She never took my case seriously and always scheduled calls with me at the last minute of the workweek. The most egregious incident occurred the weekend before Easter when she called while driving. The call dropped three times, and even after I had questions about my case, she declared that she had arrived at her destination and had to go, hanging up abruptly. This left me feeling anxious about the information she had provided and the lack of a thorough explanation. My time with Janee was terrible. She was uncommunicative and clearly needed assistance in her home office. I strongly advise you to work with someone who is more organized, responsive, and professional. I had to hire another attorney to complete the work I had started with her. After I asked her about settling any outstanding bills and officially ending her time as my attorney, I heard nothing. Five months later, out of nowhere, she sent me a bill for nearly $1,000 for more of her subpar work, exceeding the original retainer fee. However, I noticed that the call she made while driving through the mountains that repeatedly dropped was included on the bill. She should be ashamed of herself.

I responded that day, saying that I was moving ahead with the transactions we discussed one way or another, and that "Yes, I would love to get a proposal." Two weeks later, still no proposal. 4 days later, I pinged her again, asking if she was "sick or something...anything." It had now been well over a month since she had promised a proposal. Finally, she responds with, "Unfortunately, I'm afraid that my current workload will not allow me to work with you in the timeframe you need for a successful transaction." What a complete waste of time. This delayed me moving ahead on several fronts by six weeks. What a completely inconsiderate way to treat a prospective client...to treat anyone. If she didn't want me as a client tell me that six weeks ago. If she didn't have time to take on a client don't agree to meet me for a consultation. Ugh.
