It's ridiculously expensive as any hotel in Switzerland is, and it's a hassle to get an ironing board as the same as any hotel in Europe.

We have family living in the area and have been to the Waldheim at least five times over the past 5…read moreyears. It is getting better each time. Tonight we had a very fine meal. The atmosphere was welcoming and spacious. The waiter was knowledgeable. The food was delicious. The gemischte salad had corn and beets and cucumbers and very fresh lettuces. The steak bernaise was accompanied by red cabbage, fennel, and spinach servings that were by themselves superb. The chef visited every table. We were happy to compliment him in person. We will return.

Pricewise, its exorbitant for what you get but I guess this is Switzerland, and this is Baar, located in one of the most expensive cantons in Switzerland. Even the breakfast was more skimmed and not the performance / price ratio reasonable. Promises will get there within 15 minutes by technical problems to worry about in my specific case it was a heater can not stop reading. Had then slept with windows open to allow some to bear. Although the reception the information it had in our group are also many Muslims the breakfast was not adjusted. That means for Muslim customers seems the hotel is not really suited to be. Perhaps the change in the near future. All in all, I also felt as strange that one is not the luggage and we took care of himself breakfast should be clear. Thank God that we needn`t to make the beds and not too clean ;)
