Another great meal at Park's with Leon giving the assist! Always great to see your smiling face and enjoy your thoughtful service! Today was a birthday splurge, so we went with the Park's Galbi beef short ribs in their signature sauce. Leon demonstrated the various levels from medium to well cooked, giving them just a slight crispness and caramelized texture - FABULOUS! We also had our staple black cod which is always amazing. Japchae and steamed dumplings filled out our order. PLENTY of great banchan, but my favorites are, mung beans, kimchi, the fish cake, spicy cucumbers, salad & rice wrappers, while my friend also really likes Park's potato salad to cool the spice of the dishes. We tend to get to Park's around 3pm, which is a perfect lull time with a very casual, relaxed vibe and quiet enough to have a nice conversation. Leon surprised me with a lovely vanilla ice cream with sweet red beans and a toasty rice crunch, topped with a candle. Thanks, Leon for making this an extra special meal. Cheers! "CC"

My family and I really wanted to try a KBBQ place in LA since we heard the KBBQ scene is great. Unfortunately, we were a little overwhelmed by the ambiance and underwhelmed by the food. When we sat down, we felt really neglected in the corner and then once we were noticed, we felt completely rushed. Now, this might be controversial, but sometimes I can ignore the bad when the food is really good. I wish this was the case here. Maybe it's my fault to come into this with high expectations, but the meat quality was fine and the banchan was nothing to write home about. I expected the kimchi to at least be solid but everything just tasted mediocre.

Park's BBQ definitely is super popular for a reason. The meat quality is great, and their sides are arguably even better. I came with friends and had a great time, and I noticed a lot of famous Korean celebrities have visited and left their autographs on the walls! I can't wait to come back again!!

Food was good, but pricey. Service was amazing. All the servers took good care of me. Ambiance was lively. Not too crowded, but full.

Fantastic meat... ok service. Those 4 words pretty much sum up Park's BBQ. With high quality, nicely marbled meat grilling right in front of you...what's not to like? If you're new to Korean BBQ, don't worry, as they have lots of sampler items where you can taste their selection. Our table really enjoyed the ribeye cap, as well as the brisket...both so flavorful with the right amount of fat to keep things juicy. In terms of service, ordered lettuce leaf wraps but they arrived after the meat was already grilled and mostly eaten. Also felt like they forgot about us when waiting for the check... but hey, it was a busy Saturday night. It's located in a mini-mall, but don't worry about parking as they have a $6 valet, which means you don't have to search for a spot before letting the meat hit the spot.

It's been while since we've been back here. Loved the service and the quality of meats are always fantastic. Loved the Park's BBQ and Father's office beer collaboration. We had a great dinner with our friends who were visiting us from out of town.

Ordered takeout and WOW the short rib beef soup was DELICIOUS. Meat was super tender & it came with so many sides. I definitely want to go back to try more. The delivery came in personal insulated bags.

It's been about a year since I went to Park's BBQ. I went to Park's BBQ on 1/5/2024, Friday evening in Ktown LA with My Mom and one of my brothers for dinner. And, it was kinda surprising. We ran into Dana Devon who is KTLA5 news anchor & reporter. We took some photos all together and had a good chatting. She has a wonderful personality, is exceptionally beautiful, and being a journalist, she's also very intelligent. She told me that it was her son's birthday that day, so they were all there for a family dinner. We had the chance to greet and chat with her son, daughter, and even her husband. It was a delightful experience, and we left with a very positive feeling. It was so cool and great Friday evening. And, yes. All of the meats at Park's BBQ were delicious, and the salad and all of the side dishes were good as well. The service was also good. I've also heard that the famous Korean celebrity Psy stop by here whenever he's in Los Angeles.

This is a very popular bbq place in koreatown that you will probably want to visit at least once because it is so well known and you can't go wrong with the food. The food is really good! The highlight is their side dishes. They are unique and so tasty- kudos to the chef making the banchans. The meats (I got platter 1 so I could try a variety of beef) were good. I wouldn't say best I ever had but were very good. I appreciated that the waiters cooked for you. Here is why I will probably not be returning. The price is very high. They charge per bowl of rice. It doesn't just automatically come with the meat which is standard. You also have to pay to park in the lot. So at this point I felt nickeled and dimed. The part that annoyed me the most is at the end when you're given your check and you pay and they quickly ask for tip with the credit card machine. I went to press the designated amount (18 percent) and then looked at the receipt later and realized it was 18 percent of the total (with the tax). There are a handful of restaurants that do this and it just feels shady because it is the standard to tip on pretax amount. You don't tip on tax. You actually end up tipping 25 percent which is fine if you choose to do so but not when it's disguised and you do so unknowingly. So the platter 1 menu price was only 140 but somehow after all the nickeling and diming I spent over $200 and heck no- the food was not worth over $200!

