Took my car in one afternoon for service. I stood in front of five service reps working away on their computers or chatting with one another. I stood there for over six minutes without even a hello or eye contact. I then went to the receptionist only to be told to go back someone will service me. Went back and stood there for another couple of minutes. No one acknowledged my presents so I walked out pissed! I see by the other reviews this dealer has a lot of one star ratings... buying a vehicle from Parkway was make easy through Yen and she has addressed my concerns before and after purchasing. my only issue is in connecting the service department for service questions and after leaving a message not getting a call back. I've done this twice for different issues and ended up bothering Yen so she could find out for me. Bar none the worst experience ever in customer service. Have tried at least 6 times in the last 6 months to reach a service advisor. They refuse to pick up the phone or call back. Dropped my car off for an oil and filter change and they forgot to do it. By the time I reached anyone, I was told the service department had closed for the evening. Being an aspiring DIY mechanic, I reviewed the (hard copy) Owners Manual in my vehicle glove box. Yes, this reference book seldom makes an appearance expect for special occasions... i.e. problems. Well, I found the specific reference to a vehicle fluid and the stated remedy. Off I went to this local Honda dealership because Canadian Tire doesn't sell this genuine Honda part. I can say without a doubt in all my decades visiting dealerships, where the parts department was physical located in a separate building and on a different street. Well, Parkway Honda Parts is a first! You should drive, not walk over to 30 Mobile Drive on the backside of the main dealership. The Parts Department staff member was funny, courteous, and happy to supply genuine Honda parts for a small fortune. Went there for an oil change and they came back and told me rodents chewed through the wires in my car and it would be $1500 to fix. Showed me pictures of the damage on my car. Right. Prove to me thats my car. Went to an independent garage owned by a family friend, they spent an hour checking my car and found zero damage. They saw a lone asian woman and assumed I'm an easy mark. I called ahead to confirm our appointment and arrived to speak to a sales person. We took the car out and really were impressed with its features/performance. I was here two months ago. I can't remember the name of the male that was "helping" me, but I am not ratting anyone out just yet. I was in just browsing around; looking to find more information about the car company and to actually have a look of the interior and exterior. I am not familiar with the brand so I hardly know anything about Honda's than my knowledge towards other automobile companies. He was so rude about everything. Was it because he didn't make the sale? Or persuade me enough? He would roll his eyes, and talk over me while I would be asking a question or making a comment. He almost sounded like he was raising his voice, but then again it could've just been the way he talks. RUDE. Buying or leasing a car obviously does not take the first twenty minute visit to the dealership, but it takes a lot of thinking to do. He was just in a hurry to get rid of me as if there were other people around to help. Which there wasn't. He was useless. Other workers weren't really helpful either. I drive a Civic Hybid with a known "judder" issue - the transmission skips and jumps. There was even a court-required extended warranty on the problem. It surfaced six years ago and was dealt with by a Honda in the San Francisco Bay Area. It showed up again last year and I brought it to a Honda here in Toronto (NOT Parkway) - they wanted to hit me with a $2,000 repair bill before even doing the diagnostics to properly determine the problem, they were cold, unfriendly, unhelpful and all 'round unpleasant (I had to beg Honda Canada to intervene to get the car properly taken care of, since I was just three weeks out of the mandated warranty period). They barely listened to me and were decidedly uninterested in the repair history. When the problem resurfaced, I drove across town to Honda Parkway and dear lord, the difference is night and day. - Amir called the other Honda here in town, Honda USA *and* the dealership in Oakland to get a precise work history on the problem. - They called Honda Canada to try and get them to cover part/all of the work. - They took into consideration that the problem has been worked on twice before. They recommended a new transmission instead of a patch (a patch was done last time), but got half the cost covered. Thus leaving me with a choice of a new transmission for $3k+tax, or the patch that doesn't last for $2k+tax. - They have courtesy cars (the other guys just dumped me at a rental place a few km away). They greet customers with smiles, joshing around, their waiting area is comfortable with a little cafe, wifi, they have an Enterprise desk on-site; three different service reps came to check on me to make sure I was being taken care of, one even offered to grab lunch for me. I've gone to Hondas in San Francisco, Oakland, Livermore CA, Montreal, Toronto, Etobicoke and Edmonton. This is the first time I nearly cried tears of happy instead of anger. (The $3,000 bill isn't happy, but being treated well and with courtesy and consideration was.) read more

