurance. She was very rude. You have to pay to see your own car. She was so rude she kicked us out of the office because she created us to have an attitude. And not to mention how they threatened us and almost backed up their cars into our only car that we had and tried to run us over and scare us. read more

Good place to come and put the hook up in your hooptie when you are a few car notes behind on payment. They will come on out and get that vehicle right out of there in a hurry. They accommodate all kinds of vehicles , Cadillac , Buick , land yachts with them 20 inch wheels! haven't made your payment? they will gladly get you hooked up. Behind on them car payments? but you own the rims? not a problem they will take them too! great place! they keep the hoopties up in a secure fenced area until you figure out what you're going to do legally to take care of this! Parker service towed my rental vehicle after an accident, I was taken off in an ambulance. When I got out of the hospital, I needed to get my items out of the car including my wallet and medications. Parker Service would not let me take anything out of the car without paying the $480 tow bill in cash and providing ID (I don't have that much cash). I just needed my medications, I was then stuck without a vehicle, no wallet/license/credit cards and none of my required meds. Staff is rude, condescending, arrogant and extremely unhelpful. They kept all of it, would not return anything that belonged to me. read more

Towed my 25,000 classic car with 0 respect. Luckily I followed them to the yard because they let it hang sideways on the back of the flatbed, allowing it to cross the center line most of the travel. Missing windshield trim pieces. They were trying to make this dollar so hard they had a bungy cord holding the steering wheel instead of turning off the ignition key to lock the steering wheel. A sign of the business and their website states open on Saturday, but they're not. They'll still charge you for the weekend storage though, as well as any other fees they want to add on. Call Robinson's instead. Parker has a contract with the city and now the county, so you know it's shady. read more

My stepson truck broke down, and was parked on the side of the road, out of the way, of traffic. I had called Parker's, and explained to them, our situation! The truck couldn't be moved, because of a broken tie rod, and that, I wanted a tow to my residence, which was, only about 1-mile away,. They told me, it would be about 3 hours, I asked, if it would be ok, and asked if it wouldn't get picked up by police, they said, that they, are affiliated with the police department, and that, if it was called in, by the police, that it, would be on file for pick up, through them. My car got picked up, and impounded, now they want to charge, impound fees!! That is really bad business!! I will never call, or suggest anyone, to call Parker's for a Tow!! Ever again!! I got stranded at the Kroger's, Parker Service Towing came by quickly with a flat-bed and in 10 minutes he got my car up and took it straight to the dealership for service. He was an expert and professional, friendly, and got the job done quickly. Met up with him at the dealership. Very reasonable price. Had my car towed by them from the scene of an accident, outrageous fees, terrible customer service, and completely disorganized. I spent 25 minutes on hold with them trying to figure out where they took my car and was transferred to three different people. Fort Wayne Police need to stop using their services, they are completely unprepared to handle a large business. Told me two different prices for how much it would cost to have my car removed from their tow yard. read more

My boyfriend was in a bad accident, and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. His car was towed on a Thursday night which was not a holiday. The office was closed Friday through Monday even though Christmas was on Sunday. I called the office to get a breakdown of costs since I needed to get house keys the rude lady that works at the impound lot said the only thing I can say is don't have an accident on the holiday. which I explained to her wasn't on a holiday. I then asked why all the tow trucks are in service if the office is closed. and there is a $50 a day fee on top of the charges if we are not able to retrieve the vehicle. The company should actually provide training for customer service skills as well as phone etiquette. read more

I called again at 10:15am she said I didn't talk to her ok guess they have more then 1 Laura. She said they're extremely busy! really they are buying other company's out & supposedly have over 20 trucks but can't show up. It's funny they have a truck in the addition across the street from me & I only want to go a few miles. It takes 3 weeks to get into the shop so now I'm gonna have to re/sch this is a bunch of crap. I asked if somebody I know was working & she said not today really!!!! I guess they have to buy these other towing company's out so they don't have no competition. Someone hit my My truck and total it on November 1. Within hours we went to get my possessions out of the truck. The 1st try to get us to pay for both cars from the accident being towed. Then they said if we just want to get our possessions out of the vehicle it would cost us $195. They never said if you want your stuff out before they towed to get it out or they will keep it! We told insurance this And they couldn't get through to talk to the office. After 13 days and then holding my possessions hostage they finally said there's a form the insurance needs to submit After 13 days. They wouldn't allow us to get my possessions out of my truck till the 15th day after the accident and they took everything out of the cab and put it in the back of the truck and many of my possessions are missing. This company is a scammer!!! I cannot believe that they are in business with these dirty tricks they play! read more