Parks BBQ is the best spot for high-quality Korean BBQ and a really enjoyable dining experience for any group size. From the food to the service, everything felt carefully prepared and delivered. The beef and pork selections are top-notch. The beef is tender, well-marbled, and full of flavor, while the pork is just as good, juicy, fresh, and grilled perfectly. You can really tell the quality of the meat that stands out compared to many other BBQ places. It was a deluxe experience. The staff cook the meat for you, slice it, and let you know once it's ready. You can just sit back and enjoy the meal without worrying about overcooking anything. The side dishes are plentiful and delicious. The pickled cucumbers and kimchi are fresh and well-balanced, the mashed potatoes are creamy, and the chap chae is so delicious. Fun addition such as tacos with corn on the side, which add variety and pair well with the grilled meats. And of course, cold beer and soju are especially refreshing and a perfect match for Korean BBQ. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

Love the variety you get in this combo of 4 different types of meat (pork jowl which is more of try expensive type of pork as some places only include pork belly in the combos), soup, cheese deep, and kimchi pancake. It's pretty affordable compared to other kbbq spots in terms of quantity and quality. They don't skimp on the sides as some places will take awhile to give you more.

As soon as you walk in you're greeted with a bunch of pictures on the wall, their "Wall Of Fame". It's really cool to see all the different celebrities that have been here, and once you eat here, you understand why. The quality of the meat is HIGH, it's different than other Korean BBQs. It's not all you can eat. But it is probably one of the best à la carte Kbbq you can get. Their Japchae is amazing, we had to order more after trying the first one, it's a must have. We ordered 2 P2's as a party of 10, it was the perfect amount and has good variety, if anything, more than we could ask for. They are priced higher than other Kbbq's, but for what you're getting in terms of high quality and service, it is well worth the price.

Second time at Park's BBQ and had another great experience! We ordered the P1 set which comes with five different meats and all the usual side dishes. Their Napa cabbage kimchi is probably my favorite kimchi I've had anywhere around here. Meat was delicious and I like that the servers will cook it for you (not that I mind cooking it myself but it's nice to have that service provided). We also ordered some sides of rice which were $2 a piece. Parking is $5 and valet only, which honestly saves us from the headache of having to look for parking in the area. The valet takes Venmo which is nice.

Ask the Community - Park's BBQ

Do they have outdoor seating? If so, can a pet dog visit the outdoor seating?

They have outdoor seating but not sure about the dog. I would call them to find out.

Is it by reservation only? Do they take walk ins?

    Walk in

    Is there halal options?

No that don't. This place is no good

Are there tvs to watch playoff games?? Trying to decide if we should adjust our reservation tomorrow or if we can keep it and watch the warriors/kings game. Thanks!

They have tvs there, but not sure if you can request sitting near one (I expect a lot of people will be thinking of the same thing)

Can Parks BBQ seat a large group of 12-15 in the same area?

I'd say yes. There was a huge wedding party there last time we were there.

    Is this place kosher?

What do you think? Of course it isn't,

    What's the corkage fee here?

How much is it per person?

You order on their menu a la carte

Is their outdoor tented have plastic walls or is there open air flow?

They have actual walls and is enclosed. No open air flow.

Is there a minimum order for Friday night dinner for 2 people ordering Seng Galbi? Can you order just one order of Seng Galbi for a party of 2?

    Minimum 2 orders!

    Are there gluten free options?

Yes. There are lots of meats, vegetables and soup. Try the Japchae which are noodles made from sweet potatoes

Does any of the food contain nuts?

Is there any outdoor seating still for lunch? Husband is immunocompromised and isn't comfortable dining inside at the moment. I'm seeing conflicting information and wondering which is most current. Thanks in advance!!

How much does it charge from my credit card if I cancel or change my reservation?

4/16/22 - I just made a reservation, and it not require me to provide a credit card. All they ask for is: name, phone number, party #, and desired time.

Are dogs allowed in the outdoor seating area?

I observed small dogs with their owner in the outdoor patio. So it seems at least small dogs are allowed.

Do you need a reservation to eat outdoors here?

yes you will need reservations for all seating here they are extremely popular

    Do they have outdoor dining?

    Not when we were there

Sre theh open for tske out during stay at home order?

Yes. See their mobile Instagram account for a picture of their current takeout menu. Last I looked it was about 5 photos in. The PC Instagram account looks different and I didn't see the menu there. Be sure to order the $9.99 short rib soup. It's… Read more

We ordered the El trio platter, which comes with 1 lbs of brisket, 1 lbs of pork ribs, 2 sausages (chili relleno and cheddar jalapeno) and 2 sides (which we chose Mac and cheese and red potato salad). We also saw the burgers from YouTube so got 2 of the Thicc burgers to share among everyone. We got a sides of the Texas chili to try. Everything was great. Our group really enjoyed the food and everyone said the BBQ was some of the best they've had. The brisket was really tender and seasoned well. Everything was seasoned well actually. The burger was great. It was soft, great flavor and was just really solid. One of the best burgers I've had. The ribs were everyone's least favorite, but that just means the other food tasted better. Ribs were still good. All the sides were delicious as well. The Texas chili was great, the Mac and cheese was creamy and the potato salad tasted homemade. We could tell it was made in house. The sweet iced tea was refreshing, not overly sweet b Overall, I'll have to come back here to try their desserts and other items. I'll for sure be getting the burger and brisket again.
