I checked out the type of people for diversity which is important to me. During a meet and greet time I had a colored couple come up to me. That was good. There is a cross up on the wall, and a piano. They have activities for all. I signed up for Christmas church decorating, also signed up for the Angel tree gifts.

Northside wasn't just a church, it was a family as I made many friends and acquired a mentor or two. Many of these friends I still keep up with today. The biblical teaching was rock solid and in line with scripture. If you live in Victoria and are looking for a church to attend, don't pass up on visiting Northside Baptist Church.

Childcare is available for all the services. They love new people coming to visit and worship with us; would love to have you come visit us, and become part of the family. A Spanish speaking service is also available and they also have a Saturday night service is you can't make it on Sunday.

I found that and a welcoming environment with like minded souls. I'm interested in social justice issues and found this is a great place to discuss and act on those issues. Coffee starts at ten for mingling, service starts at 10:30 with a new speaker each week. The actual service is not very long because part two is a discussion circle. I left feeling inspired, with more direction, and, I think, new friends!