I received a text from this company, claiming that I asked for roadside assistance. For crying out loud I live in Seattle, and not Fort Wayne! I called the business just now, and what did I get? An attitude! Unbelievable! I'm trying to help them call the person because I believe the put in the wrong area code. But that's their problem now. That lady on the phone just hung up on me. Not a good place to work. They tell you one thing a do another. They set rules and when you follow them they terminate you. They train you as a call taker and then shove you into dispatching with out any training. You will work for others that dont want to work. They have a head dispatcher herself that will call you in early to work so that she can leave. If she has to work a weekend she or has plans will try to get out of it by having others do it for her. As dispatcher you can only pass information that is given to you to others if not given you can but ultimately you are to blame for everything. Drivers get away with way more than they should. Some drivers never have all the equipment to do the job. As a dispatcher on night you do not have the proper knowledge of the trucks always having to call someone to dispatch for a semi and trailer can never make the call. Just all in all not a very good company to work for. No warnings or write ups they will terminate you while owning you money and wont pay you. They have call takers in there that does not even put things in the computer correctly. If they truly wanted to fix things there was other people that should have cleaned house. read more

They told me it would be a few hours to have my car towed to the repair shop from there place 5 hrs later and 3 calls and vehicle still not there. I drove 1.5hrs to get into the vehicle so I had to wait until it arrived. read more

My car broke down on a Saturday due to an ignition coil pack failure. I called my insurance company. They set up a tow service call. Parker's came and picked up the car. When they dropped it off at the repair shop the oil pan was crushed and oil was leaking all over the ground. I called Parker's and explained the damage that they had caused and that the repair shop said that there could be further damage, but they would have to take a look. Parker's implied that the oil pan could have already been damaged prior to their tow service. I assured them that the oil pan was fine before they picked up the car. They said that the manager would have to call me back. No call on Monday. I tried to call them on Tuesday and no call back. I finally got a call back from Parker's after my insurance agent got involved. Parker's said that the repair shop could send them an estimate for the damages. Parker's did not want to run this incident through their insurance company. They said that they would pay for the damage themselves. Parker's did not offer me a rental car or any other assistance. They just wanted an estimate and to get the damage repaired. I figured it would be a week or 2 at the most and I would have my car fixed. The repair shop said that my car definitely needed a new oil pan but that it is a dealer only item and that it was on national backorder. I drove my parents extra car and waited for the part to come in. After 8 weeks the repair shop told me that the part was still on backorder. I had not had any calls or communication from Parkers during this 8 week period. I called Parkers to ask for a rental car because I did not want to keep putting miles on my parents car. I told them they should have provided a rental car from the start. A message was left with the manager, but I could not get him to call me back. After several days, I called my insurance agent to ask for some help and amazingly, Parker's called me that afternoon. They would not provide a rental car. They said that they would only provide me with a used oil pan from the junk yard. When I said that their offer was not good enough, they said that they would run the incident through their insurance company, and walk away from the whole thing. That was a week ago, I have not heard from Parker's insurance company. I would give them a rating of 0 Stars if I could. read more

Parker has towed many vehicles for me and always do a great job. Drivers have always been very nice and helpful! Due to the business I am in I have anything from cars to heavy duty trucks that I need towed from time to time. They always get the job done. Keep up the great work! read more

I called for a tow truck at 7:30 am, was told a driver would be there within the hour. 90 minutes later still no tow truck. I call and am told the driver will be there in 20 minutes, 1 hour later still no driver. 10am, 3 calls later, still stranded. They took the $50 fee immediately. I called today 01/19/2018 around 3pm to have my truck towed. I called back at 5:30pm because nobody had shown up and wanted to get eta. I was told that they have a contract with the city, so when there is a accident they have to give that priority, fine, I was also told that they would be out by 7pm. Nobody showed at seven, called again with the same B.S excuse. So I cancelled the order (which I prepaid) and I'm going to call Blue Eagle towing. The day was sunny and 32 degrees out, only one accident reported today, NO T a very busy day. I guess that they make enough money from the city to be bothered by anybody else. read more