Great dealership, great service reasonable rates. Their rates for oil change are cheaper by $30 as compared to Mr. Lube and your car is hand-washed each time you visit the dealership for an oil change. I visited the dealership with a rust problem that was shown to the service advisor during a routine maintenance visit. He was quick to get the paperwork done and advised that the warranty would cover this. An appointment was booked and the car was dropped off. The dealership also provided a complimentary rental which I found to be very convenient. Everything was arranged for by the dealership. Honda is not a "Prestige Brand" like a BMW or Mercedes, but they treat you with the utmost respect and courtesy. The Sales Manager, (I forget the name) personally inspected my vehicle, explained a possible reason for the rust, apologized for this and assured me that the vehicle would be fixed as good as new. Kudos to Parkview Honda, previously my visit to other Honda dealerships were not as pleasant and enjoyable. Highly recommend Parkview Honda for Service. Since my vehicle was not bought at this dealership, I cannot comment on their sales policies. read more

The service I received at Parkway Honda was excellent. We purchased a 2015 Honda Odyssey. Our sales rep, Todor, was easy to work with, and even took the time to drive out to my husband's office to finish some paperwork quickly so we could get our new car earlier than later. David, the manager, gave us a great deal on the car with no BS. We purchased the car within minutes. He didn't make us wait or dither around with "offers". They also bought us lunch while we waited for the paperwork to be filled out. Based on other reviews, I am looking forward to having my new car serviced here as well. Great job guys! read more

WOMEN BEWARE- DO NOT ATTEND THIS DEALERSHIP ON YOUR OWN!! I would give this dealer 0 stars if possible - worst experience ever. Early in the week, the sales representative and I agreed on a deal of a vehicle. I questioned if there were and issues with the vehicle and was advised there were not and the vehicle was Used Honda Certified, which means it must meet high Honda standards. I attended the dealer on Saturday with Bank draft in hand for the full amount of the vehicle. Once I arrived, I inspected the vehicle to find deep swirl marks over the entire finish on the vehicle. After over an hour attempting to arrive at a solution, we could not and I advised I was walking away from the deal. During my time at the dealer, there were 6 different men that I was working with, which seemed very off to me as well. They had requested I arrive at 4:00pm, which I now believe was a tactic to attempt to rush the sale prior to dealership close and hope i would not notice the damage. I left the dealership and headed to my car. 2 men followed me - one being very tall and large. They were insisting I had to take the vehicle plates and pay the associated licensing fees. I told them I was not paying and I was leaving. I proceeded to enter my vehicle and lock the doors as the large man was extremely intimidating. He banged hard on my window. I reversed my vehicle. He stood in front of my vehicle, gesturing that he was not going to move. I inched the vehicle ahead slowly until he removed himself to the side of the vehicle. I then was able to get out of the parking lot. I was scared for my safety and was shaking when I was able to get away. This incident has been reported to Honda Canada. What a horrible experience and a terrible reflection of the Honda name. If I would have been with a male, I don't believe this aggressive, harassing and intimidating experience would have occurred. Parkway held my car for nearly 2 weeks and gave me a $4500 cost quote to fix my Honda Fit's air conditioning/ heating plus some other issues with squeaking brakes. I got a second opinion from Jiffy Lube and within less than an hour, Jiffy was able to fix both issues and only charged me $59. I nearly decided to sell off my car rather than pay Parkway's repair quote. They were way off the mark. Jiffy showed me the parts that Parkway said had to be replaced before I could drive it safely. Jiffy proved that Parkway's diagnosis was over exaggerated, over priced, and in some areas inaccurate and misleading. Parkway even charged me for topping off fluids but I witnessed Jiffy top off the fluids themselves. I took the car for a 1400 mile drive the next week and the car ran fine after Jiffy's 1 hour of work.l for $59. Parkway will misguide and overcharge the average customer and I would warn anyone to stay away from this Service Center. read more

