In town for work. Came in for a late breakfast. The joint is an old school diner car. My coworker had some type of egg scramble. I ordered a Smash Burger with a salad. The burger came out quickly so I thought it was going to be dry as a lizards back in summer in the Gobi desert. It was the polar opposite. It was juicy and the veg within was crisp and fresh, the side salad wasn't too bad either. Tried their homemade balsamic vinaigrette...tasty. The young blonde waitress was cute as a button. If you find yourself in Burlington VT getting ready to board a small aircraft...eat here.

The food was delicious! My husband said best pancakes he's ever had! The service was attentive and friendly. We sat outside and enjoyed the warm breeze. Outside can use a little more shade, but it was still a great diner to have a delicious meal.

Disappointed honestly. This place is always packed I thought that meant it would be amazing, sadly not. Husband got the French toast, the bread was super thin and it wasn't cooked through. The avocado in my burrito bowl was from a container and browned. Bacon was burnt and the pico had a sour taste. I couldn't finish it. $16 dollars for a tiny bowl of mostly burnt hash browns. The establishment is cute and the workers are nice but there's way better places for breakfast

Best breakfast I've had in years. Every thing is farm to table. Great service and love the diner atmosphere.

I rose early to schlepp up to Burlington for the eclipse. I had a ticket for an event hosted at/by the Burlington Airport, and was expecting traffic to be astronomically bad (pun intended). I lucked out with traffic and had several hours to kill, plus a minimal breakfast at home meant I was hungry. I had a mission: find food that wasn't an overpriced bag of chips from Hudson News. I found the Parkway Diner about a half-mile away, and it seemed to fit the bill perfectly. It was notably busy (surprise, surprise), but there were a couple counter seats available, and I was able to park myself in (on?) one. After seeing a Breakfast Burrito Bowl leaving the kitchen bound for another table, it was decided. Pancakes could wait until next time. I found this dish was filling and solid in the flavors department, but there were still some key issues keeping it in 3-star territory. First the good: the eggs and potatoes were cooked very nicely, and the pico topping seemed very fresh. On the not-great side, the bacon and cheese was rather sparse. As for the avocado, it seemed to be a couple days from being ripe. Finally, I get that pico and avocado are from the fridge, but cold ingredients on top of hot eggs leads to room temperature everything. Having them off to, or on the side may be a better bet. Finally, where it comes to the service, because of how busy it was, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. No one was standing around twiddling their thumbs, and a machine was well oiled as my breakfast haunt back home is one of a kind. A couple extra minutes are easily forgiven, however, a "we'll be right with you" would have been appreciated. Thus, an A-OK diner for getting some food in you, but not a foodie destination by any means.

The worst diner food by far I've ever had. The slop of biscuits with minimal gravy (cold biscuits) bacon so hard (cold) we almost broke a tooth. Not worth the money. The manager lady was not personable. I've traveled all over the country...I've eaten at many diners. By far the worst I've ever had. The slop plate of cold biscuits with minimal gravy was $20. Uggghh Also, this place inside was falling apart.

Old school diner vibe with classic fare - easy choice! Service was prompt and very friendly - no wait at 9 AM on a weekday. The menu was pretty standard, but a couple of food items stood out. Home fries were first rate, as were the veggie sausage patties. Shout-out to the English Muffins, made in-house. Great breakfast option in the Burlington area!

Worst brunch ever. Toast arrived cold with butter on the side. Over easy eggs with hard yoke. Cold and overcooked bacon. Overpriced. Did not finish meal.

This is a great little old school diner. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Good breakfast with their homemade sausage patties and homemade jam. Quick friendly service. The egg Benedict looked fantastic. I would definitely pop in here on my next Burlington visit.

Expensive and not worth it. The food was not great. Eggs, bacon, pancakes- how do you mess that up...and yet...

Decent food in a neat old dinner car. Not anything fancy. Small so tricky finding room when you cannot sit outside.

Ups and Downs. Ups:…read moreThe food is good, it's kinda trust and don't judge a book by its cover. But for starters the grilled cheese is like as thin as an average pointer finger which is like actually crazy. The sprite was a little sketchy, I mean it's kinda worse than what you could get at a gas station and a little more expensive. It was $4 and there's not even refills, I would bring my own water if I were you. The vibe is nice though, like a 60s diner that just felt welcoming and I couldnt tell if there was music or the vibe was making music be in my head. Downs: This might just be a me problem but every time I order chicken from there I barf, and when I don't order chicken I don't barf. The chicken is good, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't risk it for the biscuit. I really had to go to and there is only a men's bathroom with all the stalls and all, and an all gender bathroom with a single toilet. My friend and I go to the bathroom, when we got there we realized we had to wait. There are seats outside of the bathrooms and the like teenage girls are looking at us like we are nasty creatures. The teenagers were eating there and one of them scoffed really loudly before disrespectfully telling us that there is a line. I hate this, there is seats that people use to preserve bathroom spots, this ought to be fixed with like a special sign. Honestly, they were so disrespectful I'm too nervous to go back. But there needs to be a women's/girl's bathroom, seriously.

Dining room was clean and there was vinegar on each table for the fries too! Couldn't ask for any more.