Apparently I am not the only one who feels the way I do about these guys.. If you call them out, especially on Facebook, they will band together and fire insults and smartass remarks in their defense.. They ask sarcastic questions about accusations THEY make back at people.. I see they have done to others like they tried to do with me.. Telling people I endangered the lives of others, posting information that is nobody else's business, and other things that were UNTRUE.. Telling people I was charged with things, that were later dismissed in court.. They are contracted out with Allen County Sheriff, and Ft Wayne Police Department.. If they were not, they would probably treat more people with respect.. If you get towed because of a law enforcement order, this company shows absolutely NO respect, and treats you like you are automatically guilty of the crime before knowing all the FACTS.. I fee bad giving one star, because I'm a pretty easy to please person, but the customer service I experienced with this company was horrendous. I used my roadside assistance to tow my car to my husband's dealership because it needed to be checked out. The guy that towed my car was nice enough, but when my car got to the dealership, the back windshield was SHATTERED. Not just a couple cracks, it was so shattered that literally the only thing holding it together was the tint! I went back and forth with this company for 2.5 WEEKS and finally they paid for it to be fixed. It took a LOT of hassle and a LOT of phone calls and runaround but I'm glad they finally owned up to their mistake. The entire time the owner kept going back and forth with me stating that it was like that when they picked it up, which is clearly not the case! And it didn't happen at the dealership because I personally know *plenty* of people who work there and I know they would take good care of my car since my husband works there. Nonetheless, they eventually paid for it but it had me without a car for almost 3 weeks because of their mistake. If they would have just owned up to it in the beginning it would have been a much smoother process! That's what business insurance is for! read more

A terrible experience. I spoke to them on three occasions. Verifying hours, location, price and no one mentioned that it was cash only. Who doesn't take cards? Next I arranged to have the vehicle delivered and they managed to not follow directions and delivered to the wrong address. A shit hole to put it mildly. read more

I was having my car towed to my location. This began at 2pm when I went in and paid for the re-towing. They said it would take 3 hours. At 7pm I called and asked if they were on the way and they said it would take another couple hours. Again I called at 9:30p and they said another hour or so. At 10:30p I called again and still getting the run around and my car never got delivered. Adele is the girl on the phone who gave me a sob story trying to make me feel bad about all the cars they need to tow that have been in accidents. She said "if it was your loved one in an accident wouldn't you want us to make them a priority?" My response was, "since you aren't an ambulance service it shouldn't matter that you are simply picking up a car" she was trying to manipulate me! Still no car yet. Sucks that this unprofessional "business" is one of the only options in town. Update: I called one last time that night and they said it would be at my location 8am the FOLLOWING DAY! Well they didn't show up until 9:30am and that was after we had to call again! Worst company worst service! read more

I had an accident yesterday in an intersection and the police called Parker. I told the Parker tow driver I wanted to have it towed to my house. The tow truck driver promptly said that was ' an extra charge.' This Parker employee seemed to be more interested in how I would pay, i.e. cash or credit card than in what I wanted.. and I was paying his company to 'help me' in this matter. I matter-of-factly shared with him how I know that Parker has a contract with the Police department to tow and that the rates are much higher via that agreement then when they are called without Police doing it. The Parker employee was quick to 'correct' me on who the contract was with police-wise and told me "if you would let me finish talking". I then said "I did not know you were not done,, go ahead and finish sir." I had enough of this attitude from the Parker employee and told him politely if he would then tow the car to the private parking lot just outside the intersection, (next to the crash site). He said he had to 'check on if he could do that'! He did then. I was charged 45 dollars for a 250 foot tow by Parker. The tow receipt only had my first name on it and I payed cash. HMMMMM? I wonder who really got the money? I also called AAA who showed up minutes later . The difference in customer service was night and day. AAA was professional, friendly, demonstrated a genuine interest in my interests and well being in this matter. I would not recommend Parker for towing service. AAA always if you have a choice! read more
