Quite a nondescript little church in a provincial backwater, which just happens to have once been Napoleon's local parish church when he stayed at nearby Malmaison. It also houses the elegant tombs of his divorced wife, Joséphine and her daughter Reine Hortense. Joséphine's tomb is very beautiful and is a reconstruction in marble of her kneeling pose in David's iconic 'Sacre de Napoléon'. Worth a visit if you are interested in Napoleonic history. read more
