We stopped at 2 different RV repair shops in Ukiah. Both of them listened to our problems and then said that the earliest they could fit us in would be in three months. LOL. The last place suggested we check out NCD Painting, which also services RVs and Heavy Equipment. We pulled in, met Pete Moyer who also listened to our tale of woe. He then called over Sean, and they both began figuring out what needed to be fixed. I was expecting Pete to tell me to come back in 2 months; but no, they immediately began working on the van. They fixed the leak in our water filter. Then they tackled our gray water problem. They worked on it for 2 hours and fixed our problems and sent us on our way. Pete and Sean were incredibly nice and accommodating. They charged us a very reasonable price. And they will never see us again. Amazing people. I can't remind recommend NCD Painting enough. The man I spoke with had the best "Can Do" attitude that inspired confidence. I took my badly bent bumper and crushed tail light into them the next day, about an hour before their closing time. I didn't have to wait at all! They jumped right to it and knocked the whole job out in 20 minutes (I had the tail light replacement part.) The waiting lounge was super tidy and comfortable. The young man was happy to do the job for free in exchange for a review. I gave them a good tip needless to say. They were super courteous and professional. Did a great job. I left feeling happy that such kindness still existed in the world. They clearly have pride in their work and environment. Best mechanic experience ever.

We also realized after the fact that we paid a "set up" or prep fee of $75. We went on this trip with three other families, we all rented from different locations. We were the only one charged for a set up fee, not my major compliant however. We are also the only family that didn't get their full deposit return. We are also the only family who had to send numerous emails wondering where our deposit was. After finally contacting our credit card company who then contacted Vogel, we did get a partial check ( a month later). We took a public road to a friends property. Upon arrival we had to drive on his property to park our RVs. We admit the property had Manzanita bush that weren't completely cleared. However, since all the other families were responsible for returning their RV clean, they made sure the red marks from the bush were removable. With a paper towel and 409 cleaner the red stain disappeared. Hence the reason they weren't charged. Of course we tested this on our RV as well but decided since we were paying $275 to have them clean it, we would be fine. WRONG!!! Apparently our 20 foot trailer needed $475 worth of cleaning. Yes $475!!! We got charged an extra $200 that's $100 dollars per hour they claimed it took to buff out these red marks. They stated it took them 2 hours at $100 per hour to wax and buff the red marks; marks we all removed with a paper towel and 409 cleaner. My husband is an executive at a major company and he doesn't make $100 an hour. This seemed totally unfair and over the top to me. I feel we were taken advantage of. I've never written a YELP review. I'm not a negative person, I feel this was poor customer service and truly unfair.

Obviously if he had the head checked at the shop he would have know what the problem was in the first place. I should have known when I saw the mechanic reading out of a book he was not qualified to do the work. But the truck was already torn down. I am a deisel mechanic myself but not a pacaar mechanic but I could have done better than Roberts shop. Stay away!