Starting from their open-door policy, to listening to my concerns with care, and finally addressing them in a calm and professional manner. While waiting, I was provided timely updates about the exact processes they were doing with my car which was very much appreciated. By the end of the process, I left with a great and delightful impression and I will be coming back here for future business. Their work is an exemplary example of how to treat and provide excellent customer service. I wish I can give 0 star for Honda Parkway Service.I had my car Odyssey 2018 doing maintenance with oil change, wheels rotating and air filter replacement. Normally at the other dealership the have free carwash comes with oil change but there is none at Honda Parkway Toronto. Also after leaving there, I realized that the touch screen got damaged. There was a crack on the touch screen which it wasn't there before I came to Honda Parkway. I talked to the service manager but they assumed the crack was there before and said it was my fault. I saw some videos while they maintaned my car but all videos only recored the outside, not recording anything details while they were inside my car. I did double check with my husband about the crack and we're sure that THERE WAS NO CRACK ON THE SCREEN BEFORE THE MAINTENANCE AT HONDA PARKWAY. I had a good experience buying here. The renewed lower rating us from the recent customer service and lack of willing to work with their vehicle owners. I have been recently harassed by Parkway Honda about maintaining servicing with them. At the first six month mark I recieved calls from them. After pricing discrepancies between them and another mechanic, I decided to maintain general servicing with an outside company. I asked PH to stop calling as I was no longer going to do general maintenance. Then in 6 months, I received letters reminding me of service. Voicemails reminding me of service. Phone calls! Which I finally answered and AGAIN requested to no longer be contacted as I am no longer using their services. (Also after being told my car needed work done and it was "dangerous to leave!" After disagreeing and taking my car back, their own hand out with specs written said my car was in the *yellow or *moderate range. NOT IN THE RED! They lied to try to get me to spend more than necessary. Recently I called and asked for my cars radio code. They refused to give it over the phone. I asked if I could scan or fax my copy ownership/paperwork as I do not live ANY WHERE close to the area and they were unwilling to work with me.(I get hey don't want to give it to car thieves but I was more than willing to send docs and even face time ) BECAUSE I DON'T LIVE IN THE AREA!!! they refused. If you need a car...they can probably help...but just note you will have a hassled continous interaction with them forever after. read more

It was a waste of time pre booking to see their Honda Civic SI. They took me to a remove lot and the vehicle was embedded among other vehicles so that you could barely open the doors. The agent couldn't even start it up because the fuses had been removed. We went back to the dealership. I voiced my dissatisfaction with the whole process. The manager came out to speak to me before I left. I asked why the vehicle wasn't ready for inspection and a test drive. He said nobody gets to test drive the Civic SI...until you buy it. We don't want someone going for a joy ride. I'm 63 I told him and you are insulting me. I had bought 2 vehicles from them before but never again. just had a problem with my car. it started making a horrible noise under the hood. hesitant to bring it in here but it was close by. within minutes they found out what was going on with my car. suggested a repair and the cost for this insepction was 60$. They suggested to replace a belt at 160$ but what I found helpful is that they actually brought me into the garage to look at the car to show me what was going on. I have to end up bringing it back to the auto shop that did work on it earlier this week instead of having them fix it. but i was very glad at how they handled this at Parkway honda. I think all dealerships should put the customer first (what happened to customer service?) instead of the mighty dollar first. Some dealerships build a false sense of care or concern for the customer - providing coffee and car wash etc - but if they dont get the car fixed and gouge the customer, all that stuff means nothing. Parkway honda seemed honest enough without trying to gouge me out of every penny I got; they explained to me and showed me what was going on. read more

on monday october, 17, 2016, at 8:00am i brought my 2016 honda accord touring v-6 sedan in for a standard oil change. that seemed to go well. however, i was told i would be there 1 hour and 15 minutes including a complementary car wash which parkway honda offers to its customers when having any service work done on their car. after 1 hour, 20 minutes went buy i was having breakfast with my wife and i looked out the window and noticed that my car, very dirty was sitting in a parking space. i walked over to one of the service advisors. adam. my original service advisor had passed on my service work order over to a guy named adam. i forget the name of my service advisor for that day i first spoke to upon walking into the service department. but he was not friendly at all and seemed stressed and not happy to be there for his job. i asked adam why my car was just sitting in one of the parking spaces dirty, when i had requested the complimentary car wash. he did not give me a direct answer and just said he would call the person that washes the cars to come and get my car to wash it. i went back to the cafe ther at the dealership and waited an additional about 45 minutes for my car to be taken and washed. when my car was brought back and i paid for the oil change, then went outside to where my car was parked. i saw that it was still wet from the car wash and much of my car was still dirty at the bottom sides of my car. i was already running late for an important business meeting and had no time to go back into the dealership to ask that my car be washed again properly and be dried properly. i am not happy at all and am thinking seriously about not getting my car serviced any more at parkway honda. i am very disappointed in this very poor car wash. it is something that parkway honda offers for free to its customers. it would be great if my car was just washed properly and dried properly. what is the point of getting something for free it the job is not done properly. this is my second honda accord i am leasing from parkway honda now and i expect much better service from them. i used to get great service in the past. i have no idea what has happened. this is not my problem and i don't care what has happened to the service staff accept that their attitudes and workmanship has gone down the tubes. i hope the president of parkway honda, mr. bryndon davies will read my review and respond accordingly. read more

