Found Dental Dawson online and ended up with Dr. Vyas. I was scared in pain and extremely apprehensive about seeing a NEW dentist. After having had a previous experience that was not ideal, I was reluctant to find a new dentist that I could trust. Dr.Vyas is knowledgeable and explains everything to you in understandable terms. His positivity and empathy for his patients is heartwarming. He took the time to fully go over my dental health, presented several options on how to proceed, and focused on reducing my pain and stress right away. I simply can't say how impressed and thankful I am to Dr. Vyas for going the extra mile to make sure that I felt at ease and comfortable during my first visits with them recently. Everyone in the office, even the front office staff, let me know that they all genuinely cared about me as a patient and that I was in good hands. I should know, I've spent a fortune on dental work done by him. Including complex gum surgery. He keeps up to date and attends dental conferences on an annual basis. Seems to be constantly learning more than the bare minimum needed for continuous professional development requirements. Some of their dental hygienists are very good too; attention to detail and keep your teeth very clean. Some other dentists who clean, and other hygienists, have been nowhere near as good. If price isn't the highest concern on the list for you in choosing a dentist in the area, I highly recommend him.

They screwed up my bite and I lost the ability to chew normally because my teeth won't come together anymore. 2 of the fillings fell out within 2 weeks. They caused so much damage to my gums on one side that its now a massive food trap that won't stop bleeding. They refused to correct or fix their failures. Do NOT go here, they will cause more problems than they fix and they are not qualified to be dentists.

Well organized and effective, but not professional…read more I started my treatment in 2015, spent 6880 CAD in total. Guess what, I barely had the chance to see Dr. Luis. He checked my status every now and then in 1 or two min within my two years of treatment. What was worse, they changed my doctor without even noticing me at the last stage of my treatment. I told the new doctor my bite was not good, my jaws were sour. But the new doctor told me everting is fine. I was like, what???? Also, they put a metal wire on my teeth for retention after my treatment, telling me it will last lifetime. That is so not true, the wire fell off recently and I can not even find a place to fix it.

They are only in the office a couple days per week so it is difficult to get an appointment. Expect your child to miss school for every appointment. Every time my child went in to get their braces adjusted, they had to return to get something corrected. For example, they didn't clip a wire close enough and it went into the cheek. And if they are in pain, your option is to drive for a couple hours to another location or leave them in pain for several days. My child's teeth are straight but they seem to be at a weird angle. If you decide to talk to them about work, make sure you talk to a second orthodontist to determine whether you are paying too much.