This is by far the worst dealership service I've ever experienced in all the years I've owned a vehicle (and I used to own a Ford so that's saying something)! I called in early in the week to ensure that I could get a morning appointment on Saturday. All I needed was an oil change so I figured it would be a quick in and out deal. Upon arrival I was asked to provide some basic information as it was my first time bringing my truck in for service - a process that should have taken 5 minutes and was somehow stretched to almost half an hour because a new employee was learning on the job (on a busy weekend no less) without being properly trained. I then turned over my keys and was asked to sit in the waiting area. Where I waited. And waited. And waited some more. I approached the counter after 2 hours had passed and inquired about the status of my truck. The only response I received was "They're working on it". At this point I asked to speak with the manager. I expressed my frustration with the service I had received, the time I'd been waiting with no explanation of why and the overall lack of respect and communication I had been shown. The manager made a weak attempt at an apology, placed a call and confirmed that my truck would be ready in 10 minutes. Half an hour later, still no truck so I approached the service desk again. And again I was told 10 minutes. At this point I just wanted my truck so I could leave and never come back. 3 hours for an oil change? Save yourself some trouble and look elsewhere. I respect Honda as a brand and I've been to some great dealerships, unfortunately, so far, they've all been outside of the city. read more

I had a bad experience. They were overtly treating persons differently based on age and gender; and the manager made excuses for this behaviour rather than try to help; their customer service was thus not good. They - may yet - reply that it never happened, so when they say this, know that I documented every detail and sent it to Honda Canada. Also, they tried to upsell me on repairs (tried to talk me into service 5X the cost of the actual booked services). It was heavy pressure, tried to get me to pay for more than a thousand dollars rather than under two hundred, even when I explained I didn't have that kind of money. (They -may yet - try to say the more than $1000 would all be necessary but I went somewhere else and found out that while I do need some minor repairs, its nowhere near that amount). Also; I tried three times to post a google review and was blocked every time even though I checked the google policies and did not post anything that would violate the policy. I think they made some kind of deal with google. You will notice their rating here is much lower than that on google. They have now suggested in their reply below that I try customer service, as you can see above I already did (several times). Also please notice one of the posters recommended the helpful CBC video and my posts are consistent with both what is shown in the video and the comments of other posters here especially those who identified as women. read more

Sunny was pleasant to deal with on my busy schedule. I told him I went to several dealerships prior and want to cut to the chase without the back and forth crap. I had the dealer purchase price already and didn't want to waste my time bargaining. I didn't walk in expecting the dealership to give me their rate since obviously they are in business for a profit and I am aware that the sales reps are on a commission wage. But I did want a deal. I liked the way Sunny cut to the chase and gave me the numbers knowing I already had his price in mind. He made it quick and easy. I literally walked in and out with a new Accord top shelf with all the gadgets. All in all I received a deal on a car I knew I wanted. The dealership sold a car at a profit and the salesperson made a quick buck by being straightforward and honest. I believe it was a good day for the three of us. read more

NEVER deal with this Dealerahip. I bought my first ever car there, a 2013 Sentra in 2016. I reached 100,000km on it and the transmission completely died. I still owe $9000 on the car and the dealership is quoting me $8,000 to replace the transmission with another crappy Sentra transmission. The dealership knew this was a common problem with the car and they completely took advantage of me. I now have to now bus my 1 year old baby to day care which take s 1.5 hours each way. That commute plus her 9 hour day at daycare while I am at work means my baby has a 12 hour day, because I was sold this piece of junk that I cannot afford to fix. read more

Their service centre is very unreasonable. Do not bother getting paint/fabric protection. I was told this insurance will cover removing stains on my seats. When I went in for stains to be removed, I was told I had to pay for auto detailing FIRST and then only they can remove the stains. In that case, what is the point of $699 insurance ? read more

I was there the civic holiday weekend and I hated my experience there. I had to leave and drive to the Danforth Location. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We got in and the first sales rep (a black guy seated by the entrance), he saw us come in but looked at us and kept playing with his cell phone like he could not be bothered....Maybe because he saw two ladies leisurely dressed.. We walked in and not even an hello from the other sales reps...all pretending to be busy or what not. When we finally got attended to, the sales rep looked us from head to toe and was pretty much rushing us out like we were wasting his time. I felt degraded by that act alone.... All the cars we wanted was not in stock...I felt it was a way to rush us out We did not get his name because he never really greeted us, introduced himself or gave us a complimentary card. I would recommend Honda on Lakeshore or Danforth or better still Toyota for better customer service and advise. 0% customer service!!!!! read more
